This was my third time coming here. The drinks are always really good and presented nicely. The food was good as well. We got nori chips, truffle fries, salmon spaghetti, and some Asian noodles. I wish the portion sizes were bigger because it's actually quite pricey to eat here. I do enjoy the vibe. The only thing I would have to say is that service was not very attentive. For this reason, I'm not sure if I would go back, but the food is always good. read more

Great local pub. Eight of us met up for drinks and food. We all enjoyed our food. I had the curry. The service was great and timely, and we all enjoyed our food. Pro - tip to management. When people go to a local pub they want to hear each other and not be drowned out by the loud music. It would have been a 5 star review expect for the music which made conversations difficult down a long table. It's the second time at Sector 7 where the ambient sound was an issue. read more

This was a random stop for us on the way back home from Canada, and to our surprise, this place actually delivered top-quality food and top-quality taste. Never tasted anything like it. I gathered my friends and headed over for Happy Hour. The first thing we were told was we had to leave by 5:15 pm because the table was reserved. So friendly and welcoming eh? Why anyone would want this table next to the bar that had the tv on Fox News and the bar filled with workmen making comments that were not appropriate. I tried to focus on friends and the hockey game but didn't feel comfortable. Next the food, fish taco was the worst on a cold cheap flour tortilla with gobs of creamy sauce and cabbage. The waffle fries were unevenly fried, crisp edge with a flabby middle. The wings were the frozen kind then sauced, meat was tough and stringy. The cauliflower was deep fried nuggets with you guessed it lots of sweet and creamy sauces, ho hum. I was embarrassed that I brought my friends here, since I was excited to try them out. Before we left Vancouver Canada we had to find a place to eat before the long drive back to Seattle certain places were either close or were opening late but Sector 7 open at 10pm and made it just when they just open, we was greeted right away and since it was opening had to give the chef some time to get up to par in such a big order of 10 people. Smash burger on the menu was a grab with truffle fries I say 3/4 of the group ordered the same and had no complaints so food was good. Just our luck that there were large groups at the same time as we were there. It seemed understaffed. I got the wrong fries with my order but they fixed that. We also had to wait and asked again for 2 of our drink orders. They were super apologetic especially our male server. Food was tasty. I don't know how new this place is, but it seems they have some opportunities to work things out. I placed an order to go yesterday through their website, but when I showed up, they seemed not to know about it. They DID honor the discount from the web order, and prepared the food very quickly! It was good; no complaints about the quality of food. My recommendation would be to at least ask about utensils, if not just including them. Thankfully I always have chopsticks with me, so I didn't have to eat my Caesar salad with my hands. Also no napkins, so I just used a hotel washcloth. Then, to freak me out further, I got a text tonight (beyond 24 hours later) about my order and that it would be ready for pickup shortly. Again, I'm not sure that is the restaurant's issue, but they definitely want to tighten things up with the vendor or find a new one. read more

I absolutely loved my visit to Sector 7. There are only a few real culinary gems in Richmond and this is one of them! The bar is the big money piece, perfect for instagramming. The fish tacos I highly recommend. As a lover of fish tacos, they pass the vibe check, very light and flavourful. The fettuccine was delicately delicious and the chocolate cake was very decadent. The food, drinks, ambiance, and especially the service was all great. This spot checks all the boxes and the prices were quite good too. A real hidden gem. Will be coming back. read more

We had an amazing dinner at Sector7! Our server, Jasmine, was absolutely fantastic and he the perfect balance between checking in and giving us our space. The vibe of the restaurant is so cool! They've got tvs around (they had sports on while we were there) and very chill lighting and music. The food was really good. It all came out quite quickly and tasted great. We tried four appetizers and two burgers between three of us and we were absolutely stuffed. The portions were great for the price and we will definitely be back! read more

Sector 7 is one of Richmond's hidden gems. I first checked this place out with some friends and I tried the Fettuccine, Fish Tacos and the chocolate cake (all of which were delicious!). I found that Sector 7 has a unique take on all of its' dishes, so they are all worth a try. The bar is also very aesthetically pleasing and the drinks are great! There aren't too many bars in Richmond so I was glad to find out about Sector 7. It is also worth noting that the service is excellent. I found that the owners are very friendly and genuine people. They even recognized me when I came back a few weeks after my first time dropping by! read more

We popped in to Canada for the day, and decided to try Sector 7 for lunch. The interior is lovely and soothing. The service was great, and the food was absolutely delicious. We had the Shanghai wings as an appetizer, and they were excellent. I believe there were 8 wings total and it was a great choice for sharing. My husband had the Harissa chicken bowl, absolutely fantastic. The chicken was super tender and flavorful, and the yoghurt sauce was delightful. I had the Louisiana style fettuccine Alfredo. It was very flavorful, and the spices were spot on. If we were local, this would be on our list to visit regularly. read more

Hidden gem tucked away in a strip mall along No. 5 Road. Ample parking. Open, airy, rustic decor and exceptionally clean restaurant and bar. Extremely friendly staff. Drinks and food is exceptional. Reasonably priced and decent portions. The American Burger, Birria Tacos, Nashville Hot Burger and Wings can't be beat. Food was extremely tasty and it all came out to our table fresh and hot! After seeing the write in the Vancouver Sun newspaper, I just had to give this restaurant a try since is was in close proximity to my home. We ordered the Fried Chicken and the Chili Lime Cauliflower as starters to share and both were delicious. We also ordered the Crunchy Wonton Salad to share. We loved the dressing on this salad. This is a must do restaurant outside of Vancouver! We stopped here on a whim on our way to Vancouver due to a few good reviews and were thoroughly impressed. First, the cocktails are delicious and have a small twist that makes them stand out on the menu. Second, the menu has items from different food genres so anyone should be able to find something that sounds incredible. For bar food we ordered the truffle fries which were crispy and delicious. For the meal we order the birria tacos and the curry bowl with chicken. The tacos were incredible on their own but are served with two delicious sauces/salsas that really make the dish shine. The curry bowl was complex and flavorful with fresh vegetables and chicken thighs. Last, the gentleman working the bar was very welcoming and gave us a little bit of information about the restaurant and how it was started. Oh and the interior is very well designed and decorated for a cozy romantic dinner, hanging out at the bar watching a game, or a fun night out with friends. Overall, I'm thrilled with our experience and we will make this our must do stop when coming and going from Vancouver. Recommend you do the same. read more
