This location is one of the last of its kind ( it's been here for decades ) with all the construction and restructuring of the Richmond landscape especially on no 3 road it's only a matter of time before this place will be erased from existence. It's ihop so you know the quality is consistent the service is excellent. This location has a ton of memories for me so it was great to stop in for Pancake Tuesday.

Quick 2-eggs breakfast $11.99: toast & hashbrowns included, substitute eggs and bacon with egg whites and turkey bacon. The place is very clean and on a weekday morning it was busy although me and my friend got seated right away. I haven't gone for 5 years! portions are good, prices are fair, and service is efficient. It doesn't stand out but it's a simple & classic breakfast to satisfy the cravings.

I love me an iHop, Saturday (Br)Lunch in Vancouver/Richmond it was difficult to find an opening anywhere. Luckily old reliable iHop, only had to wait about 10 minutes. Definitely very busy, but staff was quick and very accommodating. Our server Robin was fantastic and attentive, especially with all the tables they had to serve. She was also really helpful with my fiancé with swaps with his pancake order. I got the southwest scramble with toast (? Name i don't remember specifically), which was presented well and is iHop. IHop is iHop, service was what makes it home lol, thank you Robin

Oh, my gosh. I didn't realize that I haven't reviewed IHOP before. I've been coming here once every two years or so and it's been consistent for me. Service is prompt. Food is mediocre and they keep this location neat and tidy. The syrups on the side of the table are never super sticky or messy. They have some homemade milkshake with four or five different flavours right now. I didn't get to try it this time but I'll come back again next time to give it a try.

Tried Ihop 's Grinch inspired Menu a few days ago and there are only three words to describe it: ONE HOT MESS. It was a super colourful meal and idea but there was something funky happening with their green whip cream because it was bubbling in my hot chocolate like it was alive, and sliding everywhere on anywhere BUT my pancake The pancake with had sweet cream cheese icing, red candy hearts and green whipped cream was a little too sweet for me. But the price of the pancake which comes with eggs and bacon was similar to their regular menu, which is a plus! The service was a bit slow, but it was busy so understandable.

I came here with a couple of friends over the past weekend. It was really busy but the hostess managed to get us seated pretty quickly. I must say the service was pretty good! The server was very attentive he kept checking up on us and refill our water. As for the food it was okay. It was typical breakfast food. I got hash browns, 2eggs And sausages. But the pancake my friend had was pretty good. The pancakes we're fluffy and the strawberry sauce was not too sour or sweet. This is s nice causal place to catch up with friends. It can get quite loud if you don't like noise.

We always come here for a breakfast when there is a birthday as the food here is delicious. There are two IHOP locations in Richmond and this is the better location. The servers are friendly and the service is quick. The menu is large with many options so there will be something for everyone. For me personally I always order something different than what I make at home.

We ordered philly cheese steak, spicy chicken ranch and a banana Nutella crepe. The sandwiches were a bit bland and oily. Not a lot of flavour inside. Although the side order onions rings were crunchy and big. Crepes was a little crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Pretty big portions.

I do like to occasionally eat pancakes and I think IHOP makes some nice fluffy pancakes. I ordered the pancake combo ($8.49) which included pancakes, eggs, hash browns and choice of meat. It was a decent price for the amount of food. There are also plenty of other western breakfast options to choose from although they usually do not interest me. My go to item is always some type of pancakes.

Unfortunately it wasn't executed well. Pork was under marinated, there was no tamarind taste, nor a hint of chili on it. What could have been a very tasty Thai dish turned out to be mediocre and disappointing. Presentation was nice and appealing though. Server is very nice and friendly. Ambiance is appealing. Nice to be on a sunny morning. Glass panels lets in bright sunshine making it a perfect brunch spot.

