I order burgers from here regularly. I am giving this place a 3 star because the burgers are good most of the time, depending on who is in the kitchen. Other times not so much. And almost every single time I order, they are not able to take my order correctly, even when I show them the emailed receipt. I am not sure if this is because the menus changed recently or they just don't get it. I feel bad writing this review but this needs to be addressed. Long time customer here. Food has gone downhill. I've ordered twice from them through skip the dishes and the food has been incredibly over cooked and soggy. The most recent order was completely wrong and the mushrooms that were added were long past expiry. Ruined the entire burger. On top of that , it was missing key parts to what I had ordered. I called to speak to a manager about the awful food this time around and was basically told it wasn't their problem. Will be taking my money else where. Too bad. read more

Well if you like cold burgers and fries I guess you came to the right place. The fries may have tasted better if I got them hot. But after removing the fries from the fryer, then taking two order before giving them to me might have been the reason why. They don't heat the buns let alone toast them. I get it you don't want things to go bad, but when you put cold lettuce and tomatoes on a cold bun, the hot beef patty magically goes cold. The beef patty was the only thing that I ended up eating and it was luke warm and you could tell they don't use quality beef. We were really hungry too and that normally make everything taste better but not this time. So what am I paying for here? The delightful atmosphere. Decent food with an OK veggie burger, but super small portions for the astronomical prices they charge. To add insult to injury, after getting sticker shock by spending $50 on two combos, they wouldn't give us another lousy cup of sour cream without an extra charge. This level of nickeling and dimeing customers for this quality of food and at this price is wholly unacceptable. Come expecting to shell out for everything, with McDonald's-like service at three times the price. Don't forget the tip. read more

Not quite the LA experience but solid nonetheless. Ok, so I am a big Los Angeles burger dude. And lets face it, they have got a fair amount to choose from. So when Fatburger made its way up to Canadaland via Rickys (how did that happen) I was pleased but not sure how it would turn out. Turns out after many visits that they have a solid experience for you, if a little pricey. The burgers themselves are great. The toppings are good too. The problem is with the bun. Its usually a little dry or just kind of... off tasting, plus they are not toasted. The fries are alright, the milkshakes really good. Its nice having the jukebox around as well, you get some good tunes on the occasions people use it! Regarding the staff, they do have one girl, blond, who generally seems miserable to be there, though she has been there for some time now. If you don't get her, most of the others are great. I like the dude with the ManRam dreads working the grill, reminds me of being in LA with his tats and bandana... Tip: They don't list it on the toppings menu, but you can ask for the onions to be grilled, bringing it a little closer to In n Out Burger's "Animal Style", though not exact. read more

Excellent juicy burgers with a range of choices like California, BBQ, and mushroom mozza cheese with different types of fries to choose from. The curly fries with a dash of house spice is delicious. I placed an order online via Skip the Dishes. Very simple order of two burgers and fries. We were provided with an estimated 36-54min delivery wait. After an hour and 5min we contacted Fatburger enquiring as to the delay and the manager advised that our burger and fries had been sitting on the counter waiting for half an hour to be picked up. Apparently the Skip the Dishes courier was running late. The issue that arises is that Fatburger was quite happy to provide the courier with our meal for delivery that had already been sitting for more than half an hour on the counter. Really!? No attempt at follow by Fatburger staff as to why it was taking more than half an hour to be picked up. Did they really think that the customer would be pleased with their burger and fries after sitting on the counter for that long (plus the delivery time). No pride in their product or service. This lack of customer service is baffling and unacceptable. read more

The concept of this place is great... but like so many movies with a great story idea... they never quite deliver the oscar. Fat Burger is supposed to be a great burger experience, but is more of a "high school cafeteria" bad dream. It does get points for authenticity of the cafeteria experience though. Complete with grumpy greasy lunch lady, uncomfortable chairs, line ups for marginal food and a cold atmosphere. They are trying so hard to do diner quality but nobody told them they are have accidentally landed the time machine in High School hell. read more

My wife and I went for the first time today and found poor value for what we paid. Boneless chicken wings were overcooked and very rubbery. My wife's Burger was definitely not a quarter pound burger. Kk it's not the worst. However it's definitely not worth the prices one pays for a combo. Ingot the regular bacon cheese burger combo. Came to over 16 dollars. More than a gourmet burger at a sit down restaurant but not the quality. The fries aren't even fresh cut. At least triple o's has home cut fries for the price paid. Listen it's not bad here.
