We had a 6pm reservation and were there for an hour and a half. The meals were OK, but the thing that I'm upset about is that just after we had ordered coffee and tea, our server told us we'd have to finish up and leave!!! Honestly, my coffee wasn't even cool enough to drink before they asked us to leave! If we had ordered dessert, we would've really been rushed!! I've never been asked to leave a table before. Stopped here to meet some family members while in Canada. Pleasantly surprised as none of us have been here before. Seating is typically for 4 but they made adjustments for our 6 person party which was really nice. The staff were incredibly friendly. It's definitely on the louder side, so I think our waiter had a difficult time hearing us, which made for a funny scenario. I saw some other review complain about the volume, and although it is loud, it really isn't the fault of the restaurant which I think makes for an unfair review. Food was great, I had the blackened teriyaki bowl w/ chicken. I will say portion size could be a little bigger. I got extra chicken in mine, and to be honest it felt like a regular portion of chicken? so I can only imagine the regular would feel quite small. The rest of the table had the tuna poke, which looked great, but again maybe light on the tuna? and the Calabrian Hot Honey pizza, which I thought was fantastic. Outstanding restaurant! All of the staff were friendly and engaging. We had the eggs Benny and the blackberry French toast. Wow. I loved the addition of arugula on the Benny. Went back again and it did not disappoint, in fact the bar was raised! We had the beef short rib with seasonal vegetables and mashed potatoes with a side of gravy - it was melt in your mouth delicious! Also the Alfredo fettuccine with big blackened juicy prawns and 2 pieces of perfected toasted Foccacia bread. Then a Neapolitan mousse dessert that topped off this magical mouth watering event. This restaurant offers both high end dishes as well as pizzas and burgers. It's a quaint venue but the noise level is BEYOND anything I would expect. We had a table of young women next to us who were SO loud we couldn't hear ourselves speak. It was clear they had no regard for other diners. It was our second time and we won't return. We had a lovely evening at Table Bistro. You have to walk through the lobby of the office tower to access the restaurant. Parking is available at the lot for the office tower. We had dinner on Friday night and fortunately we had made reservations since the restaurant was very busy. It is a lovely bistro and it has a nice welcoming feel to it. It is very lively. It was not too loud however and it was easy to have a good conversation with your companion without having to shout. The tables are nicely set. Our server Jen was very good. It has a small menu that consists mainly of starters, pizza, sandwiches, burgers and a limited number of entrees. We shared the duck and chorizo tacos for an appetizer. They were crispy and very tasty. They were served with house made charred jalapeno sauce (that was delicious) and a citrus salsa. It was also served with a side of tortilla chips. We enjoyed the tacos but it was not like your standard taco but more like a panini as it was fairly flat and it was grilled. For entrees I had the short rib and my husband had the pan roasted chicken. Both entrees were well prepared and very good. We shared a peach cobbler with ice cream for dessert. We ordered a bottle of wine with dinner. When we looked at the wine list on-line before dinner the prices on the wine were 20% less than the prices shown on the menu at The Table. When we mentioned this to Jen she said that she would have to discuss this with the manager. Apparently when the pricing on the regular menu was updated they failed to update the prices for the wine on their website. Jen charged us the price that was shown on their website. The prices for the wine were fairly substantial to begin with but with an additional 20% tacked on they are outrageously priced. We had a lovely evening. The bistro has a really nice welcoming feel to it. The food was good and the service by Jen was excellent. The prices are on the high side. We would return but it would not be a regular go to dine out evening for us. read more

We saw the reviews on this new place in Abbotsford and decided to check it out! I'll start off by saying, this is a cocktail restaurant. So they really recommend ordering drinks with your food. But since a couple of our group don't drink, they were helpful in trying to recommend variations of the cocktails they have without alcohol. They make all their syrups, and mixers in house, so of course, every thing tastes delicious. I recommend the peach smash, it was soooo good and went down to easy. As for the food, it was all so good! You have to try their Calabrian hot honey pizza.....oh man! So good! It has everything, heat, sweet spice and crispy perfect pizza dough, but soft inside. You have to try any of their pizzas, but this one is definitely my fave. We also tried the duck sandwich which was toasted with lots of fresh and crunchy in house made pickles and mustard. Yum! Definitely come and give this place a try! Just a couple tips, you need to enter the commercial side of the apartment bldgs, there's two entrances. One is the apartment side. There's also an outdoor area to sit, so if you make reservations be sure to mention if you want to sit inside or out. read more

