Lovely glass of Cote du Rhone

A very good restaurant, one of my favourite places in Abbotsford! The staff are great, fun, friendly and great at their jobs!! The food is always great!

A fantastic little boîte in Abbotsford. The management team and chefs really know what they are doing here. Food is fresh and made from scratch. I work in the Valley. But honestly, worth a trip to the Valley even if you don't.

This restaurant offers both high end dishes as well as pizzas and burgers. It's a quaint venue but the noise level is BEYOND anything I would expect. We had a table of young women next to us who were SO loud we couldn't hear ourselves speak. It was clear they had no regard for other diners. It was our second time and we won't return. The food was excellent but if you're looking for a quiet meal this is NOT your place.

We saw the reviews on this new place in Abbotsford and decided to check it out! I'll start off by saying, this is a cocktail restaurant. So they really recommend ordering drinks with your food. But since a couple of our group don't drink, they were helpful in trying to recommend variations of the cocktails they have without alcohol. They make all their syrups, and mixers in house, so of course, every thing tastes delicious. I recommend the peach smash, it was soooo good and went down to easy. As for the food, it was all so good! You have to try their Calabrian hot honey pizza.....oh man! So good! It has everything, heat, sweet spice and crispy perfect pizza dough, but soft inside. You have to try any of their pizzas, but this one is definitely my fave. We also tried the duck sandwich which was toasted with lots of fresh and crunchy in house made pickles and mustard. Yum! Definitely come and give this place a try! Just a couple tips, you need to enter the commercial side of the apartment bldgs, there's two entrances. One is the apartment side. There's also an outdoor area to sit, so if you make reservations be sure to mention if you want to sit inside or out.

Only good things to say here. So many great dishes on offer, and the quality is top rate. Menu is clearly laid out for GF options. Tip: try the short ribs and the whipped cheesecake!! Friendly staff make you feel important. A perfect place for an anniversary night out!

After a day of apple picking, we stopped by this restaurant for lunch. It is located at the corner of a condo and commercial building. The restaurant was not super busy when we arrived. We were able to sit next to the glass windows. Water and menus were dropped off. We placed our orders after looking over the menu. The restaurant ambiance was very nice. It was modern and airy. There was plenty of natural light. This is the type of restaurant I would expect in downtown Vancouver. The prices and portion size reflect that too. Service was great because the restaurant was not that busy. Food was tasty and presented well. I enjoyed my Duck Cubano sandwich. The tomato soup was a touch on the salty side. Overall, it was a great meal to finish off the trip out to Abbotsford.

Despite being advertised as an Indian restaurant, their menu has a large variety of great menu choices you spend time going through. I ordered the Tuna Poke Bowl with the Pisco Sour cocktail. The drink was strong in sweetness, like the name entails, yet still enjoyed the foamy, bitter taste that accompanies it. The poke bowl was excellent. All the ingredients in the bowl compliments each other in flavour. I really liked the rice and the miso dressing in how it adds to the mixture. Although, a few of the ingredients were a little hard like the avocados. I thought the service was lacking when I noticed one was at the front counter during my arrival, and it was not even busy. I did get a table anywhere in the establishment. The interior look was modern yet upscale with expansive space that are divided into three separate rooms. This restaurant is a great place to eat and socialize and lives up to the lounge aesthetic. I would not mind coming back to eat at the Aroma Bistro.

I was never refunded by Uber Eats. And the other day I went in to pick up my order I placed on Doordash, they were asking did you pay? I was like yeah that's how Doordash works, you pay first, so they respond oh I don't know I'm new here. It only tells me their staff is not trained but why do customers have to suffer because of it?

