Jollibee. Those who know will know it's crazy busy all the time. We got here at the peak of the dinner rush around 6+ pm on a weeknight. The line to order was not long but the line to pick up food was super long. Not sure why buzzers were not given now after placing the orders. So there was a crowd waiting at one side trying to hear your name and/or number being called. There was no electronic board indicating order numbers too. At the line to place order, others who either placed orders online or were food delivery drivers crowded at the head of line making it quite messy to know where the actual line is. You need to open your eyes wide and really pay attention. So my friend ordered first. I ordered after that. He got his food after about 20-30 mins. I went to wait at the pick up area expecting my food to be ready soon. Nooooo. My name/number was not called and I saw the staff packing food to go endlessly for others. I checked with them after I noticed someone whose number was way after mine got their food. Turned out they were waiting for the spicy chicken to be ready and it would be another 20 mins wait. Say what?! An hour wait total after placing order? The staff was apologetic and said they had 100+ tickets to fulfill. The system was just so inefficient. I really wanted the spicy chicken but as I had spilt the order into spicy and non-spicy, I requested to be given the non spicy chicken first so my friend didn't have to wait for me. The food quality is there. Juicy tasty chicken. The spicy is pretty spicy. Both types were good. I also tried the palabok which was pretty good but couldn't compare to those found in Filipino restaurants here. I liked the pineapple drink and the coconut pineapple pie which was here for a limited time. There was only 1 rubbish bin area and it was filled to the max. I guessed the staff could not cope with clearing the area fast enough. There is seating outside but I don't recommend it unless you like to constantly watch out for the birds trying to steal your food.

Newish location by Vancouver City Hall. Parking here sucks, and the construction as of the time of writing (Broadway Line) really doesn't help. Probably best to take transit. Because of said construction, the only way in is up a sloped ramp along Cambie. Wheelchair users take note. The restaurant is actually on 2F. There is an elevator inside the building. The dining area itself is nice and modern. This place is crazy busy. Too busy in fact. Knock 1 star off. Their logistics are a freaking mess. I can think of several ways to improve their operations. 1) Have better signage between the takeout (Uber Eats) area and regular orders. Also have a sign showing the designated waiting area. I couldn't tell who was lining up to order. 2) Have some kind of order screen with order numbers (something like McDonald's) so that everyone isn't going back and forth to check orders every few minutes. Also it doesn't help that there's 1 employee quietly saying the numbers and getting completely drowned out by the mob. 3) Take out the trash more often. Please. The trash station was overflowing. People were stacking trays on top of other trays. Honestly I could feel my blood pressure rising while trying to navigate the hordes and waiting for food. For this reason I would recommend the other locations instead if one wants to try their food. Even their downtown (Granville) location is more organized than this. I can't believe I'm saying this. As for the food, it's definitely on the pricey side, even when compared to Popeyes. Chicken is decent and not too greasy compared to something like Church's. However, their pieces are noticeably smaller. The combo came with gravy and mashed potatoes. There are some other sides available as well. I also tried their pineapple coconut pie. Pretty tasty. Anything deep fried is awesome. As mentioned before, decent food, but go to another location to try.

Jollibee was recommended by a friend and my coworkers I had to try this place. My first visit was on June 7th Wednesday to try their famous chicken. Fried chicken is one of my major weakness for sure. Menu consists of fried chicken, Palabok, Spaghetti, Burgers and Pies. Price was fair. I had 2 pc and 1 side for $9.99 and peach pie for $3.49. Fried chicken were tender, fresh and crispy. Regular one was good, spicy one was bit too spicy. I think everyone has to try spicy one mixed with regular. It was nice having a free gravy. Fries was too average and tasteless. Same like ones from McDonalds. Peach mango pie came out fresh as well. It tasted good; however it's not something I would eat offen. I liked how their fried chicken was less salty than Church's. Washroom was clean.

