Chicko Chicken Korean Style Yeah.. Finally I have tried this Korean chicken franchised restaurant. We only ordered half Padak Padak which was deep fried chicken with sweet tangy soy-mustard sauce with green onions. The deep fried boneless chicken nuggets were crunchy crispy outside and juicy inside with overwhelming green onions ... The sauce was perfect and delicious with the nuggets. It came with a small side radish pickles. Taste: 4.5/5 Follow me @eatisvibikki #eatisvibikki #vibikki #lovetoeat #koreanstyle #koreanfood #friedchicken #padakpadak #chickochicken #getinmybelly #fullbelly #yelpvancouver #yelp #eat #drink #vancouverfoodies #vancouverfoodie #frenchdessert #vancityfoodie #vancouver #richmond #instafood #instagood #foodblogger #foodbloggers #foodstagram #richmondeats #canada #supportlocal #nomnomnom #cameraeatfirst

One of the best Korean fried chicken we've had!!! Love that you can order it in wings or boneless. Boneless is also dark meat which makes it so much better and juicier. Always make it a point to eat here whenever we're visiting. A must try if you've never been. You won't be disappointed if you're a fried chicken lover.

New opened Korean fried chicken store in Richmond which located in the Kam Do Plaza. We are so excited to know the opening and finally we don't have to drive all the way to Coquitlam or Burnaby for good KFC. We have an easy oreder experience through their website and just pick up at the store. The items are ordered this time: * Padak Padak chicken (Half order $14): Boneless tender juicy fried chicken with sweet tangy soy-mustard sauce and green onion on the top. Love this item and thanks for making the sauce separate so we can dip it when we eat. The chicken keep its crispness even it gets cold. The crispy skin is just at the right amount. * Cheese Snow chicken (Half order $13): Boneless juicy chicken with cheese seasoning. The cheese powder is unique that tastes sweet and cheesy. It's very good and I like it a lot. Good item that can pair with the pickled radish. Free pickled radish included if you order half order and free drink if you order Full. Definitely will come back for more in the nearly future!

In support of the franchisee, I am posting this review because I didn't post one earlier, and because the place is shut until further notice due to a family illness since October 11, 2022. I hope that they get through the problems as this is a great little spot and the food and the vibe are very good. You will never get `fast food' here because it's made to order, so be prepared to wait 20 minutes to get the order and you should let it cool down for at least another 10 minutes. I don't know if the folks at Yelp can update to open/close information because it been dark inside for 5 months now. Just to avoid people being disappointed on arrival.

ALL ORDERS comes with a FREE side of pickled radish & you also get a drink if you get a full box. Cheese snow ($13/half box): There was a good amount of cheese seasoning & the chicken is crunchier than the other flavors since there's no actual sauce! Half & half box ($24 - choose 2 flavors: original, soy garlic, yangyeom, buldak, haek) Yangyeom: I love the balance of sweet & spicy, and this flavor is usually more mild however there's quite a kick to it once you eat more! Very flavorful & saucy! Soy garlic : Such a classic flavor, always goes well with chicken! It wasn't too sweet and I didn't taste any garlic at all Shake shake fries ($3): They used the same cheese seasoning as the chicken but it was still delicious! The fries got soggy after 30 mins which was expected. TIPS & RECOMMENDATIONS! - Order through their website or app before going. You'll be able to pick up your order right away at your preferred time! Plus, you can collect points through their app. Walk-in wait time is around 20 mins. - Get the boneless chicken! You can choose between boneless or bone-in, but boneless has more meat & it's less messy to eat! Each half box comes w/ 8-10 pieces of chicken. - Get half sizes so you can enjoy more flavors.

I tried boneless soy garlic and buldak. Both flavours are sooo nice! They are quite crispy even with lots of yummy sauce! Buldak is spicyyyyy but still delicious! I gonna try other flavours next time.

Very tasty chicken. Service is also good, too. Korean cheese is very different from regular cheese but taste good. Enjoy

Like how they leave multiple tea pots and water on the tables. 24 items on the menu; appetizers, KFC, BBQ hot plate, rice & noodle and soup & stews. Banchan can be refilled once for free. We opted for medium spice (which was extremely mild). - Banchan - glazed potatoes (standard), kimchi (good kick) and bean sprouts (refreshing). - Seafood pancake ($25.99 large) - decent. - Chicken wings ($10.99) and boneless chicken balls ($11.99 for 7) - wings were standard, balls didn't have much of a crispy bite. - Pork bone hotpot ($37.99 small) - came with two bowls of rice. Reasonable amount of pork with a few potatoes, jalapeños and green onions. Broth was light and lacked depth. - Galbi beef short-rib hot plate ($29.99) - came with a salad. Short ribs were tender and juicy. - Bulgogi stir fried udon ($16.99) - the udon didn't have much texture, sauce wasn't satisfying. Skip it. - Seafood soft tofu stew ($15.99) - good amount of tofu but the broth was one-dimensional. Have had much better sundubu jjigae. Not bad but nothing exciting at DKC to warrant a return visit.

This strikes a nearly perfect balance, and the seafood is perfectly cooked. Their half kimchi pancake is also tasty (including with the lunch set) Kimchi Fried Rice: my favourite fried rice. Slightly spicy from the kimchi (gochujang) but with beef and a runny fried egg on top. 10/10 5 stars. It is a small and unassuming restaurant but the food here is spectacular and service is also wonderful. Pictured down below is some of my biggest go to dishes. The seafood pancake is a must! It is very thick (thicker than a slice of pizza), very delicious, and filled with seafood variety. My favourite part however is the sauce. I have no idea what they put in it but it is sweet, sour, and pairs so nicely to cut the greasiness of the pancake. Next, I always choose to order a soup when I come to So Hyang. They have a great spicy tofu soup! This time around, we went for non-spicy soybean soup as my friend can't handle spice. It was still flavourful and hearty for the soul, especially on a cold day. Finally, my next favourite pick is the bossam or pork belly. The great thing about the pork belly here is that they come with a variety of sides. I like the varieties of pickled vegetables as well as the special shrimp krill mixture (that I can't recall the name of) that they don't serve all the time at other restaurants. The bossam is guaranteed to give you a satisfying flavour and texture explosion. These 3 dishes were enough to stuff my friend and I AND give us leftovers for another two people. Although the food came out to be $50 per person, it did not feel like a lot as we had so much left to take home. The low-back chairs open up into a storage basket that you can put your jacket inside. Menu is available via scanning QR code, but you still have to order from the staff. We got the spicy pork belly (with lettuce for wraps), the salt and oil beef rib fingers, and the fried rice which is cooked on the grill top. The staff cooks the meat for you on the grill. The rib fingers are tender, while the spicy pork belly make for a good lettuce wrap with the kimchi and bean sprouts they also put on the grill. To wrap it up, the fried rice is cooked after all of the meat, so the rice can soak up the flavors and grease from meat left on the grill. Pretty tasty overall. Also you get 8 banchans for table. Overall bill was little under $80, which was a little lower than I expected.