The waiters will definitely recommend the best dishes for those who have allergies so just ask. The restaurant is on the smaller end but the atmosphere is very nice. After a day of apple picking, we stopped by this restaurant for lunch. It is located at the corner of a condo and commercial building. The restaurant was not super busy when we arrived. We were able to sit next to the glass windows. Water and menus were dropped off. We placed our orders after looking over the menu. The restaurant ambiance was very nice. It was modern and airy. There was plenty of natural light. This is the type of restaurant I would expect in downtown Vancouver. The prices and portion size reflect that too. Service was great because the restaurant was not that busy. Food was tasty and presented well. I enjoyed my Duck Cubano sandwich. The tomato soup was a touch on the salty side. After driving in the pouring rain from Seattle, we stopped by to order takeout (yes, we could have called but we wanted no mistakes - more to come on that). We ordered TWO Spicy Peanut Bowls w/tofu and the Sweet Potato Hummus appetizer (thank God). We waited 25 minutes, then drove 20 minutes back to our Airbnb only to discover that we had ONE entree. We called and spoke to the manager who told us "sorry, our mistake, but we did only charge you for one, so it seems we really dropped the ball the entire time". They offered to make another entree and not charge for it, but who wants to drive 40 minutes in the rain while the first order turns stone cold? Basically two people stood in front of your host and placed a clear order that you failed at, and that's the best you can do? We split one meal and an appetizer and will absolutely not return. Well this is a lovely find! Service, amazing and the server took the time to explain different items and make recommendations. Although we were there for lunch, and not having drinks, he made a point of explaining how they avoid waste and how their menu is developed. Hubby and I shared the sweet potato hummus. I have to say I'm going to try this one at home. It was very tasty, although it had raisins and hubby hates those, but all the more for me. Hubby had a smash burger and it was the perfect portion for him. I had the poké bowl and it was an interesting combination of salad with the poké. I'm always looking for ideas of how to do my own at home. This was a simple bowl with the salad, edamame but the surprise was the pineapple!! Now I really have a good idea. The parking was a little difficult for us. We don't live in the area and come out for the hospital, and reddit has given us a list of lunch places that are around the hospital. I would definitely say this was a good recommendation. The parking is off Gladwin, no way to get in off the cross street. And you go in to the business part of the complex, and straight through. We sat on the patio, not sure how ambience-like you can get - it was a bit noisy but not so much we couldn't hear. In short, we will be back. This is one of Abbotsford's best kept secrets. Very unassuming, bottom of highrise building across from Mill Lake. We went in out of curiosity. We were greated warmly and seated at a small table. The atmosphere was pleasant with about 80 percent of the tables filled on a Sunday but it was the same on a previous visits. It's not a large place which adds a bit to the atmosphere but if this place becomes well known for the best part, the food, it's going to be hard to get a seat! The servers and owner on site, are top notch and you can tell they like working there as they are knowledgable, engaging and attentive. Food can be very subjective to be sure but each time I've come, it's always been a 10/10! The menu is not excessive and there is something to please everyone with a nice variety to suit one's mood. Each of the items we've had were very good and in my opinion, really tastes like there was pride taken in preparating it. The prices are excellent value and the food will leave you with a bit of a home cooking satisfyed kind of feeling. Specifically, we've not had anything other than very good meals but my current favourite is the empanadas appetizers and the smashburger! Just so good! I don't know anybody that works there, I rarely of ever write reviews, and it was a random drive by but I highly recommend everybody give Table Bistro a try. The only downside is that you'll find yourself wanting to return and given its size (not a huge corporate location), we may find the need for reservations at some point.