Exceeded my expectations!! My first experience with JB was back in 2019 when I was in Hong Kong, as they already have this popular Fried Chicken chain there, and I thought I would give it a try, I was not impressed at all as the chicken were all tiny and very greasy! Fast forward to 2022 Vancouver, I waited for the hype to die down before I braved myself to the crowd! Came to the Cambie / W Broadway store and yes, the location may be a bit hard to get to ( for customers with mobility issues ) as it is currently in the middle of a huge construction site dedicated to a new Skytrain line! We got the 6 pc bucket and I asked for 1/2 spicy & 1/2 regular, as there was a line, we were given a buzzer after our oder was in, service was fast & friendly! Order came out after 8 mins. and everything was piping hot! Both the spicy & regular were extremely juicy and very flavourful, if you like spicy, I would strongly recommend as I find Jollibee's "spicy" really means "spicy" it has a slow kick, you will feel the heat after a couple of bites! Jollibee's Spaghetti .. this may not be everyone's "cup of pasta" as the sauce may be too sweet for some! I find this to be more like our Asian version of tomato based spaghetti sauce which I grew up with so to me it is an nostalgic taste! Don't expect to have al-dente pasta here! It is what it is .. our Asian version of Tomato Sauce Spaghetti! Overall, Jollibee is a great addition to our World of Fried Chicken in Greater Vancouver, and I hope with their specialized items, they will establish themselves as a great alternative & a respectable spot!!

Grew up with this fast food chain and it was a warm welcome to have it here in Vancouver. The seating area is quite spacious but not quite enough to entertain the long lines. I see lots of patrons ordering for take out instead. Had a chance to eat in today and enjoy freshly fried chicken pieces with spaghetti and palabok. Woooo love the fried chicken. It brings back lots of childhood memories. Love how I can taste the freshness. With long lines I guess there's got to be good turnover. Filipino spaghetti is on the sweet side. Compared to original Filipino Jollibee, I would say, this is not as sweet and the hotdog slices tastes healthier without the oozing red artificial colour. I like Vancouver version better although am not a fan of sweet spaghetti. Palabok is quite far off from what a palabok tastes like. I would say a bit disappointing. But overall, food is good. Will come back for sure.

Yahoooooo Jollibee finally has another location in Vancouver. About time. This location is bigger & badder - more space & plenty seating available. I was there on day 1 when the first location opened up downtown, on the Granville Mall. It was crazy. See my review & pix! More Jollibees are expected to open all over Metro Vancouver in the coming months. It took me awhile to figure out why I love Jollibee but after many tries & misses, I settled on the Spicy Chicken Sandwich Deluxe with xtra sauce. #superyummylicious #getinmybelly #tasty #thechickenwar This sandwich is not too salty unlike Popeyes sandwich, which of late I've found to be a bit too salty. Shocking I know cause when Popeyes ignited the Chicken Wars, they were number one day in & out for months! No one could touch them. Then along came Jollibee & WOW!!! I've tried the spaghetti & me no like it. The Yumburger & cheeseburger - I found to be so sad, I cried. Yelpies stick with the Chicken Sandwich & ask for xtra sauce - always! The Pineapple juice is sweet & tasty. The Peach Mango Pie is great for dessert. Yelpies please, please, please check your takeout orders before you leave Jollibee! They're so busy & the staff are new - so you will tend to find something missing from your order or it may not have been made to 100% perfection. I've found Lettuce or a tomato & jalapenos missing from my sandwich & immediately ordered a redo! When in doubt, always go with the Chicken Deluxe Sandwich!

Late lunch at Jollibee, Cambie at West Broadway. Two pieces chicken, spicy. Big and delicious drumstick and thigh...moist and tender. Fries hot and crispy. A good deal at $9.99! Very busy! Sitting on the patio to watch the sun on the North Shore mountains. Great except for Fred the Seagull, who landed as soon as I sat down. Jollibee is on the second floor, east walk along the covered walkway. Right across from Canada Line.

place was packed trash and crumbs on the floor but amazing food. The staff seemed nice there so that's a bonus. The Jolly spaghetti was flavourful, the chicken was crispy, and the peach mango pie was AMAZING.

Finally visited a Vancouver Jollibee in person! Super busy in a weekday night. Service was fast, nice seating on outdoor patio. I was very pleased with my spaghetti as usual, and the Yum burger was much better than at the downtown location- they actually gave enough sauce! Will be back next time I have a Jollibee craving.

