Very easy to get to, great parking Reasonably priced, crispy chicken. Decent service. The only thing is menu isn't that big. They got rice wine but no sweet soju. It feels a bit more like a cafeteria than a bar/izakaiya. But other than that. Great option if you are craving Korean chicken. Food 9 service 8 ambiance 8 value 8.5

New Richmond bb.q location! I first tried this Korean fried chicken chain a few years ago after watching the cast of Crash Landing on You devour the golden pieces on the show. When the plates of crispy fried goodness appeared on-screen, it was just too much; I *had* to have some... tout de suite! At the time, the only stand-alone bb.q I knew of in the area was the North Road location in Coquitlam (most of the others were operating inside H Mart supermarket locations). I remember rushing there after watching the show and ordering my own plates of crunchy morsels to get my fix. That first bb.q visit was extremely satisfying, and this Richmond location upheld the initial experience quite well. I only ordered two flavours here since I was between meals, but the chicken was just as crispy and flavourful as before. The employees were extremely nice and welcoming. There is ample parking in the lot behind the restaurant, and they are currently open until midnight every day, woo! Midnight Korean fried chicken runs FTW! Consistency is extremely important for any restaurant chain, so I'm glad this location was on par with my previous visits. Will definitely be back, next time with more tummy room!

Clean restaurant with ample space. The hostess was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. The cheesling fries were recommended and did not disappoint! My favourite was the Lemon Salad Chicken, it was flavourful and chicken was cooked so well, tender and juicy!

Great food. Large portions. We got the 3 orders of boneless wings and they all came out piping hot and full of intense flavor. We also ordered the bbq chicken over rice, It came out in nice dish and was more than enough food for a hungry pre teen. I will definitely come back when in vancouve

BB.Q Chicken serves a variety of healthy, flavourful dishes that leave you feeling full and satisfied. My party and I tried a number of different menu items to kick off their new summer brunch menu lunch, which included croffles, pizza, and sandwiches. These had chicken, seafood, and greens so you weren't left feeling overly full and greasy, but rather refreshed! Service was very prompt and our server explained each item to us as they came out, and all items came out in a very timely manner. The ambiance was casual and no-frills, which was perfect for the hot summer night that we chose to dine in. I'd love to come back and try some of their pure Korean Fried Chicken menu items, as that seems to be their specialty.

No frills and worth the hype!…read more Our family of six arrived at 12 pm on a Tuesday. We waited approximately 25 minutes which is not bad at all considering how popular this small restaurant is. My mom is vegetarian and my girls had a wonton noodle soup lunch at another spot down the street. So we ordered a few things mainly for my dad, husband and myself: 1) Platter with barbecue pork and chicken (雙拼叉燒香油雞) 2) Half-order of roast duck (半隻脆皮燒鴨) 3) late of roast pork (燒肉) 4) Bowl of rice (一碗米飯) We cleared everything. The meats were juicy, tender, and flavorful. My girls are usually indifferent to Cantonese barbecued meats but they tried it and enjoyed everything as well. This is definitely a place to repeat if and when we revisit Vancouver.

They ran out of duck but do not fret because the soya chicken is where it's at. The soya chicken is incredibly tender, even the breast meat is tender. Secondly, it's perfectly marinated and if you dab a little of their homemade soy sauce, it's even better. Eat this with rice and you'll never want another meal in your life. This was easily our favorite dish for the place. Bbq pork and crispy pork are both spot on as well. They give generous and juicy cuts and the crispy pork is, well, crispy. The skin is a nice crunch and the meat is juicy, what more could you ask for? I still salivate and dream of the meat here and I wish we had something like this back in LA cause I don't know who else would make soy chicken as good as here. Cash only so come prepared! If you're a US tourist, they take USD as well but canadian is still the better deal.

Their business is situated in a busy mall and it's more of a take out place vs a sit down restaurant. They also operate as a butcher shop. The workers here are really friendly and I never have issues ordering for someone who doesn't speak Cantonese/Mandarin. I rotate between ordering their roasted pork, soy chicken, and steamed chicken. All are amazing, especially the steamed chicken!! I ordered this by mistake once and didn't realize something so simple could be so delicious. The ginger scallion sauce they provide with it is so good. Everything always tastes fresh. Prices are great too, especially with the US to CAN conversion. Highly recommended!

