Had an AMAZING time at Brodeur's Bistro. Our server, Keith, was absolutely phenomenal. He was a mind reader. Somehow he always knew what we needed before we even asked for it. I can't remember the last time (if ever) I had that great a level of customer service at a restaurant. I was absolutely blown away. I would 100% come back to eat here again and tell all my friends and family just cause of Keith. Please give him a raise. He deserves it! The other thing that amazed me was the smoked chicken wings. Holy smokes! Those were DELICIOUS!!! I've never had chicken wings that good ever in my entire life. 10/10 would recommend. They are a MUST have. Love the food here. We have been trying different dishes when we come and the food never disappoints. Tried the Bayou Shrimp, have a nice kick but not too spicy as I can't handle spicy food. We also tried the Pierre's Cuban sandwich which was tasty. The Chipotle sauce has a kick to it. Love the Garlic Parmesan Fries. read more

The ambiance here is fun, there is laughter in the air. Wide open and attractive. I love coming here for the crazy amount of side dishes to choose from (22!). They did a wonderful job on the decor and the bathrooms are little compact rooms (more Women's then men's)!!! We have only gotten great service here. The servers are nice with personality and don't act like they are doing you a favour. The parking is fantastic, big garage with EV charging! We keep coming back! read more

Our first try at the new Brodeur's now in Langley after sadly closing their Abbotsford location a few months ago. Brodeur's has their own dedicated underground parking now which is nice. The space is brand new and nicely decorated, although we question the carpeting as the flooring choice long term. We were quickly seated in what was a relatively empty space, although it was 1:30 in the afternoon. We did find for how empty it was that the service was fairly slow throughout our lunch. Quick service and it's a 5 star experience as the food certainly did not let the place down. I had the Grande Montreal smoked meat while the lovely K had the Reuben. Both were generous in their portions and sides which we had come to expect from the Abbey location. We took half of our meals home and made a brilliant hash and eggs for breakfast the following morning. We are certainly happy to have this establishment closer to home, and we will most certainly be back again! read more

Food is really good at this place just like the one in Abbotsford, which is now closed. We had a really good waitress name Belle who was really great at making suggestions on the different drinks and food. There was underground parking the place is brand new so it was nice. We stopped by for lunch over the weekend. Service was great. Menu selection was excellent. We tried a few items and were quite pleased at the quality and taste. Fries were crispy and pipping hot. Wings were flavourful. Bayou shrimp had a good spicy kick. My husband enjoyed his sandwiches and creamy mac n' cheese. Definitely, we will be back to try other items in their menu. read more

Went in for a early dinner on Boxing day. Just my wife and i. Place was steady, but not super busy as we showed up just before 5pm. The area we sat in was nice, but very cold, I did notice an air conditioning vent above us so i asked our server to possibly turn off the air conditioning, an odd request in December when its 0 degrees outside. After that we ordered our food, came out fairly quickly, but wow was it bad. I ordered the blackened catfish, it looked and tasted like leather. My wife ordered a salmon bowl and the amount of sauce smothered over it was to the point of laughable. When i saw my plate of food dropped off it was very lackluster, actually kind of funny as the rice portion i had was the same size as the slice as my lemon wedge on my plate, not to mention almost everything was cold. The taste of all the components on our plates seemed as if there were a lot of leftovers in the kitchen and then threw that into the bowl and plate we ate from. Not a lot of cohesion between the food. Just a weird combination to say the least. Tasted like microwave dinner from and airplane in coach or at least like something from a chain restaurant where its bagged, tagged and microwaved. The corn bread was tragic, i have never had a dryer bread in my life, it basically exploded when you bite into it and crumbles into a dry pile of sadness We ate here once before with my adult children and the food was fine then , at least that food was hot, but to say its an Authentic New Orleans style of food is like saying Olive Garden is a Authentic Italian. Needless to say, we wont be going back. Hopefully someone who reads these reviews can take it and maybe think twice and try somewhere else that isn't a cookie cutter style of restaurant food read more

Excellent food and service. Chloe was very attentive. We enjoyed the beef dip, cheese steak, cordon blue, ribs and jambalaya. The full rack of ribs was an impressive sight. We were a party of six with seniors that are hard of hearing and they sat us in an excellent quieter area, near the underground parking/exit door. We were able to talk and hear each other which is lacking at a lot of restaurants these days. It was a nice evening out and we shared the beignets to cap the birthday dinner. read more

Went on a Holiday Monday but got in right away. Unfortunately they were sold out of most of their wine choices but we managed to snag a white and a red. Good prices on wine. We ordered the Cobb Salad and the Chopped Chicken Salad. Portions are huge and both were tasty. read more

Wow...this was the second time we went to this restaurant. I heard that they were that iconic restaurant in Abbotsford so I had to give it a go...again. We check around after this last visit and original in Abby is closed, so sad . So the first visit the girls decided to scout this place brand new place in the hood, this was after they had already done their soft launch. Their timing was so bad....We waited 1.5 hours for our food. The manager did not come until the end of our wait, we didn't have to pay but wow it was really not good. I say, luckily we were there to visit but by the time we got our food we were so hangry. Food was good, okay...kind of pub/bbq place stuff. This last time, I thought well it had been a few months now, can't be that bad now and took my partner there for his bday. We wanted to have a relaxed dinner but their timing was off again and we were out of there in 2 hours. Maybe they need better floor training for staff. When you don't have intuition for waiting you have to count on watching and asking your customers. Not sure we will go back for food again. Maybe just drinks, they were good! Try the sangria or the Caesar, I recommend them .... The place is well laid out and inviting, good ambiance...a little loud when busy for those noise sensitive peeps. Took my father here for his Birthday and had a great Birthday dinner with amazing food and great sides to choose from, I love their corn bread. The service was great and our server was great at checking if we needed anything and if we liked our food. The restaurant had some monster tv's to watch the game if you want. This place is going downhill already....sad really as we moved to Langley in September of 2024 and were excited to see them in our neighborhood, went to have dinner with my son and his girlfriend, my appetizer fish tacos ($20 for two) were a joke, two tiny little squares of fish in which I had to dig for amongst all the slaw and took forever to get.....my guests were almost finished with their dinner before I got mine and the service was terrible, young man looked as if he was a chicken with his head cut off.....terrible, will never go back! I've been to Brodeur's several times when it was located in Abbotsford and the food was always top notch. I went to Brodeur's after they relocated to Langley and they maintained the same high quality dishes as well as super friendly staff. The atmosphere is suitable for large parties, watching sports on their super large screen TV as well as being family friendly dining. A significantly larger parking lot is available at the new location as well. Our 2 year and 4 year old were treated very well by the restaurant staff as they made a special effort to serve them first because they were hungry. I will definitely be going back, especially for their Montreal smoked meat sandwich. read more
