Stopped in for a nice dinner without reservations on a Saturday and had such a lovely evening. While there was a bit of wait for a table, the bar was open and was perfect. Our server was super helpful, fast and fun to chat with. The patio was lively and beautiful but not too loud made for a great evening. We decided to split the gnocchi and scallops and they both were absolutely incredible. I think i have been dreaming of both plates ever since! The prices are fair for how great of a restaurant it is and beautiful the food is. Definitely will consider coming here instead of a night downtown next time. Will definitely be back again soon.

Love this place! Food was great and the patio was nice on a warm spring evening, great for people watching. Will definitely be back.

We love Beatniks but today I was disappointed because my plentiful bowl did not have any avocados in it! We ordered a burger, plentiful bowl and aubergine dip = $59 with 15% tip. Food was delicious, as always. Their bacon cheddar burger is one of the best burgers I've had so thumbs up there! Their quinoa salad bowl was amazing but it would've been better if avocados were included because I paid $18 to have avocados Aubergine dip was lovely but would've been even better to have some olive oil on the side

We checked this place out at the urging of our Sons, and are we ever happy we did! The location is great for people watching in historic Fort Langley, the service exemplary, and the food stellar! We have now been there a number of times, now, and it was consistently excellent. We can only attest to the the weekend brunch menu, but would hazard a guess that the food throughout will leave you satisfied with the quantity and impressed with the quality. There is usually a queue on weekends, but the wait is well worth it. They will take your number and call you when your table is ready. That allows you to wander a little bit and visit some of the many shops and services nearby. Street parking can be difficult, but they have a large parking area behind the restaurant that hasn't been busy the two times we have used it. The Lakeboat Lager is fantastic, and had our male half scouring the private liquor stores all around Langley, sadly with no luck. Just one more reason to continue to explore the menu again and again!

Fantastic bistro. Been many times and they have a great patio. Live music on Thursday nights which is amazing. The service is 5 star. Our waitress Jenny knows what we like and what our favorites are and if there is something new she knows if we would like it or not. Lunch today started with a pitcher of punchanelle sangria, so refreshing and a must try. My friend had the mango chicken wrap with fries, so delicious. I went for the crab and shrimp stack that was fresh and so satisfying.

I have been to Fort Langley several times but never to Beatniks, and I was pleasantly surprised by the veggie fare! My fellow diners spoke highly of the chicken wings and I shared the avocado toast and Plentiful Bowl with a friend - both were SO GOOD! And vegan, if you skip the egg on the toast! Avocado toast was simple but well-executed with great flavour and balsamic glaze, and the bowl was full of texture and the chickpeas were PERFECTLY crispy. Oh, and I almost forgot - they have a drink called "Best Ever Chai Latte," which is a bold title, right? Well, I think they actually lived up to it! Get it with oat milk 100%.

Set in the heart of Ft. Langley, this is a staple restaurant with high quality food and service. I enjoy the atmosphere, service and most of all the food is delicious. Live music was playing on the patio-reservations recommended. Coconut prawns, Gnocchi, and salad were divine. Looking forward to my next visit!

Local bistro in Fort Langley with good service! The food is not the most memorable but it is solid. I ordered the artisan salad with wild salmon on the side - salmon was dry. My partner had the beef dip which was pretty good. The sour dough bread it came with held in the sandwich fillings nicely and held together with the beef dip. The fries I think came from frozen tho. I enjoyed the Caesar cocktail very much - for $6.50, great price! 3.5 stars only because again, while the food wasn't bad - it wasn't wow.

Food is wonderful, the beef dip is my personal favourite. I really enjoy the patio dining in warm weather.

It is the worse hard liquor I have ever bought. Lavender?? No, just some slightly amber gin that I can't even mix with anything. Whitley Niell makes a great Parma Lavender Gin that I first tried in a cocktail in Portsmouth UK. It isn't sold in Canada anymore unfortunately and was only for a short period. That was the reason I snapped up the Roots and Wings gin but I am resigned to using it for cleaning. I did try some of their other products and only the Abisnstine impressed me. I would have loved to have given a great review of their liquor but that wasn't possible. Drinking their cocktails is a different thing as they have a great mixologist. My advice- visit them, get a sample before buying, and buy only what tastes good to you. Everyone has different tastes.

