We ordered a ton of food. I'm a sucker for the cheeseballs but it is definitely an acquired taste. It is almost essentially just cheese in a pastry ball. We tried the rose rice cakes. They weren't overwhelming spicy, but there was still a nice kick of spice in it. The highlight of the chicken for me was definitely the pa dak. All of them were very delicious overall and left my friends satisfied. All in all, I can't complain about the food here. It provides exactly what you want in terms of Korean fries chicken.

My daughter got the Butter Chicken Poutine which was very good. My friend got the Poutine Burger which is NOT on the menu in the restaurant but they made it. He had to ask for extra gravy as there wasn't much on it. It was good but next time I'm trying the Butter Chicken burger. My daughter also got a mango milkshake that was yummy and my friend tried a chocolate milkshake which wasn't very chocolatey.

Drove by this place last weekend and made it a point to stop by and try out their fried chicken…read more Major Joy blends everyone's favourite comfort food with dry rubs and sauces that can take your craving to the next level. With flavours like tandoori, lemon pepper, and major hot... it was difficult to decide which flavours I would try in my four piece meal. I ultimately chose the original flavour to get a sense of what the chicken tastes like and a couple pieces of tandoori, cuz I friggin' love tandoori. The chicken itself was moist and flavourful. The pieces weren't very big, but acceptable in size. The original batter was crunchy, but definitely could use something else to make it better. That's where the dry rub of tandoori seasoning came in. The mix of spices went really well with the crunch of the batter and juicy chicken. Conclusion? You don't have to go with the big chains for some decent fried chicken in Surrey. Major Joy is a legit option and I'm going to have to try their butter chicken poutine and chicken sandwiches next time!

What I could see of the place was very tidy. They had some lunch specials on that didn't seem that much better than the regular menu I don't think. The chicken and fries were fresh but took about 10 min. I prefer the dark meat so found the white meat parts a bit dry but the meals come with gravy. They were very generous with the fries as well and come in these cute brown pizza boxes. The staff was courtesy. I'd revisit if I were in the area.

The tenders were really scrumptious and crunchy in texture, although I would have liked them more in bigger portions. I would definitely come back to Brownies to try their other menu choices.

The inside is pretty modern. Staff are friendly and chatty. What sets this place apart is their special fried chicken. Most other places just dump some random sauce out of the bottle, but for the special flavours here, there is actually some substance to the sauce. For the Gangnam style, the sauce contains actual pieces of sauteed onions and jalapenos. This was super delicious. Special mention. Definitely worth the slight premium. Buddy and I also had the Hot Spicy one. The menu shows 4 chili peppers (supposedly super spicy), but it wasn't that spicy at all. There was a nice bit of heat for sure, but was nowhere near the intensity for melting one's face off. In other words, do not expect anything like hot wings at a western pub. This flavour is also recommended. I would say this is my new favourite KFC. I would even put it above my usual go-to place (350F). We have a new winner. Highly recommended.