Visiting Richmond while…read morein Vancouver was a must, HK style BBQ was a necessity, and Parker Place had all the hallmarks of a hit, so we set a course and were not disappointed. Strolling up, there was a line. Good sign. The meats in the window were glistening and dripping delicious juices. Through the corner of the glass you could see the meat carver chopping each order and placing it in containers with their signature sauce. We waited a short time and were greeted at the counter. Almost every customer before us was Chinese and I'd watched the staff speak with them in both Mandarin and Cantonese, but both employees spoke to us in English (sincerely appreciated). We ordered a small amount of fatty and lean char siu and some roast duck, which he promptly selected from the window and chopped to order. The fatty was a bit much for me, but the lean char siu was absolutely delicious, and the duck had a nice crispy skin and juicy meat, all of which was delicious too. The sauce took up to the next level. IDK what it is about the soy served with bbq but it's either infused with the seasonings of the meat or the two combine in your mouth to make magic. Parker Place is a solid stop for this type of cuisine and a good starting point for exploring it in Richmond. I look forward to comparing them all over future visits.

Every item we ordered was well prepared and true to the HK flavors you'd expect -- nothing overly salty or greasy, just balanced and satisfying. We tried half a BBQ duck and the three-meat combo with rice, and both were excellent. The staff were friendly and courteous, and I especially appreciated how generous they were with sauces -- a small detail that goes a long way. If there's one area for improvement, it would be the food temperature. Nothing came out piping hot, which left me wondering if the dishes had been sitting out for a bit -- or perhaps the restaurant just doesn't see as much volume during off-peak hours. It wasn't a dealbreaker, but hotter plates would elevate the experience. Pricing was very reasonable, especially with their ongoing specials, making it an easy choice for a casual meal that delivers on flavor and value. Despite the quiet setting, Yummy BBQ deserves more attention -- it's a solid spot for classic HK BBQ done right.

The staff members are welcoming. The vibe is very similar to those in HK. The roasted duck leg is very delicious and juicy. Though it's already close to the end of the business hours but it was still tasty with the plum sauce. Portion is large. Definitely I will try their BbQ pork and chicken in my next visit! We intended on getting the à la carte menu at first but realized that based on how many big eaters we had, it was more bang for our buck with the all you can eat menu. We chose the lowest tier of all you can eat and there were some people who preferred seafood; even if you upgraded to the highest tier the selection in our opinion, didn't get drastically better that it was "worth it". We had a party of six and was seated at a long table with a divider. When we got to our seat, the staff had placed the divider at exactly the table edges connecting the two stove but it was so squishy and uncomfortable for 6 people that we had to move the divider over a little. There's a time limit for all you can eat however with one stove and us not knowing that the vegetables came raw and in full foiled packages, it took a long time to grill anything. Our waitress came over many many times to remind us about the time limit and even then... we were well over our time limit even though we only put in two rounds of food. One stove shared between six people was awful. It's not like our stove could cook any faster even if the waitress rushed us. We were even ending the meal with s'mores and the waitress couldn't wait any longer and brought over the bill. We had to put down our s'mores stick to pay the bill so she could leave us alone to finish the meal... the restaurant was not busy, there were plenty of empty tables and there was no one waiting in the lobby. Did not appreciate the service here. Overall, food was greasy and not memorable (as I just tried a different grilled meat spot a few days prior). The portions were weird. Most of the dishes were severely under portioned so we made sure to up our portions for round two. Our time was up before we could even put in our final round three order. The staff also didn't respect some of the items. We put in ice cream on the first order as people wanted to use it as a grease palate cleanser and it was only when we followed up with the waitress did they say "oh we thought it should be served at the end of the meal instead since it's a dessert". Perhaps following the orders of what customers mark off would help with better customer service....

Prime kalbi short rib was our favorite, although yaki shabu was a close second. The shoyu chicken thighs were also delicious. I would definitely order the garlic chicken noodles again! The beef tongue is also not as tender as I remember it being in the past. The herb and garlic butter for the broccoli was a solid flavor enhancer. The gyu-sushi was kind of a disappointment - it was like a roast beef slice on rice with some seasoning. Unfortunately, the place didn't look well cleaned and maintained. There were some spots on the booth we were shown to. Service was standard.

There are different tiers for the AYCE, we just selected the Classic ($36.99/person, Mon-Thur all day; Fri-Sat 11am-4pm). For the hot pot, we just go up to the open refrigeration and select our meats and vegetables, and place in the metal pot. We bring the metal pot to the bar/front counter and select a choice of soup. I tried the bone broth (which was just ok) and the tom yum (which was good). The hot pot would be delivered to our table when done. Note, for those we don't want the BBQ meats, they do have a "Magic Pot Special" (Mon-Fri, 11am-4pm) for $25.99/person. For the BBQ meats, we select from our choices and was brought to our table cooked and placed on the hot plate to keep warm. The chicken and beef were excellent and not dry. Salads and other cooked food at the front counter also included. There is free parking out front. The décor is from the old ACB restaurant which brought fond memories from 30 years ago! Restaurant was clean and the neon decoration added a touch of casual/fun atmosphere . Would definitely come back.
