I was debating between this and AYCE $19.95 deal. I got lunch combo $12.99 since I might overeat from AYCE. I asked the server for lunch combo and radish pickles. And choose cheese sprinkles with fries. Meat was tender and juicy. Batter was light, just the way it should be. Cheese sprinkle wasn't my usual go to so the flavour was okay. Kids might like it. Not spicy just cheesy and little sweet. Fries were perfect like ones from Costco food court. I'll never order this flavour and won't recommend this at all. The taste reminds me of Cheetos. Loved the quality and portions for the price. I can never find this price at Chicko and any other Korean fried chicken places. Server was fantastic, she apologized about forgetting to bring radish. It's a small restaurant so takeout is recommended! Great place to watch World Cup!

They offer 8 different flavours, our favourites were the coco lime, chicken cloud and spicy Nashville! Each piece was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. You're telling me 7 pieces are $28 normally?? I'm very sure they skimp out on their uber eat deals because the receipt doesn't say 2 medium size but instead 2 "PRM" which I assume is promotion. I was very disappointed with the size. With other Korean fried chicken places the medium sizes are ~$22-25 and their family sizes are ~$30-35, with much more chicken than NeNe's supposedly $56 worth of chicken. The chicken itself is very juicy. The red snowing is good but much spicier than expected. I like the red mayo that goes with it. Although it is also labelled red, the mayo isnt spicy and pairs well with the red snowing.

This is truly a fried chicken place as fried chicken is the only entree item on menu. We ordered both bone in and boneless in original, snowing chili and snowing cheese flavors. The cheese one had a flavor close to white cheddar popcorn. Tasted great but after two pieces, I had enough. I ate more of the original and snowing chili ones. The spicy flavor invited us to eat more, . The skins were crispy and the meat itself was moist and flavorful. However, besides the flavor, I don't feel they are any different from KFC. There was only two booths that can seat 6 persons max each. So, better plan on takeout than eat-in.

Update: you know it's good when you can't WAIT to go back to try the other menu items... So you go…read moreback the day after you visited :) This time I came with a bigger appetite and someone else with a bigger appetite. We tried the fried dumplings , pork bone soup and the Korean fried chicken ( garlic soy flavour ) Again, the side dishes were very tasty and I had to ask for another serving of the braised potatoes. The pork bone soup was rich in flavour and quite a bit of meat. Perfect for the colder weather. When we packed this to go, it's the first time I had a restaurant use a machine to put a plastic seal on it ! ( I originally thought they just forgot to give me a lid for my container hahah). The fried dumplings were presented nicely , but weren't anything special but still tasty and crispy. The garlic soy fried chicken was amazing ! I enjoyed the tteokbokki sprinkle into the mix. The sauce flavour was the perfect amount of sweetness to saltiness. Everything was evenly coated. And I enjoyed that the pieces of chicken were small pieces , this way the crispy batter covers a better ratio of chicken rather than those huge pieces you get and once you eat the crunchy skin it's just chicken. This time we came at peak meal time at 730pm on a Sunday night and had to wait about 30 min for a seat. All in all, would still come back in a heartbeat.

The potato was the star of the show and perfectly soft and just the right amount of flavoring and slight sweetness. The seaweed Was well seasoned and slightly vinegary to help cut any of the heavy feeling of the broths we ordered. The seollungtang was delicious! THey season it beforehand which I have not experienced before, but they season it well. The broth was rich and the meat was soft. It also comes with glass noodles which has a great chewy texture. The galbitang was just okay. It didn't taste like the usual one I eat, and the galbi had a strange texture. I wonder if it was frozen and then cooked. And it had a slightly unpleasant taste to it-- in Korean it's " 고기 잡내가 나요" -- like an unpleasant meaty/gamey taste. I also found a hair in the broth but it was towards the bottom when I are most of it. Overall, I would come back for the selongtang!
