My coworker mentioned that this place has really good chicken so I had to try it. This is apparently a chain and my friend told me there is one on Main St. And Robson st. I was greeted promptly and was seated quickly. This is a small restaurant with a large kitchen. If my memory serves me, I believe this used to be a breakfast place and an Indian restaurant many years ago. Regardless I am glad that this BBQ place is here. What I found strange is that when I think of BBQ chicken, I think of chicken grilled on the BBQ or BBQ sauced chicken. What I found was that place serves very good deep fried and breaded chicken. Today was Wednesday and they had their wing special- 7 wings for $7. Normal price is $12. So I got both the original and spicy version. The original wings come with a side of salt and pepper and you can season to taste. Out of the two I preferred the spicy wings as they had more flavor. My friends ordered the cheesling and their special fries. The cheeslings were AMAZING! Overall I am happy with my experience here. The only hiccup was my friend ordered a burger and his original sandwich which was delivered was wrong. My friend looked at the plate and asked our server 3 times if they were sure this was the right order and the server said yes. After the server went to the kitchen he brought out another sandwich and apologized and said my friends burger was the new burger. Initially the server gave the wrong sandwich to my friend as it was already half devoured. Then he went to the kitchen and came back and asked for the half eaten sandwich back which I found odd. But other than that, a Kokanee is $6. Cans of pop are $2.95. The restaurant is nice and clean. I would recommend coming back for the wings and if you want to make your trip worth it, order the cheeslings even if there is no deal on them. They are that good.

It's great to have a Korean fried chicken restaurant in the Heights area that also offers delicious appetizers, snacks and korean style dishes. Our group of 4 ordered their fried chicken in two flavours (golden fried and secret sauce), cheeseling fries, assorted cheese balls, and Korean rice cakes. I preferred the golden fried chicken. Enjoyed all the dishes and would come back again.
