The chicken was good. Juicy good flavor The service was good too. The place was cool ..... not noisy.

Been at this location for several times and I'm happy that they're consistent with their service and quality of food. The place was not busy so we got seated on the the same spot we always get, the corner at the back. Staff are friendly and always check our table needs. The foods we've ordered were very very hot. Chicken pieces were big in size, tender and juicy. The sauce was very good in taste and not super spicy. The fries were very good especially the sauce on secret fries. We had a beer tower with a bottle of Soju Apple in it and it was very good. I highly recommend this specific location.

Yum yum for chicken! I really enjoyed my meals from this location. I never had a bad experience the last few times I ordered from BB.Q Chicken Whether you call in for take out or use their online ordering system, both way works (you just have to set up an email and payment for online ordering) I placed an order online and then I called to check double check they have my order, the staff were very polite and ensured that I got my order placed A def perk through ordering online are the monthly specials For February, the Fried Chicken in Black Pepper was $9 for about 8-9 pieces of chicken. The chicken was tasty and juicy. The rice bowls are pretty worth it if you like love rice like me They offer fried chicken as well as grilled chicken options. Both are amazing. The Jamaican style crispy chicken has a very nice seasoning Happy Hour Rice bowls are 9.99 till 3pm on weekdays I like that they have a variety of items on the menu like the appetizer cheese balls and Spicy Dukk-Bokki and that's why I keep coming back!

I think the BB.Q chicken & pub just became one of my favourite places to get fried chicken in the lower mainland. Nothing beats ending off a long week with some well fried chicken and drinks. I noticed that they do "somaek" (soju + beer) here and I had to try. Your party is able to order one pitcher of beer along with one bottle of soju, and the waiter helps you to pour it into a tower where both are mixed together. Be warned, you might get tipsy! The cheeseling chicken is a DEFINITE MUST when it comes to this restaurant. As a group, we were quite skeptical about how this one would taste, as none of us are really into "cheesy" items. However, this one tasted amazing and not overly cheesy. The powder they put on top of their fried chicken is a mixture of cheddar cheese and mascarpone. I think that the mixture made it so that the cheese itself was not too heavy, nor did it cover the taste of the chicken itself. I would highly recommend everyone to try this dish when they go to this restaurant! We also ordered the following: Gangjeong Chicken, Honey Garlic Wings, Soy Garlic Wings, and Secret Sauced Wings. I liked that none of the sauce made the chicken itself less crispy. The chicken itself was juicy and the plentiful sauce just made some great chicken even better. We also ordered Secret Fries, which was very addicting and multiple orders had been made. Overall, if you're looking for a fantastic Korean chicken joint, this is the place to go!

If you are a K-drama fan, you must hear about Chimaek . Chimaek is a combination that's been a staple of Korean dining for years. It is a pairing of Korean Fried Chicken and Beer. It always gives us major cravings when watching people in K-drama eating something delicious. We ordered Half & Half Fried Chicken from bb.q Chicken tonight. It contained Golden Fried Chicken and Secret Sauced Chicken. The chicken was freshly made to order. They were crispy and full of flavour. We enjoyed both options. They have a little bit of spicy flavour, but they were very tasty! Food: 4/5 Should Try! Service: ‍‍‍3/5 Kids: 3/5 A-OK for kids (boneless option is available) Price: $30-50 for two (takeout dinner) Presentation: 3/5 Parking: 3/5 Tips: * can call to pre-order ahead. * continues health and safety protocols. Would I Return: Yes ‍

Absolutely amazing authentic korean fried chicken place! What more can you ask for? You got hot and crispy , saucy, finger-lickin good chicken, cold beer, and sumptuous cheese balls and tteobokki....wow!! Apparently this chain is very very popular in korea, as per my korean buddy. And of course it did not disappoint! Ive tried the dasarang chicken, but this place is better. Chicken pieces were huge and fried as you order. Sauce was tangy and very flavourful. Love it ! Quality and taste all there. Chicken was not dry. Very juicy. Crispy coating was not overdone. Delicious!! The cheese balls were oozing with mozarella cheese upon being sliced. Inside was still smoking. Service was quick. Covid protocols excellent. Each table had a hand sanitizer bottle. Servers very attentive. Napkins and wet towels readily available. They have beers by the pitcher! Heaven!! Already making plans of going back!! Cheers! Happy eating!

Yes, this is no ordinary fried chicken joint if you have watched the popular korean drama Crash Landing on You! I ordered the Soy Garlic Chicken+ Cheesling Chicken + Cheese Balls. Out of the two flavours I tried I was quite surprise how much I liked the Cheesling flavour! It reminds me of that powdery cheese I use to love in microwave popcorns! And those cheese balls are soo good! Savoury, creamy and a bit of stringy cheese in the inside and mochi chewiness on the outside! For those who prefer dark meat I would recommend ordering the wings as I find them more moist, but it does have a bit less meat than the chickens in the whole size or 8 piece orders. If you are thinking of giving them a try I would highly recommend ordering advance! When I called in to order in a Friday evening it was about a 40 min wait.