I was the only there since it was 1pm on a Monday after all. Was about to grab to an Old Fashion after looking at their online menu, but was then told that they did flights so that's what I got. The flight; You choose six from a list of about 15. They do primarily vodka, but they do have some whiskey, gin, and even am Absinthe. I was very happy with all 6 and would order them again. I won't really go into any detail about each spirit since everyone has their own preference when it comes to alcohol. What I can say is that their Old Fashioned Spirit was my favorite. The service: The person working at the time was really friendly and helpful. Willing to answer questions about the spirits and make recommendations. The distillery: It's small and due to Covid Protocols they're only accepting 6 people in the building; however, they have a lot of outdoor space to enjoy. Their pick-up truck bar is the most eye catching so that's where we sat. I'd 100% come back here and if I lived in Langley I'd probably make this place one of my go to hangouts.

We got a reservation a day before and there were plenty of spots available. They had a big drinks menu and quiet a few food options as well. Best part was that they had lots of veggie options! Here's what we got: Drinks - :: Zero-proof pineapple fizz - it def looked as good as it tasted. Very refreshing and fruity! Really enjoyed it. :: Guava aperol margarita - delicious! I could taste the guava and the spice on the rim of the glass was perfectly paired with the drink Food - :: Parmesan plenta fries - was so excited to try it, I wasn't sure what to expect. The presentation was amazing, just wish they were a big more crispy but the dipping sauce it came with was really good :: Burrata Bucatini - calabrian chili vodka cream sauce, pancetta, burrata, ricotta, thai basil, grano padano 3/5 :: Brick half chicken - pretty good! I would give it a 4/5 it was really creamy and the chicken was cooked well but I don't think it was seasoned that well. I would say for the portion size and the food, it was a bit overpriced but definitely 5/5 for the ambiance!

It's a stunning space, maybe the best in Langley that we have seen. The entrance is physical, with a wallpaper you'll never see, the shell shape is a statement. The hallway to the washrooms requires some attention with the light and to the reality of the place. The service was top notch, with the two staff members taking care of all of the tables with a well choreographed movement of product. The food, we wish, had reached the level of the service. The best item that we had was the Polenta fries with real Parmigiana Reggiano and a spicy Calabrian chili mayo and chive ash was in our mind fantastic! We'd come back for that alone. My Falafel pull apart sandwich had good flavour, but the corkscrew fried pickle was underwhelming and greasy. I don't know how they made the fries so dry, but they weren't good. The lovely K had the Spicy Peanut noodle bowl, which needed far more peanut flavour, more acid and maybe a little heat. The menu is quite eclectic, but might be a little too much so for some diners. That said the Polenta fries will bring us back, and we'll be trying to copy them at home.

We added the beef tartare which was very tasty. It has the crostini embedded into the tartare itself. The last course was a lemon tart with blueberries accompanied by a lavender ice cream. The lavender ice cream was so delicious but the lemon tarte was quite tangy for me. Service was impeccable and the setting really can't be beat. My friend and I visited Sunflower Cafe for a late Sunday morning brunch at 11 after making a reservation a couple days prior. Reservations are highly recommended, as I heard one of the staff turn away some walk-in customers during the busy hours. Super easy to book a table online thankfully! When I walked in around the corner of the tent, my jaw dropped--what a stunning setting. There are little gazebo type tables for parties of 4ish, and single tables under a large tent for parties of 2, all in the middle of over 250 varieties of crops, if I remember correctly. Service was incredible; our server seemed to anticipate our needs and also gave great personalized recommendations. I got the duck confit hash, and my friend got the mushroom toast. Holy smokes. The eggs are fresh from the chickens on the farm, and it shows. They were cooked perfectly, and had a beautifully golden yolk spilling out when poked. The jus that the mushrooms were sautéed in was incredibly rich and gave a savory pop to the earthy mushrooms. And the scones!!! How could I forget. I could eat the lemon curd with a spoon. (I did, actually.) The mimosas were also a big plus--not too sweet, and a nice accompaniment to hearty dishes. Prices weren't cheap (~$20 per entree), but worth it for the view, service, quality, and freshness. I'm almost reluctant for other people to find out about this place because I want to keep it all to myself. Bravo, Sunflower Cafe! May you continue to bloom and grow!
