    Jajjangmyeon and spicy calamari noodles

Very good! Had to come here again to try out some of the soju flavours that I've never had! I got the mango and strawberry flavours. Ps post a google review or tag them in your story for a free drink (blue lemonade). Anyways, the mango tasted alright. It was a fake mango flavour - something like mango candy. The strawberry I felt was a bit better and went down easier. Also the noodles are only 5.99! The spicy calamari noodles were good! The noodle texture was chewy and springy. The dish is served cold which was nice to balance out the spiciness. The Jajjangmyeon was good too. Noodle texture was perfect and I liked that they have large pieces pork mixed into it! The chicken was very good! Not what I was expecting. The glazing was thick but the chicken was still crispy. Only thing was that I ordered the honey garlic flavour but I couldn't really taste any garlic much. Not a big problem thought because it was still tasty!

Jjangmyeon is really good - one of the best with good price. Plenty of seating too. Chicken portion is huge!

me and my boyfriend's favorite Korean restaurant for affordable and delicious food. Jeong (?) and the younger server are always so friendly and accommodating.

We were fortunate enough to snag a tiny one by the pool tables but it wasn't big enough for food and drinks so we ended up moving before ordering food. We shared a small plate of nachos and a chicken wrap with fries. I don't recommend the guacamole, as it wasn't very fresh and just had a weird texture. The food was very average in my opinion. At least they have a decent beer list. They had karaoke and there was a steady stream of people waiting to take their turn on the microphone. Those folks were much braver than me, that's for sure. I love that they still have pull tab machines, those are always going to take some of my money, if for nothing else but the nostalgia. I ended up winning a few bucks, so that added to the overall positive experience. Service was ok - there seemed to be a bit of confusion over who our server was, but once that was resolved, we had no issues. It was fairly loud but not so much that we couldn't still carry on a conversation. I'd probably go back, because there are not too many places in the area that still have a pool table.

I thought, "There has got to be a pub nearby which will by default carry that game, right?" Well, yes, that's technically correct, although it took me about a two kilometer walk from the Element Vancouver to find one. Once there, I was a tad surprised the place wasn't hopping - maybe a dozen or so other patrons. Which was too bad, because the service was friendly, the beer hit the spot, and my veggie burger kept me going through the rest of the night. Would return the next time I visit the area.

There's free parking outside, just register your license plate when you enter the building. I went with 2 other friends on a Saturday night. The place was pretty full but we got lucky and only had wait a few minutes for a table. It was decently loud inside but it was still easy to have a conversation. The waitress we got was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items. I'm also super envious of her memory because there's no way I can remember who had which drink without writing it down for so many tables throughout the night!!! My friend also asked for a drink recommendation for the last round and she gave a great one. There's a lot of selection for drinks, as well as food. I really like their shared plates of finger food like tater tots and onion rings. My fish and chips were also very good. The table beside us ordered nachos and it looked huge and very delicious.

Aside from the time warp location, the food is easily 4*s, and honestly, I'd say it's better than White Spot as a comparable. The clubhouse sandwich contained actual turkey breast, not the deli turkey breast slices a lot of places use. That's an easy win right there. Very reasonable pricing to boot! It's basically a sports bar/pub grub menu set up. Pool tables as well. Lighting is on the darker side, with friendly and courteous service. They chat with you since they're curious as to how you know about the place. It's definitely not on too many peoples' radar for sure. They seem to like their hockey, as there are a couple of jerseys hanging. Guy Lafleur, Paul Henderson's autographed jersey from the Summit Series 1972, and a couple of others. Located in the basement of the Lougheed Village Mall, which is literally the Land that Time Forgot. I'm not exaggerating. Come and have a look for yourself. Free validated parking if you eat here. Recommend that you go for a stroll in the upper and lower levels and the courtyard whilst you're here. Maybe come in the evening during Halloween. You won't need to spook yourself out at a graveyard. This mall will suffice you plenty.
