Snowing Snowing Maxx Cheese Chicken - Family Size, original and shake Shack-Shack Fries (130 G)

I love this chicken and we came from the US just to get it! True Korean style crunch and unique flavors. The staff is so kind. We had the original, cheese and garlic soy chicken. Don't forget the shake shake fries. We will come back next time!

I saw a sign for beyond meat chicken and I was immediately intrigued. This place is usually busy and I see that they have tteokbokki which I love! Unfortunately, it has fish sauce so I had to pass but it looks so good. Their menu is pretty big and they have a ton of options. They also have several vegetarian and vegan options which is so nice! I got their beyond meat, spicy with their shake fries and a side of coleslaw. Huge portions but on the pricier side. This meal is just shy of $30! The nuggets are really good but I wasn't a huge fan of the sauce. It was a sweet chilli and not spicy at all. The shaker fries is a bag full of fresh fries and a side of cheese flavour. Strange combo but super good. The coleslaw is very fresh and flavourful and it came with pickled radish which added a nice crunch! The server was very sweet and although the place is small, they have several tables and a large TV to watch the game on!

NeNe Chicken, originating from South Korea, offers a variety of Korean flavours, highlighted by their signature fried chicken. We tried their signature dishes during our visit, including a half-and-half combo of ORIGINAL and SWICY fried chicken. Each bite was a delightful explosion of crunchy goodness on the outside and juicy tenderness inside. But NeNe Chicken isn't just about fried chicken; we also explored their NENE K-TOWN Menu. The TTEOK-BOK-KI, topped with a layer of melted CHEESE, was a true highlight. The rice cakes were soft and chewy, perfectly complemented by the subtly spicy yet slightly sweet sauce. Pairing it with their Korean Fried Chicken elevated the experience to new heights. The HIGHWAY UDON was a comforting dish served in a warm soup with fried tofu slices. After indulging in the rich flavours of the fried chicken, the udon soup helps balance our taste buds. The HAWAIIAN-TERRI BURGER features a crispy chicken patty paired with a slice of pineapple. The combination was so unexpected, with the sweetness of the pineapple complementing their fried chicken. Who would think of putting pineapple into the burger? Brilliant! What sets NeNe Chicken apart is not just the quality of their food but also their affordability. Food: 5/5 Must Try! Service: Eatery Kids: 4/5 Yay! They have non-spicy flavour. Presentation: 2/5 Parking: Paid street parking Tips: * find a table, scan the QR code, and place the order (convenient ordering system). * can have 10% off on the first order online. * offer excellent lunch specials at a great price point. * provide handy finger gloves and wet wipes. * have INFLATION DAILY SPECIAL from Monday to Thursday 12:00 pm to 4:30 pm. Would I Return: Yes ‍

I've eaten in and gotten take out from here and the food is always really good. Really fresh and yummy, and not greasy at all for fried chicken. I've had their sandwiches that are also really yummy. Everytime we've ordered for pick up it's been ready at the time they say it will be, and the staff is super friendly too. The only kind of "complaint" I would have isn't anything I'd remove a star over because I don't really blame them. They often have "buy one get one free" offers on UberEats but the price for 1 is listed as $10 more than 1 typically is. A lot of the prices on UberEats are much higher than if you order them directly (and if you order pick up directly from their website you get 10% off your first order). I can't really blame them because I know UberEats takes a large part of their profit, but also you signed up for it and it's a bit dishonest to pass the costs if that on to the consumer imo. But UberEats is highly predatory so I don't really blame them for doing that, but it's still something to be aware of. Food and service are still 5Star to me. If you choose to eat in it's a cute little place, kind of typically fast food but more quaint and more clean, and the convenient is super location as well.

I stopped by this evening to pick up a family size order of the boneless chicken. Flavor-wise, I opted for the "swicy" and cheese. If you've had honey butter chips before, that's the flavor I got with the cheese seasoning. The swicy flavoring is saucy and is definitely not a spicy sauce at all: it's tangy, sweet, and sticky. As such, you can expect your wings to not be as crispy as the cheese flavor which is a dry seasoning. For $34 and change, you're getting a good amount of food. Perfect for a group of three. I ordered in store and it took about 15 minutes for the wings to be prepared. Thank you Instagram for directly me to this wing spot. Definitely worth a stop if you're craving KFC.

