I have to say their chicken are quite impressive. B and I ordered dinner through UberEats. Please note that the prices on Uber is $2 more for each item. We ordered 2 extra sauce, a rice, one honey & garlic fried chicken, one spicy mala fried chicken and one spicy mala hot chicken over rice bowl. The total of the dinner plus tip and taxes was around $70. Luckily we had a 30% off on UberEats. It was definitely pricy to order on the app. Their chicken was really crispy and the sauce really sticks to their chicken. The rice bowl was a bit spicy and the chicken was not as crispy as their fried chicken. Portion size for the rice bowl was quite big. Note that bb.q Chicken & Pub is a franchise from Korea. So it is pretty legit. Their fried chicken was a bit more expensive compared to its competitor but I would say it is definitely worth giving them a try. We will be back but probably next time, we will eat in the restaurant and not order take out from UberEats.

Chicken Crispness on point We got the Boneless chicken in (Galbi Q, Soy Garlic and Black Pepper) No regrets for any of them! Service was also nice since most orders were for takeout so there was no one in store.

Well hot dam... When I wanna eat korean fried chicken like I ate korean fried chicken in korea... I COME HERE. This might be the best korean fried chicken spot I've tried here. Super crunchy delicious you just want to keep eating more and more. We introduced my dad to bbq chicken and now he literally eats it once a week. I think he's their best customer at this point lol he's crazy We love the original & soy but recently I tried the cheese ling and I am freaken hooked on that cheese one. The cheese one is the bomb.

I was super ecstatic to see that this global fried chicken chain opened up in Surrey! I've enjoyed my experience at the Coquitlam location before and it's no exception at this new location. My favourite is the golden fried chicken - the flavour is phenomenal. There's a large variety of flavours to choose from, definitely worth trying each at least once!

During covid, bb.q chicken is currently only doing takeout. We tried to call ahead of time to order a few times but after not having anyone pick up, we decided to just go to the restaurant to order. On a Friday night, the wait for food was a little over an hour. I might decide to order via one of the delivery apps next time but in general I don't like to do that as the apps usually take a large cut when it could be going directly to the restaurant. We ordered a small of the soy garlic and the honey garlic and both were quite tasty. Unlike other Korean fried chicken places, I did wish they offered a boneless option. Overall, not bad.

I saw this Fried Chicken while watching Crash Landing On You. It made me drool each time. When I found out it was in Surrey we just had to check it out and see if it is as good as the K Drama portrayed it. And yes it was. We ordered their Original Fried Chicken and the Sweet and Spicy flavour. Their fries are also awesome. Great place, friendly staff, and awesome chicken. We will surely be back!

Backyard patio is ready for the summer. On today's menu, we have crispy juicy delicious fried chicken! All 3 flavours were delicious!

Soy Garlic Chicken, Galbi Q Chicken, Cheese Balls, fries, Spicy Dukk Bokki - absolutely delicious!

There's a reason BBQ Chicken is the #1 fried chicken chain in Korea. There's something about it that just stands out among the rest of the Korean fried chicken joints. Now that they have these BBQ Chicken restaurants opening up and not just at HMart, there's a larger selection of options to try and I'm here for it! We ordered the Soy Garlic Chicken, the Galbi Q Chicken, fries (with your choice of dipping sauce - we chose their secret sauce, which turned out to be yangyum sauce, the sauce that is used in their Secret Sauced Chicken), Spicy Dukk Bokki, and their famous Cheese Balls. Everything was absolutely delicious! Both types of chicken were so tasty and well sauced while still maintaining their crispness. I wouldn't hesitate to order either of them again. The must get dish, however, are the Cheese Balls. There's a reason why they're so popular in Korea and I'm so glad BBQ Chicken has them. They're a scrumptious mixture of sweet and salty, what with the sweet rice cake dough and cream cheese filling. I will get these every time! The fries and dukk bokki were good, too - although just note that the latter is quite spicy. All in all, I'll definitely be back for some more mouthwatering Korean fried chicken! Just a heads up that if you happen to look at their Uber Eats menu and see the combos that are offered there (Combo A, B, C), just know that they're only offered for Uber Eats and not if you order over the phone or in person. That's a bit of a bummer, but the lady on the phone was saying that the portions are smaller for the combos anyway rather than if you ordered each dish separately. Highly recommend checking this place out if you love Korean fried chicken!

Portion for a full order is mediocre! Flavour is there but you would have to settle in so little for what you paid for! Too bad

Really friendly and efficient service, large portion on the bibimbap, rich flavourful seolleongtang! Delicious pumpkin soup on the house to start was a pleasant surprise. While the beef tartare was a common highlight among reviews, it didn't seem to deliver a wow factor other than being insta-pic worthy. However, this was an extremely solid bibimbap - satisfying, tasty, and generously topped. Happy with our choices.

This place, tucked away just 5 minutes' driving distance from Coquitlam Centre, is clearly beloved by the local Korean community. The portion sizes are generous. They are perfect for sharing with family or friends. We saw many families and younger groups dining in, which gave it a cozy, homey vibe. We can taste the love and comfort in every bite. Here's what we ordered: * Beef Tartare Bibimbap - Not your typical bibimbap! The raw beef was beautifully seasoned and full of flavour. This was hands down our favourite dish! * Naengmyeon - Cold noodles in a super refreshing broth. Perfectly chewy with a balanced, savoury tang. A must-have on a hot day. * Japchae - Excellent portion, great price. The noodles were springy and not greasy at all--just the right balance of flavour. Great value, quality ingredients, and authentic flavours--Hansol is definitely going on our go-to list whenever we're craving comforting Korean food. We are highly recommend it for students, families, or anyone who loves real Korean cooking! Food: 5/5 Must Try! Service: 5/5 Kids: 4/5 Yay! Price: $30-$40 each person (dinner) Presentation: 3/5 Parking: 4/5 Tips: * Free refillable banchan (side dishes) * Must-try: naengmyeon (cold noodles) * Hidden gem: beef tartare bibimbap-flavourful and beautifully presented. * Limited seating - expect wait during peak hours * Tasty, affordable, and generous portions Would I Return: Yes ‍

Our party of six waited over an hour to be seated. If my mother hadn't spoken up, we likely would have waited even longer. Although reservations are not accepted, guests are placed on a waitlist upon arrival. Our name was clearly on the queue, but not in Korean and while I initially understood smaller parties of two or four being seated ahead of us based on table availability, concerns arose when another party of six--who was behind us in line (name was written in Korean--was seated before us. This was deeply frustrating, as we were next in line for a table that could accommodate six people. When we raised the issue, the hostess admitted it was a mistake, yet still chose to seat the other group first. They were 5th in the queue. Despite our complaint, there was no sincere apology, and we were forced to wait an additional 10 minutes while they set up another table. The entire situation left us feeling unfairly treated and discriminated against. As loyal customers who regularly spend over $300 per visit ordering family combos, extra dishes, drinks, and more, this was incredibly disappointing. Sadly, we will not be returning. There are many other restaurants that treat their customers with fairness, respect, and appreciation.