My korean friend highly recommended this restaurant, she said this was the best fried chicken in Vancouver. We went here with high expectations. We arrived around 12:15; we were the first group of guest seated. We ordered 8pcs of the following: soy garlic chicken, secret sauce chicken, and the golden original fried chicken! As well as a side of secret sauce fries. Being the first seated guests, we know we will get the freshly fried chicken that we admirably anticipated. It was a busy lunch rush hour, so we had to wait for 40 minutes or so, but it is all worth it!!!! When the chicken came it was juicy inside, crispy outside! Most importantly the secret sauce really blow us away! It has a great mixture of taste! On top of that, they are not greasy or oily! We ate one after another! Next time we will try the boneless chicken! As for service, the server is very attentive and always keep a big smile on her face even when guests are impatient with their orders. Overall, the experience is very delightful. We packed some leftover chicken to go and re-heat it as part of dinner. The taste and the tenderness are still there! Definitely needs to try their original and special sauce fried chicken!

What happens when you watch too many Korean drama lately and they keep showing you this fried chicken place? You just have to go and try some. I was overjoyed to find out that we have this chain in Canada as well! After binging the whole series of Crashing Landing on You and caught up on the King, the next thing that I need to do is to get the famous fried chicken. We went to the restaurant to order and it look an hour for our order to get ready. I was really hungry by the time our order is ready. Was it worth the wait? It was okay. It was not bad but some pieces were dry and tastes under season. I am not sure whether it will be this long we well once dine in option is available again.

Ever since I got introduced to bbq chicken, I've been hooked! It's a popular korean fried chicken chain that I've seen advertised in a bunch of kdramas. So glad I have it here now. Located in a plaza where Hmart is. Call ahead! I had to wait 30-45 minutes but it was worth it. 3 boxes of eight piece chicken was a little more than $40+ total and they dont just give you thighs and leg but other parts of the chicken. The battered skin is so thin and it doesn't feel too greasy as they deep fry in olive oil. It comes with pickled radish as a pallet cleanser and I'd recommend having beer or a fizzy drink to wash it down. Soy garlic was my favourite out of the 4 I've tried. Salty, slightly sweet. I can literally eat a whole box of that. The gangnam style (yes, that's actually what it's called) was spicy from the chopped peppers and savoury. The secret sauce chicken is a yangneom sauce so its spicy and sweet. My least favourite was the golden not sauced version. It's definitely not bad at all but the other flavours were way too good to compare with this one.

This is the best KFC (Korean fried chicken) in town so far. My favourite is the cheesling wings. It's been super popular in Korean in the last 2 years or so, and this is the first and probably only place that serves it in Metro Vancouver area. The golden fried chicken is crispy, juicy and tender. Secret sauce chicken is yummy too, but would be better with just a little bit of kick, but it's just for my own taste. Sir-Fried Chicken was one of my fave too, super delicious. Prawn sticks were very crispy and soft, not dry at all.

Staff are friendly but understaffed. Once the place filled up they were swamped. Signature steamed seafood pot - definitely on the pricey side, but they don't skimp out. Special mention for the presentation. Plenty of goodies including an entire lobster, half a large octopus (tenticle/arm half), snails, oysters, scallops, prawns, and fish balls among others. Basically everything without fish. Served in a large tray (the ones seen at banquet buffets), and everything cooked in broth. This was enough to probably feed 4-5 adults (assuming average appetites). So pretty. Deep fried squid with fries - honestly this dish was meh. Basically exactly what it sounds like. Squid is tempura style. Nothing special. I'd skip this one. Bossam (pork belly wraps) - served with tofu and spicy kimchi and some vegetable (kelp?) as well. They don't really give enough wraps compared to the pork slices. Decent portion size. My friends and I gobbled this up. This place also serves makgeolli (Korean rice wine) for a very reasonable price. Goes well with the food. Overall my friends and I left happy. Wouldn't mind coming back at some point to try some other dishes. Recommended.

We also ordered their seafood pancake which was perfectly crispy and not too thin or thick. The actual bbq grill itself was the best one I've seen at a Korean restaurant because it was non-stick, temperature controlled really well, and it didn't leave us smelling like the food after dining. The ventilation must've been good here as it wasn't super smoky at all. The best dish was definitely the bean paste soup! We all loved it and had never tried it before, so next time we have Korean, it will be a staple in our order! It wasn't too busy last night so we were seated right away.