Nene chicken on davis street really be filling the streets with more delicious Korean dishes and street food. We got to try some of their newer items and it was pretty good. Magic tofu dice ($11.95) ~ this was good it was small tofu and it had a nice crispy exterior and soft tofu center. The seasoning was good, and the soy garlic flavor was nice. Good vegan option which is nice to see on the menu. 7/10. Hawaiian Teri Combo ($13.901) ~ this burger was good the chicken was crispy and juicy and the pineapple slice was juicy and super sweet. We also got shack shack fries with this (+$1.00) the fries were good and im obsessed with the cheesy seasoning. 8/10. Rose tteokbokki ($18.95) ~ the ricecakes were chewy and perfectly cooked. It was more sweet than spicy which is nice for those who cant eat too spicy. I liked the flavoring and how rich it was. 9/10. Double double Chicken ($34.95) ~ we got the variety pack chicken which is perfect for sharing and it was a good portion. It came with original, snowing cheese, soy garlic, and the creamy onion chicken - the creamy onion and snowy cheese was my favorite ones. The chicken was juicy and delicious in wish it had a bit more crunch but overall pretty good. 7/10. I definitely see myself coming back I honestly love their fries and tteokbokki.

What better way to enjoy the last few weeks of summer than with takeout food and sunset picnics We Ordered: Shack-Shack Fries $5.20 Onion Rings $4.95 Boneless Range (Family Size, half and half SWICY & ORIGINAL) $35.95 It's obvious they've put a lot of thought into their customer satisfaction because their takeout packaging is amazing! Not only does it look good, but it is also very convenient. The chicken was delicious - coated with a thick batter and fried to perfection. The Swicy sauce is a must try, just note that it is more towards the sweet side rather than spicy. I asked if they had provided cutlery and tissue and they said yes, but when we opened the box we didn't find anything and had difficulty eating. Make sure to double-check your order so you don't end up having the same problem we did.

Half boneless snowing chilli, half boneless soy garlic and YES burger

Ordered ahead via Phone and told them a pick up time of 3:15pm. My order was sitting there when I got to the store. I paid at the till and got my order. It was still hot and fresh. I ordered half boneless snowing chilli, the half boneless soy garlic and the yes burger. The boneless snowing chilli was pretty delicious. It wasn't overly spicy, had a bit of sweetness to it. I found the chicken a tad dry but pretty crispy. The pieces are quite big and enough to feed 3-4 people. The boneless soy garlic was a bit too sweet for me. Wish there was a big more garlic flavour. Again chicken was pretty crispy but a bit dry. The yes burger.. wait for it.. tasted like the McDonald's big Mac with fried chicken. Their NeNe secret creamy sauce tasted like a big Mac. The chicken was juicy here and pretty crispy almost like Church's chicken sandwiches. The bun was too soft and kind of melted with the sauce. If you like the big mac sauce you will probably like this sandwich. Overall, I had high hopes for NeNes chicken but after trying it I was kind of let down. It isn't the best Korean fried chicken I've had in Vancouver but also not the worse. I found the prices somewhat high for what you get and also the chicken isn't as crispy as other places. Overall wouldn't recommend NeNes and I also wouldn't visit again. I would say if you haven't tried it though, you should. It might just be your cup of tea.

This place has been on my list forever and I'm so glad I finally got the change to try this cool spot. The double double chicken is such a good concept, I'm always torn between different korean fried chicken flavours and this is my first time seeing a place offer FOUR in one order. All of them were pretty good. Snowing Cheese is always my fave but I gotta say the sweet sauce on the Creamyon is fire, wouldn't mind if there was just a little more of it. The chicken itself also really stood out by being some of the absolute juiciest I've had in town. One piece of Swicy chicken even DRIPPED when I bit into it?! Like woooooow. Onion rings I just haven't had in forever so I had to try some haha. They were big and somehow not greasy which was very nice. The batter was not the crispiest but had lots of flavour, so it evened out. Not a bad choice for a side. Thank you again to Nene Chicken for the hospitality and great food. Definitely a spot worth checking off your KFC list!

