    Oh ya free is good....

***1/2 Decent comfort food menu always tried and true with all your fave flavs. I ordered the BLTA sammie with thick slabs of salty bacon atop a slice of creamy avocado and fresh greenery all between golden brown crunchy grilled sourdough. Sensory overload indeed! Big yum! Bravo! A gr8 riff on a classic BLT, refreshing, filling and just delicious when sided with Onion rings and salty skin-on shoe string fries. Decent robust coffee too! Covid protocols in place and enforced for your safety. Unrushed warm service staff. Feed ur face safely ! Brianm Ur foodieatlarge.yelp.ca

Busy yet warm. We headed to IHOP as our American cousins needed a dose of USA . Even though the place was busy we were seated in 5 mins. The server was very warm and made right recommendations. The stuffed egg omelettes were heavy and filling. The burger was delicious. The fries were thick cut and so crispy! The junior combo was perfect for my 3 year old. Pancakes were fresh and light. Enjoy the place with family and the price is reasonable too. The portions are huge! Ratings : Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambience:3/5 Will be going back for sure !

If ever I go out to eat breakfast ,that has always been to Cora's but I always wanted to check out ihop. ( international house of pancakes) Yes my dear fellow friends,it is actually a house of pancakes. Oh my gosh , there servings are in all portions from 2 to 4 to 6 pieces of pancakes. They are serve ham, sausages, eggs, bread n fruit. Special brunch menu n kids menu. I like that place that offer kids special as they always need a small portion. Plenty of drinks from cold coffee to hot coffee to tea. Omelets are my favourite and ask them for anything n they will make it for you. Servers are well versed ,well dressed and good communicators. They know their job really well. Hats off to particularly talking to random client and asking about their day in spite of the fact that they are always on their feet. This location was really busy. Cleanliness is what I look for every where and trust me this place know cleaning. Neat and tidy tables, washtoom, utensils, napkins, etc. Go grab a quick bite of breakfast or lunch in economical price.

    This is my favorite color

Fantastic spot for a clown party. Will go again with my enterage. One thing I did not like about the restaurant is it was haunted. Get rid of those dam ghosts and I will go again.

Me and my friend came in for breakfast today. Service was very friendly as per usual. When I found a couple of hairs in my plate. I waved the waitress down who said after showing her the said hair found on my plate where food was already half eaten, "sorry about that, well I'll just bring you another plate of food if you like". I advised her that I had lost my appetite. She said something along the lines of, "it's up to you". I felt pressure because my friend wanted to eat his food. I said fine after a long pause. When the waitress brought the food back it looked like it was thrown together with no presentation like the initial plate of food. It felt as though my asking for another plate of food after complaining about a hair in it was annoying to not only the cooking staff but the waitress who brought it to me. Anyways at the end of the meal she brought me the bill which I thought was ridiculous. I just hope that people read this message and realize that the service is unacceptable. I am considering going to health Canada with my story. When your food has a hair in it, at the very least it should be complimentary.

The staff is so kind and welcoming, it really is like being part of the family. During this visit we ordered our fave dishes including the savoury chicken tikka masala and the incredible chicken momos. I wasn't a huge fan of the prawn koliwada fry because of the seasoning, but my family enjoyed it. Our server Jana was very kind and knowledgable. Despite managing tables for half the restaurant, she was efficient in taking our orders and attentive when we needed her to come to our table. We also appreciated her sense of humour and friendliness. We love this restaurant and are so excited they've been expanding to other locations. We can't wait to return for another meal here during our next visit to Canada!

The host asked me if I wanted a table in the front or back, and quickly seated me and grabbed me a menu. There were a lot of great sounding fusion items on the menu, and I almost went with one of their brunch items before opting for chicken tikka masala, Kashmiri chai, and pani puri. It took a bit of time before the waitress came back for my order, but my pani puri and chai came out quite quickly. Both were very good, chai very creamy and aromatic, and the pani puri's quite flavorful. My chicken tikka masala came out as I was finishing up the pani puri. It was really hot and the naan was warm, and both were incredibly tasty. Flavor was good, chicken was very tender, overall no complaints! I didn't specify a spice level when ordering and the waitress didn't ask so based on taste they may have defaulted to mild, which tasted great. I'd definitely come back again to try one of their delicious sounding desserts!