Consistency I have been coming here randomly about six times since they opened, and that consistency is impressive. Portions are steady, service feels genuine, and every dish arriving at the table shows care. Nothing pretentious, just honest food that makes you smile and feel comfortable. Creativity, done right There is a clear respect for classic dishes, and that is not easy to pull off. The kitchen hits the right notes without overcomplicating things. The cioppino stood out in particular, a humble yet elegant seafood broth I have only ever tried in San Francisco, the birthplace of the dish. The resemblance was remarkable, and the quality of the ingredients was outstanding. I felt the same attention in the chowder and even in the cocktails, where every spice and component seems thoughtfully chosen to deliver a specific experience. Care and attention to detail This one is easy to notice. The owner is present, engaged, and clearly invested. You can tell when someone genuinely cares and takes pride in what they are doing, without big fuss or trying to be something they are not. That care carries through the room, the bar, and the overall atmosphere. Comfortable, polished, and welcoming. Point of improvement One small area where the experience could be elevated even further is service etiquette. Simple refinements, such as how drinks are poured or placed on the table, could enhance the customer experience and better match the level of care coming from the kitchen. These are small, easy-to-train details, but they make a noticeable difference. Overall, this is a hidden gem in Abbotsford that deserves to be discovered. A place that earns your trust quietly and keeps you coming back for all the right reasons.

We felt like we were really imposing on her. When we asked to see a menu. She brought menus over, slapped them on the table without any comment and left us sitting for a good 15 minutes before she came back to take our order. I didn't get her name but she had shoulder length black hair. I think she was nearing the end of her shift because service from another waitress improved when our food was brought out and we paid the bill. The food is considerably better than your standard pub food. I had the prime rib special with baked potato. I was pleasantly surprised that it was cooked exactly as I had requested - medium rare. It came with au jus and baked potato and was exceptional value for just under $12.00. My husband had a salad and chicken wings. The wings were very tasty, very moist and they were nice and plump, not the shrivelled up wings that many pubs seem to serve. However, when my husband asked if he could mix his wings and have 2 different kinds our initial waitress rudely told him this was not possible. Such an imposition! I don't know why this was such an impossible task as it has never been an issue before when we dine out. My husband decided not to make an issue out of it. It's a good thing the food was good. We would definitely return. I would just hope we could avoid our original rude waitress.

The menu is limited, there is the typical starters, hand heads, pastas, and a variety of meats and 3 desserts. But although the menu says it has options for vegetarian or vegans, it was the subtraction of a sauce or component of the dish not a substitution. It would be great to see more dishes with vegan options in mind. We tried the fried cauliflower, as it is vegetarian friendly and Gf. It is a non spicy cauliflower with light seasoning served with Tzatziki. It is an alternative to calamari, but it could use a spicy dip! Then we ordered the beyond meat burger which was okay, the bun is a little too big for the patty but it was okay. And we also got the Beef Burger, with a gf bun which was a good bun option. The Other Place is a beautiful restaurant that has a lot of potential. I would be amazing to see some bold flavours to expand on what is already there.

Giving two stars as some of the food was Really good but the other item was a big disappointment,…read moreso it was the response from the management. On DoorDash - we chose to order from this place over other chain restaurants to support our local businesses and what We got was an outstanding Sirloin steak sandwich with truffle fries. And a Burnt -to-hell- Tennessee Original chicken sandwich. So I decided to phone the manager and he kindly offered to amend the mistake by giving me another sandwich but only if I could go to the restaurant and pick it up. I asked if there was any other solutions and o can't drive right now and all I got was a 'we are so sorry' when I ask if he was letting me eat that sandwich he said 'I'm sorry but yes, we are fairly new in the business and we are trying to figure things Out' . Then, trying to get what I paid for I ask for credit or a refund and he said ' the next time you come to the restaurant mention the incident and we'll make sure we got that fixed for you' - HOLD on ! - Really? The next time I come to the restaurant??? Excuse me sir but I don't think I'm ready to set foot on a place like this after this unfortunate first experience. And I can keep going ... He didn't mind to ask for my name, Or contact info, nor to offering his contact or a reference for a future follow up with my complaint. Then I asked for the number of the Owner and he said the owner will be really busy anyways. So I just got his name . But not a way to contact him. C'mon guys! Realize you're in the HOSPITALITY business not only in the food business. If you want people to consider your in the future, CARE about them and listen to them.