It reminded me of searching for pineapple buns as a kid. Unfortunately, the experience quickly took a turn. My wife, child, and I stopped in close to closing because my child wanted sesame balls. It was his first time ever asking for them, so we were excited to get a few. When we brought our items to the counter, the staff member curtly told us to grab more pastries, which already felt a bit off. Things became more uncomfortable during checkout. We were told they only accept CAD cards, which is understandable, but when we asked about paying in USD, they agreed at a one to one rate. Not ideal, but we were happy to support a local business. Our total came to 10.75 CAD and we paid with 20 USD. Instead of receiving proper change, we were strongly encouraged to take additional pastries because they did not have change. The staff was quite insistent, and we ended up with several extra items we did not really want. To make matters worse, after piling multiple pastries into my wife's already full hands as she was carrying bags from traveling, we asked for a bag and were initially told no. Only after we returned some of the coins given as change did a box and then suddenly a bag become available. The entire interaction felt unnecessarily pressured and uncomfortable. While both parties were speaking Chinese, I could not shake the feeling of being taken advantage of as an outsider simply trying to support the business. To top it off, the pastries themselves were mediocre at best. It is a shame, because the place has such a nostalgic charm, but the service left a lasting negative impression.

I remember my grandma taking me to the WS in the 70s (oh my do I date myself) & me freaking out like a little school girl, over the glass that I had my drink in. I wanted that glass so badly I cried. Grandma tried to buy it for me. Gawd bless her soul. Back in the day the WS would draw families in with their kids via The Pirate Pack. The kids meal would be served on a Pirate Pak - a paper / cardboard boat & my brother & I, in fact every kid would go absolutely bonkers! Not sure if that still happens today? Ah those we're the days when I had no bills or stress. I had not been to the WS in over 30 years nor did I miss it. A few years ago, the WS went through a major renovation updating the interior decor at all their restaurants. However, it still feels old to me. My Monty Burger was just ok. Couldn't really taste the 'secret sauce' WS is famous for. My cocktail - good. The highlight & sensation - my chocolate milkshake - it was excellent. I almost might go back just for that. These days the crowd at WS is mainly of the geriatrics type, according to my observation. This older generation must have come here frequently as kids & as a result, still love the WS today. Kudos to them. The WS continues to be a popular restaurant to eat at for many - I can't explain why. Each to his own. Do I need to go back anytime soon - nah.

Hei Hei Rice Roll is legit good, totally recommend, even my daughter too, I thought of her ( since she LOVES rice roll and couldn't make it on this trip with me) while enjoying these roll but when I shared with her the photos and mention that we will go back here with her- she already visited. She said it was so good! Hei Hei Rice Roll is located at the Richmond Public Market, oh wow - this place is really popular, on the 2nd visit I was the first in line then the line wasn't so long but while waiting for our order, the line got super long. I was lucky I didn't wait long in line. Best to arrive early. I am not sure what the secret to the rice roll but Wow, it's so thin, silky, smooth texture with the toppings, so great together. The last 2 times we had rice roll with my daughter at Portland and Seattle- followed per Instagram reels- those did not even compare to these rolls. My first visit I got the combo which is the best deals, starts at $15.50 but depends on what you select for the selection for rice rolls and congee. I got the pork & preserved egg congee, shrimp, mushroom, pork rice roll. The 2nd visit I got the combo again, with liver & preserved egg congee, scallop and shrimp rice rolls, but I got my order wrong for the roll- they missed the shrimp. fyi-I found out that bean sprout, corn, toppings are free! Both combo came out to $17. super cheap! Cash only, they take USD but its the same dollar $ value. I wish they take credit cards, hehe. & the Verdict: Yummy, the congee hits the spot for comfort food, loved how it is cooked and they add peanuts too. Love the packet of sauce for the rice rolls, the umami-ness, so good. Best to eat it hot and fresh! Don't forget to ask for chili sauce, to add that extra spicy kick! For now, I am not sure I'll ever find a spot that is closest to Hei Hei for my congee and rice roll fix until I get to visit Richmond, BC again.