During my last trip to Surrey, I made sure to stop by and fill up on caffeine and pastries. This location looks like an Apple Store from the outside with a modern glass exterior and minimalistic interior. From what my friends have told me, this location is much larger than their Downtown Vancouver location. Upon entering, the first thing I saw was Nemesis' vibrant colored boxes nicely lined up on a table next to the window for purchase in addition to merch (shirts, mugs, etc.) featuring their simplistic upside down blue heart logo. They switch out the coffee varieties on a regular basis, and so make sure to check their site first if you are looking for a certain bean! After perusing the merch, I made my way to the line and was captivated by the fancy high-end pastries in the glass counter. The company that makes the pastries is called Dope and they had everything from cookies to croissants to cakes and crullers. Prices were reasonable and I paid under $20 USD for four pastries. They had unique flavors including: strawberry & pistachio danish, tiramisu croissant, churro cruller, iced cap cruller, apple hojicha fritter, ube donut, and more. Like the Nemesis packaging, the Dope pastry boxes were art pieces on their own and probably the prettiest to-go boxes I've ever seen; they are a bright vibrant blue with their signature smile and tongue character logo and metallic writing. They literally look like designer shoe boxes. Nemesis features two seasonal drinks at a time, but they don't offer any flavored drinks otherwise and so if you're looking for a basic vanilla latte, this is not the place. The two seasonal drinks they were featuring in February were the Beet Root Latte and the Black Sesame Corn Latte (no coffee in this one though). Personally, neither quite appealed to me and so I just ordered a basic OAT MILK LATTE sweetened with simple syrup (you could alternatively get it sweetened with honey). The espresso was smooth and the oat milk was nice and creamy. To share with my family, I also ordered the... - APPLE HOJICHA FRITTER ($4.75 CAN) - as someone who doesn't normally like donuts, this fritter was the best fritter I've ever had and definitely on the not-to-sweet side. It was crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside, and full of apple pieces, apple spiced compote, and cinnamon. The hojicha dusting was subtle but added a nice slight earthiness to the pastry. I liked this pastry so much, I ended up ordering another one later on! - The ICED CAP CRULLER ($4.75 CAN) - this cruller was also fantastic and full of espresso flavor. The espresso cream filling and the condensed milk glaze were delicious and tasted like I was eating a Vietnamese coffee. 10/10 would get this again! - BROWN BUTTER BANANA CAKE ($5.75 CAN) - this cake was super moist and had a beautiful piping of cinnamon espresso buttercream on top. I'd say this one was the least unique of the pastries I ordered, but was a solid slice of banana bread and the buttercream was smooth and light. - CHOCOLATE ORANGE SUISSE ($7.50 CAN) - this pastry was the most interesting texture-wise as it has a crispy exterior that reminded me of chowmein noodles, wrapped around a croissant. The candied orange was very distinct and could be tasted in both the chocolate orange filling and the outside. While the most expensive of the pastries (probably because of the extra labor it takes for this one), I thoroughly enjoyed every bite and would order this one again too. The seating areas and bathrooms are clean. Service is excellent- we got our orders within 10 minutes after ordering and they come by to give you water and silverware as needed. TLDR, Nemesis is 1000% worth the stop and I can't wait to be back whenever I am in Surrey next. Overall, 5/5 for coffee and pastries, 5/5 for service, 5/5 for atmosphere

There were quite a few empty tables and the place felt pretty relaxed. I was doing a bit of work and ended up staying a little longer than the 90-minute table limit. One of the staff members came up to us and said, "Hey, you guys have been here longer than 90 minutes. You'll have to leave soon." I told him that was fine and asked if I could just finish my coffee. He said okay, but then about a minute later he came back with a to-go cup and said, "Here you go, you guys can leave now." Honestly, that caught me off guard. Especially since it wasn't busy and there were still plenty of open tables. During my first visit, Jimmy went above and beyond to make sure everything was great, and I don't think he would have handled it that way. The coffee is still great and I really like the space, but this experience definitely made me think twice about coming back.

The pastry girl greeted us but the servers were so flustered that I had to flag them down to tell them I had a reservation. My first time here I loved the girly decor but this time all I saw were dirty dishes on the table. The servers looked stressed and one girl even dropped a tray full of glasses. There was a long wait to order, get our food, and get our bill. My friend ordered the pork belly eggs benny and it was as delicious as last time. I ordered the truffled mushroom frittata and it was nothing special. It was mostly overcooked eggs with mushrooms and a slice of toast that tasted plain. I told the server it was my friend's birthday and I wanted something special for her. Last time I ordered creme brûlée and they put sparklers on it and "happy birthday" with icing sugar. This time their dessert options were all brunch items: tiramisu French toast, chocolate French toast, hot cakes. The food had a twist of creativity in both the taste and the look, satisfying your palette and your camera. And just like in Australia, their coffee was good but super tiny. Their chicken on their waffle was very nice as well, but their waffle was a savory waffle. Which took away the pleasant combo of sweet and savory. But still very good. I would just order more friend chicken next time. well cooked, crispy pork belly too mmm. Price was decent as portions were generous. Service was friendly, and the food took a moderate food amount of time. We went at 2pm to eat brunch, so hoping that it wouldn't take longer during more peak hours. Parking is a bit of a hassle as it's underground parking. A bit of a trek to come to the restaurant, but I think that's the norm now in greater Vancouver area. Sadly the norm is also paid parking with no validation. But I won't dock off points for the restaurant for that Their menu rotates, so I would love to come back and try something new.

It was clean and bright and we got a nice seat by the window. Our server was quick to say hello and take our drink order. I'm always impressed with the breadth of the menu here. I landed on the Seafood Yummy Hash, and hubby had the Big breakfast, again. Coffee and water came first, and we were both delighted at how good the coffee was. Most diner style restaurants have a very burnt tasting coffee but this was very smooth. Off to a good start! Food came out very quickly and looked amazing. Both dishes were beautifully plated, and the fruit on the big breakfast was not a typical canned special. Things took a turn at the first bite though. Taste 10/10, but our food was cold. Like cold, cold which was surprising given the restaurant was mostly empty, and it came out so quick. The quality of the ingredients was excellent, and very obviously in-house made, but both of our potatoes were quite literally cold, with some of the baby potatoes being hard in the middle still. The sourdough was also stale, but not just stale in taste, it was almost like it had been toasted well in advance and then plated. The review on the big breakfast remains the same as last time. Sausage was amazing, but the bacon and the ham left something to be desired. The server took some time to return back to our table and check in on us. When she did I told her our food was cold. She just kind of made a face, said oooooh, apologized, and that was it. She also had to be reminded to refill our coffees a second time after asking. The last shock came with the bill. While the prices overall were reasonable for very large servings of food, two black coffees came to $11. I know we raved about them at the beginning of the review, but not sure they were $11 good. Really wanted to love it, but not sure it lived up to expectations this time.