First time at Jollibee! (3.8/5) There was a hype rush a few months ago in 2022 when Jollibee first opened its doors in Vancouver. People waited for three hours in line and had a maximum spending limit of $75, but I did not participate. Location - Cambie & Broadway, second floor. Paid street parking is available, and there is easy access to transit (Broadway Canada line and busses out front). Currently, there is construction outside Jollibee, but clear signage is present to guide you to their door. Line - There were a few people waiting for their food before us, but no one was ordering. There was no one in line at 4 pm on Friday. Clear dividers and signage on lining up are present to guide customers if it gets hectic. This is probably because of post-hype. Seating - There were lots of people in the dining room. When we arrived, only a few seats were available, but there were people coming and going. We chose to dine in at the restaurant. Service - The staff was patient as we were deciding what to order. Customers who ordered received a buzzer. The buzzer vibrated when our order was ready to pick up. This way, we could take a seat and not block the lineup/ordering area. The preparation was 10/10. Menu - There were a lot of combos to choose from! There were too many for my liking, and most seemed like a mix of chicken, sides, pies, and/or drinks. FOOD ----- 3 piece chicken with gravy and fries as a side for $13.79 - We chose the regular size. It came with two legs and one thigh. The chicken was moist and delicious. Chicken 10/10. The fries, on the other hand, were underwhelming. They were very skinny and pale. I've never seen fries prepared like that. They were also soggy, and we ate in, so we didn't have to wait too long before eating. The gravy was in a separate container. I don't think ketchup is used for fries at Jollibee because we were not provided with any, nor did we see any ketchup dispenser present. We used the gravy for the fries, and that worked! Fries 2/10 with no gravy, 3/10 with gravy. Spaghetti for $7.49 - It had a sweet red sauce that is common in Asian countries. It's probably not everyone's thing, but it's good to try at least once. It's pretty rich if you eat the whole thing. It's good to share with someone. Spaghetti 6.5/10. Two burger steaks with mashed potatoes as a side for $10.49 - The burger steaks were basically very soft burger patties drenched in gravy and mushrooms. It's the first item I tried, and I didn't eat lunch, so this was pretty good. It was a little small but packed with flavor! Burger steaks 7/10. Mashed potato side - I definitely enjoyed this one! I would have liked more gravy with it. We had extra gravy from our chicken to use for this! Mash 10/10. Peach Mango Pie for $3.99 - It was quite small compared to the other pies at other fast food restaurants. You can barely rip the pie in half from the middle as the filling will gush out. There is definitely a liquid filling in there. You have to be careful when eating as one wrong bite, and it is all over you. We could also tell it was deep-fried from the flavor. Pie 7.5/10. INTERESTING THINGS Gravy - It came with the chicken, and there was a lot of gravy to go around! We used 1/3 of the container and used it with the chicken, fries, mashed potato, and burger steaks we ordered. The table next to us had a 2-piece chicken combo, and they used 1/10 of their gravy. They threw it away after their dine-in experience. Personally, I think Jollibee should have a gravy self-service pump by the drinks. People can pump their own gravy for their meal to prevent waste. Packaging - We were asked to dine in or take out. We dined in. I felt that if we dined in, the food should be on plates that could be reused, like at restaurants, to prevent waste. There were just a lot of boxes and containers after we finished our meal. I did not feel great seeing that much waste. It is something I will think about if I want to choose Jollibee in the future. PS. I'm aware Jollibee is a fast-food restaurant, and things should be quick and easy, and disposable boxes/containers are cheaper than hiring a dishwasher. If having boxes and containers is a better cost option, then I suggest the size of boxes for food. The burger steaks definitely did not need such a big box. It was the same size as the 3-piece chicken! See images for reference. I witnessed a mid-day team huddle! It's nice to see a team get together to cheer each other up. Only a few minutes, but I could see smiles from them after.

I finally have the chance to try jollibee after refraining for so long to queue at the robsons one. Even though it has just opened for short time and its a new building, the place was already a mess. You can see from the photo that the trash was never cleaned somehow. And the toilet somehow already smells like an old mcds bathroom somehow. Anyway, jollibee is again is pretty mediocre. Incoming hate comments for no reason for protecting jollibee somehow. Again, the chicken are mid and every country is different. In canada, its pretty much mid. I can assure you that there are better local fried chicken in town. The gravy was exceptional and better than churchs. The palabok was totally the best; this is something you should get. The spaghetti is different and mid. The yam burger is the unique sweet burger than reminds me of my home burger. The fries are mid. The steak was mid. The rice was awful because it used long grain instead of thai jasmine mid grain. Mashed potato was awful. The chicken sandwich was almost as good as popeyes. Would i recommend? Yes its a good medium food not fast food chain. Jollibee always takes a while to get your food anywhere. Ive tried in more than 20 countries and yes its always slow but its good for comfort food. Overall, jollibee is mid and please stop overhyping it. If you are triggered by this review, it shows how you are so much of a backwater person who never tries better stuff. Its okay but its not awesome. Cheers!