Having tried multiple Korean fried chicken spots across the city, I have to say that Nene Chicken definitely knocked it out of the park for me! I used a food delivery app to place my first order, so I can't comment on the "in-person feel" of this location, but right off the bat, I was quite surprised with how much detail was put into their takeaway packaging. My order felt secure and nothing had spilled at all. To feed a party of two, I opted for the Boneless Classic Range Half & Half, picking Hot Bling and Soy Garlic as my two flavours, and I also got an order of Shack-Shack fries and pickled radish as well. Both types of chicken were deliciously crunchy and juicy, and had ample amounts of respective flavouring sauce. The gochujang sauce on the Hot Bling chicken was perfectly balanced, and didn't sway too sweet or too sour at all. The soy garlic sauce was immensely tasty and paired so well with the crispy chicken. Even though my order took around 40 minutes from being placed online to being received at home, the chicken had not become soggy like one might expect with such a time frame. As for the sides, the Shack-Shack fries were quite standard in comparison to other cheese powder coated fries you'd see offered at other Korean fried chicken restaurants, so perhaps my only critique and suggestion for further flavour augmentation would be for more cheese powder to be provided, or for the cheese flavouring itself to be enhanced somehow. Lastly, turning my attention to the pickled radish, I was very happily surprised by the portion that I received, considering that it was an extra $2. The two sizeable containers that I received were plentiful, and the radish itself wasn't too sour from too much vinegar like other pickled radish I've had before. All in all, having considered every aspect of my review, I'd have to give Nene Chicken 5 stars out of 5 for my experience!

NeNe Chicken (pronounced neh-neh) is a Korean fried chicken chain that recently made a mark in Vancouver's growing fried chicken scene The unique value that @nenechickenca brings is their special batter and variety of flavours The batter is thick and coats the chicken well and the frying process ensures a crispy shell while locking in all the chicken juices chicken Paired with their popular flavours of either spicy or snowing cheese, your taste buds are in for a ride. The spicy option uses Korean pepper paste, gochujang, is sweet and savoury; while the snowing cheese is a dry seasoning combination with loaded cheese flavours Both are great to be eaten as a standalone or with fries/ onion rings With generous serving sizes, you are guaranteed to hug your belly right after! A nice finishing touch is their pickled raddish which helps to cut the fattiness in your final few bites. So happy to see them now open a shop in downtown on Davie St!

5/5 because everything was executed so well. Very clean interior, great service even though it's considered more of a fast food establishment in my opinion, and the food was spectacular. The chicken was extremely juicy, and the fries were some of the best I've had for a while. Would highly recommend checking them out if you're craving KFC!

    Jacqueline L.

Really solid korean fried chicken! Love the bright interior too. We got the garlic soy which is soo flavorful and the original is your standard krispy fried chicken. I recommend getting the sauce flavors since the original felt a little bit dry at the end. The radish side dish is bomb! I also love that they give you these plastic finger gloves so you don't need to deal with messy fingers.

Grandma wasn't so much into the milkshake part of the snack. Vegan Crush Fries were just as good as last time. Grandma commented several times on how tasty they were. That's a big win in my books. Always happy to hear of anything that makes my mom happy! I enjoyed the crispiness of the Vegan nuggets but flavor wise I think they were just OK. The dip is very much needed for these nuggets. On their own, they don't really have much flavor. I recommend breaking them into smaller pieces and then dipping those smaller pieces before eating them as they were piping hot and biting into it as is might burn your tongue. Found that out the hard way! I was pretty impressed with how well the nuggets retained their heat! Loved the Vegan milkshake! We ordered the Vanilla flavored Vegan milkshake and it was soooo good. The menu says that it's made from coconut milk ice cream. I couldn't taste any coconut milk flavor. All I tasted was Vanilla and it was sooooo good! Super impressed with the Vegan milkshake at Burger Crush. They absolutely crushed it with their Vegan milkshake!

Solid reviews on Yelp had us on the way. What a great little spot! There used to be so many diners of this style, it's a shame so many are no longer there for us to enjoy a simpler time. It's 100% diner right down to the mini juke boxes in each booth to the red and chrome bar stools. Even found an old Kellogg's individual cereal box display like one we had in my parents diner in Ontario, that was very cool! The service was spot on with our two servers working in unison to get waters, tea, orders, delivering food, cleaning up like a well oiled team. They even have old fashioned milk shakes and an Hamilton Beach machine to blend them up. WOW, nostalgia. The food came out quickly and was cooked exactly as we asked, and it was plentiful and a solid breakfast for the price. My potatoes were a little greasy, to me, but everything else was perfect. The bacon, three slices, of good quality and perfectly crispy as ordered. We will most certainly return to The Templeton when downtown again.
