I don't usually post negative reviews, but my experience with one of the front staff members was disappointing. I believe her name was "Metti" (apologies if I've misspelled it). I've visited this store several times, and unfortunately my interactions with her have consistently felt rude and unwelcoming. Customer service can make a big difference in someone's day, and these interactions have often left me feeling uncomfortable enough that I avoid coming in when I see her working. read more

My firm had an event here and they ordered a lot of pizzas for everyone. I preferred the Freshslice at the Robson street location over this one. Overall, it wasn't bad. I also find that buying a slice is always tastier than getting a whole entire pizza to go. At least they warm up the pizza and made sure the bottom is nice and crispy. I had the ham and pineapple pizza. Tasty! Freshslice is a lower end pizza chain. Prices are super cheap and for the quality and taste it is not bad. That is why I gave this place 4 stars. Seating at this location is very limited. Most people just eat it outside or on the go. Or they get a box and enjoy it elsewhere. read more

I must admit I have a thing for Freshslice. Something about ghetto-pizza just does it for me. Parking is available on the streets. Or if you're feeling sneaky, hit up the lot in Tinseltown across the street. As with other Freshslice locations, 2 things are always worth mentioning: 1) Festive Tuesday - $1.25 slices are the cheapest you can find anywhere, hands down. 2) Slices get even cheaper if you buy in bulk. In other words, get some buddies to chip in, and you can share a whole pizza. One thing that really amused me during my visit is that Freshslice now advertise their pizzas as LOW FAT. Hello oxymoron. I was chuckling to myself the whole time while scarfing down my food. Their toppings aren't as generous as Uncle Fatih's, but they make up for it with some nice gooey cheese. I can live with that. We were walking down the street when their sign caught my eye. It read something like "$1.43 slice on Tuesdays". Yes it was Tuesday, and in we went. We got a slice of the ham and pineapple and a slice of cheese and basil pesto. Both were delicious! I'm talking one of the best pizzas I've ever had. The ham was so flavourful with just the right amount of pineapple. The basil pesto flavour was perfectly pronounced. The tomato sauce is really delicious and doesn't overpower any of the pizza toppings. Both slices had a crispy yet chewy and light crust - no dipping sauce required. Our total came to $3 all in. $3! This place was so good, we returned the next day for more. They have an everyday option of $5 for 3 slices (works out to be$1.67 a slice. They also have $11.99 for 8 slices which is an ever better value at $1.50 per slice). We ordered the same 2 slices with the addition of a ground beef and cream sauce. Like the other 2 flavours, it was delicious! You could really taste the seasoned ground beef and the cream sauce added the perfect touch of creaminess and garlic. This pizza is good. You know it's good when you're not hungry and eating it (it isn't just hunger talking). They have a decent amount of seating inside and a couple of tables outside. I wish they had a pizza shop like this in Toronto because I'd be going almost everyday! (Maybe a good thing they don't?) Overall, amazing pizza at a great price! read more

There aren't many places that I review about but today seems to be the exception. This particular Fresh Slice chain has never disappointed me when it comes to service and their food. I particularly enjoying grabbing a slice right before a Canucks game and enjoying the game on a full stomach instead of paying the hefty price at Rogers arena. I'm updating my review as the guy was nice enough to help me charge my iPhone when I was out of juice. (3GS/4/4s). I bought a slice and a pop and came back later for another slice and the pizza tasted better this time around. It may have helped that I came before a Canucks game and all the pizza's just came out of the oven. They have a decent deal where you get one slice and a pop for $2.69. Fresh slice is still fresh slice, and although I'm not the biggest fan of their pizza, the fact that they were kind enough to charge my phone showed that they still care about their patrons. read more

#30daysofyelp 29/30 Decent pizza. Compared to another pizza place on Granville, it's not as good. No sesame seeds on the crust but the bottom of the crust was well cooked. They have take and bake option on the pizza which seems like a good idea if you want to bake it yourself. Very friendly and fast service,very clean dining room and washroom. I can't imagine how the back is gonna be clean. After I tasted this place pizza I can't eat anywhere else. Very fresh.
