    Cheese veggie $4.25 I think
    Ally S.

2.5/5 I got the veggie cheese sandwich ($4.25 I think). I got it without mushrooms and green peppers, but I added jalapeños and mayo. I ended up taking the tomatoes out. Aside from the sauce and grilled onions, there wasn't anything amazing about it. I also got Cajun fries ($3.69 for the small). Although the actual container it comes in is really small, they put SO many fries. It was good and well seasoned. I also got a regular sized drink, so whole bill came to $10ish. I'm glad I tried it once, it I don't see myself ever going back.

    Five Guys Port Coquitlam exterior

Is this the best burger you will ever have? No. But they are very good for the price. They are a lot better than most fast food joints. I was glad to learn one was opening in Port Coquitlam as I had tried Five Guys a number of times in the states. At this location, expect long lines and waits for your food during peak dinner hours on Friday/Saturday & Sunday; at least while people are still discovering this place. The burgers are why you come here. You can customize the toppings as you choose. Go All the Way ;) They are loaded, big, messy and good. A regular burger is two patties while a little burger is one pattie. They are anything but little. The fries are good as well, but a little greasy for my taste. Even a small fries is good for two people. They always add another scoop of fries into your bag. If you can finish a regular bacon cheeseburger and large fries, you will need to be carried out on a stretcher.

Great quality burger! Learned my lesson on the fries ... order the small unless you want lunch for the week too.

I was made to wait over 20 minutes for the order, and at the end, the staff treated me rudely and gave negative feedback unfairly. This is not the first time this branch has delayed orders, and whenever I raise a concern, employees respond disrespectfully. Management should address this issue to prevent it from happening again.

You choose mild or spicy, dark or white meat. I was there tonight at 5:30pm and they were out of white meat... not a huge deal for me but it might be a big deal for others. I also ordered a 5 piece meal. They gave me 3 drumsticks and 2 thighs. The thighs are twice the size of the drumsticks. The service is not very accommodating. The chicken tenders doesn't come with a dip?? And when I told them they were for toddlers and it is a bit dry for them, they offered up some mayo packets. They don't give you any ketchup, napkins or utensils unless you ask even though I ordered Mac and cheese which you clearly need a fork for. Overall, they just seem quite stingy. One of the fountain drink machines was broken. The lids and straws were just kinda there. There was just two tables sitting in. Overall ambience just seems like a takeaway place. There isn't much competition like a churches or a kfc nearby so I'd likely come back for fried chicken if I was in the area.

The menu had a good selection and the servers try to offer drinks and fruit bowl upgrades. The PurWestern Omelette ($19.75) was pretty over done so not for my liking. I was hoping for light a fluffy and omelette. The Canadian Breakfast ($20.75) was pretty tasty with 2 eggs, 3 Bacon, 1 breakfast sausage and ham and I chose the half waffle, cubed potatoes, fruit plus toast. The waffle tasted great but the ham was very thin. The restaurant was busy and loud but food didn't take long. They have high chairs and a kids menu but no plastic cutlery and small bowls for kids.

The eggs were some of the orangest, most vibrant yolks I've ever seen (a sign of quality, for sure), and they were perfectly poached. The cheeseburger patty underneath was super flavorful--well-seasoned, juicy, and honestly just worked so well with the hollandaise. It's a bold dish and they absolutely nailed it. The quality of everything stood out--fresh ingredients, great flavor, and a presentation that actually made me pause before digging in. Inside, the restaurant is gorgeous--bright, clean, and stylish without trying too hard. The vibe was relaxed but modern, and it's the kind of place you could bring a friend for a casual breakfast or stay and sip coffee for a while. Definitely a standout spot. Highly recommend!
