This Korean restaurant offers wonderful entrees at low prices. Their selection of side dishes are delicious (no free refills though). Their ingredients are fresh and the flavors are rich. However, since they only had two servers working when we visited, service was rather slow. The inside is that of a medium sized restaurant and seats about 30 people.

Food was delicious. Flounder was fried nicely, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Calm Kalguksu broth was sweat and flavourful. Service was also really friendly

Appitizer seafood pancake delicious, crispy light batter filled with lots of seafood & greens with dipping sauce.

My husband & I made another trip across the border to Yory's again to have dinner at our favorite Korean restaurant & as usual was not disappointed, food was fabulous everything we ordered tasted wonderful & full of flavor. The Chef is a trained professional Chef & you can see that by the way she plates all her food dishes and seasoned extremely well and full of flavor. We're always greeted with a smile from her staff and everyone is so friendly and accommodating and checks on us often to make sure everything is ok and have what we need. We tried several different dishes and all of them delicious and very generous portions. If you're looking for delicious Korean food you've got to give Yory a try you won't be disappointed the food is so good & we've never been disappointed with anything we've had there so far & plan to continue to go there often to satisfy our desires for Korean food because we can't find anything here in the States that compares to the deliciousness, quantity & quality of food we get at Yory's.

I found Yory on Google map and was taken with the Hansang on the menu. So I learnt that Hansang means "table full of food" in Korean. I guess it's similar to Rijsttafel in Dutch (rice table). They limit the Hansang to 15 per day, so you gotta come here early if you want to try it. There's also a "birthday" Hansang which requires at least 24 hour notice. You'll also need min 2 order of that. It has more premium dishes like galbi. And no, anyone can order that, not necessarily on your birthday itself. We had the kimchi jigae Hansang. I had it with fried chicken and my friend had the pork cutlet. Both were good. There were 10 items for the Hansang. Great way to try a bit of everything. Great price too. They range from $19.95 to $23.95. Birthday Hansang is $35.95. The menu is quite extensive and I saw fried flounder and mackerel set which I would love to try. The food was tasty and the service ok. We were given a hot flask of tea so we could top up the tea ourselves. Parking is easy with the pretty big lot out front. Park away from the restaurant as those spots are 30-60 mins. Other spots are 3 hours.

Awesome service for a busy new restaurant. Tried the gogi guksu. Meat was tender with a flavoursome broth. Decent portion sizes and prices. Restaurant is clean and spacious. The menu has a lot of variety for vegetarians and meat eaters.

Truly is a hidden gem! The flounder is HUGE and delicious! The kimchi fried chicken and bulgogi japchae mouth watering. The tables were a bit too small but the staff was very accommodating. Prices are so good I will definitely come back for more!

Hansol Korean - Beef Tartare Bibimbap

We think this is where Koreans eat when they're not cooking at home!…read more We discovered Hansol 한솔 Korean Restaurant after seeing so many rave reviews. This place, tucked away just 5 minutes' driving distance from Coquitlam Centre, is clearly beloved by the local Korean community. The portion sizes are generous. They are perfect for sharing with family or friends. We saw many families and younger groups dining in, which gave it a cozy, homey vibe. We can taste the love and comfort in every bite. Here's what we ordered: * Beef Tartare Bibimbap - Not your typical bibimbap! The raw beef was beautifully seasoned and full of flavour. This was hands down our favourite dish! * Naengmyeon - Cold noodles in a super refreshing broth. Perfectly chewy with a balanced, savoury tang. A must-have on a hot day. * Japchae - Excellent portion, great price. The noodles were springy and not greasy at all--just the right balance of flavour. Great value, quality ingredients, and authentic flavours--Hansol is definitely going on our go-to list whenever we're craving comforting Korean food. We are highly recommend it for students, families, or anyone who loves real Korean cooking! Food: 5/5 Must Try! Service: 5/5 Kids: 4/5 Yay! Price: $30-$40 each person (dinner) Presentation: 3/5 Parking: 4/5 Tips: * Free refillable banchan (side dishes) * Must-try: naengmyeon (cold noodles) * Hidden gem: beef tartare bibimbap-flavourful and beautifully presented. * Limited seating - expect wait during peak hours * Tasty, affordable, and generous portions Would I Return: Yes ‍

I found this restaurant through an IG foodie's recommendation. This restaurant is always very busy,…read moreand on weekends, there is always a lineup. We ordered short rib BBQ, Beef tartare Bibimbap, and original-flavor deep-fried chicken wings. Beef tartare Bibimbap was served in a hot stone bowl with a variety of vegetables on top of the rice. The gochujang sauce was served separately, allowing us to adjust the spiciness to our preference. It was a pretty good dish. The short rib BBQ was very tender and nicely seasoned. It was slightly on the sweeter side, very delicious. I will definitely order it again. The original flavor deep-fried chicken wings were served fresh and hot. They were incredibly crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside--very good! Next time, I should order them with a flavored seasoning, as I already knew the original version was cooked with less saltiness, meant to be paired with a sauce. Overall, I really like this restaurant. The food tasted good, and the most notable point was the reasonable price! It was a very good deal, and it has now become one of my regular go-to places.

Our party of six waited over an hour to be seated. If my mother hadn't spoken up, we likely would have waited even longer. Although reservations are not accepted, guests are placed on a waitlist upon arrival. Our name was clearly on the queue, but not in Korean and while I initially understood smaller parties of two or four being seated ahead of us based on table availability, concerns arose when another party of six--who was behind us in line (name was written in Korean--was seated before us. This was deeply frustrating, as we were next in line for a table that could accommodate six people. When we raised the issue, the hostess admitted it was a mistake, yet still chose to seat the other group first. They were 5th in the queue. Despite our complaint, there was no sincere apology, and we were forced to wait an additional 10 minutes while they set up another table. The entire situation left us feeling unfairly treated and discriminated against. As loyal customers who regularly spend over $300 per visit ordering family combos, extra dishes, drinks, and more, this was incredibly disappointing. Sadly, we will not be returning. There are many other restaurants that treat their customers with fairness, respect, and appreciation.

This Korean Restaurant came with a high recommendation from our Host's friend while visiting BC…read more Our Host was not familiar with Korean food and left the ordering up to me for everyone to enjoy! They had a great variety, I ordered the Spicy Tofu Soup, LA Kalbi, Japchae, and Bossom to share. Others ordered individual Bibimbaps that came with several garnishes. Loved that they served complementary tea. It wasn't too long that our order was brought one by one, served hot and delicious! Our Host was very impressed and now knows what to order for next time. Place was clean, fast service. Special shout out to Audrey and Olivia for a wonderful dining experience! Highly recommend if ever in the Langley area!

We got the army stew (Budae jjigae) to share plus an order of Korean fried chicken. The staff recommended that when we asked what RO order for an appetizer or side. She said the fried chicken is the popular item. The soy garlic chicken was delicious. I like the army stew which is a guilty pleasure as it contains mostly processed meat like spam and sausage and a slice of American cheese and instant noodle. My friend never tried it before and while she liked the soup, she didn't like the processed stuff. She mostly had the tofu and rice cakes in there. The place was quite busy when we we were there on a Tuesday night. I guess it is a popular spot in the area. Parking is available out front.
