    BIIIIIG burger coming up!
    Kenneth W.

This time, we went big. And I mean BIG. I went for the 1/2 lb Kingburger and my buddy chose the double king. Yeap! That means two 1/2 lb patties, making it a full 1 lb burger. And oooooh, when you include the onion ring, which is free, it sure stacks up, especially when the staff played with my friend by giving him two onion rings piled up over the two patties, cheese, lettuce, and tomato, you get a 6 inch tall burger. What a sight! The best part? Why...the burger itself, of course. Soooo juicy. Soooo beefy. I like mine with double BBQ sauce. So between that and the oil from the burger, the juicy burger is absolutely succulent. The best thing about eating at Fatburger is nobody cares how messy you get. Some say the Chinese custom is the more messily you eat, the more you are enjoying the food. And enjoy we did. Their menu is getting better too. We'll be back!

I came here to have milkshake and poutine. Milkshake was good but a little sweet and poutine was amazing as always!! I try to limit my fast food intake so deciding to go to Fat burger was a big deal to me. It was pretty busy right after I got my food, whew! Friendly staff. Will come back again.

So called a healthy person craving for burger on weekend. Hmm... Besides Wendy's I found another good burger nearby me. It's small and cozy shop on Broadway and Alberta Street's corner. There are few parking spots in front of shop and a lot of meter parking around the block. The staffs were very friendly and efficient. I ordered mushroom burger with yam fries. OMG! What a GIANT burger! It made with real lean beef and mushroom when I ordered. The burger was juicy and delicious! Yam fries were tasty! Based on Fat burger nutrition chart, mushroom burger under 900 Calorgies and 60 gram fat! Sounds not bad and not feel guilty at all. Even though the burger price at expensive side, I would say it's worth it and get the stamp card for buy 6 get 1 free.

Best best best hamburgers so far in Vancouver. Juicy Meat, great flavor, Hawaiian is the best! Trust me.

Came here after craving burgers. I'm from California and while I can't find an In N Out, Shake Shack, or any of the regular go-to's here, I was SO relieved to have found a Fatburger. Service was prompt and friendly without the common overdoing it some other places struggle with. One look at the menu and it was clear that there were several winners. We settled for the Mushroom Swiss and California burgers and after a short wait we were enjoying some of the best burgers around. Very pleased to be sharing our experience. This Fatburger on West Broadway is worth visiting when craving burgers or anything tasty for that matter. Their fries look amazing and I'll have to try them next time!

I went here after work and was treated poorly in the beginning but I waited for the food anyway. I'm glad I didn't give this location a good tip because The cashier yelled "bad tip to the back as I walked to the outside where we await our food. Very disapointing. Who knows what that means right? At home the burger dripped with what looked like tonnes of water just picking it up and tasted liked it too with grease mixed in. And the box of wings was mashed in completly. I didn't have an appetite anymore. Not worth the extra money you pay to avoid another night of the common fast foods joints. Fat burger I downloaded the Yelp app for you.

This was my first Fatburger experience and it did not disappoint. I wasn't walking in expecting a gourmet burger, just something simple, quick and tasty on the way back. The burger and fries I had were definitely delicious. Everything was fresh. The one thing that stuck out to me was the diced relish they put on the burger. I'm not a big relish fan, but I may be now after that combination. My first time here and can't deny it hit the spot.

    Juicy burger, tasty rings...

I know, it's a chain. But it's a GOOD chain, at least, I have no complaints. (I won't even bother to think about reviewing most of the other "fast food" burger chains, so you know this had to be pretty good for me to write about it). I've eaten at two different Fatburgers - one on West Broadway in Vancouver, one in Ladner - and I went away happy-happy-happy both times. At West Broadway, I opted for the double cheeseburger with onion rings. I practically inhaled it - it was juicy, thick, tasty - the rings were pretty darn good, too. For a drink, I sucked down one of their Mocha-Java shakes. Yummy! It was really thick. Was it as good as a "real" milkshake made in the old-fashioned steel mixing cups? Nah...but it was still pretty good. In Ladner, I picked the "build your own burger" option. I "built" a Mexi-burger, with guacamole, chili and pepperjack cheese. Better still! Since the rings didn't disappoint the previous time, they were heaped in my basket once again. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. This time, I washed it down with an ice cold Corona. (Hey, I was doing Mexican, right?) This time, the Divine Ms. K. accompanied me, and she chose the chicken sandwich. She said it was "okay" but she didn't rave about it. That doesn't affect my ultimate rating though, because I figure if you go to a hamburger joint, you should probably order burgers. If you choose anything else, it's at your own peril. While there are a couple of other burger places I'd rather go to in the Lower Mainland, if I'm running around doing errands, I'm hungry and I'm near a Fatburger, there will be no hesitation on my part...

Came with a groupon and honestly, i don't find these burgers much different than any others. I am not a HUGE fan so might not be the best judge either but it tasted standard. Being a deal, it was a good price but I wouldn't return all the way to this location just to satisfy a burger craving. You do get to customize sauces and toppings to your liking though, but in a burger, it often just tastes like salt and ketchup.

It's summer time, I crave a juicy burger with all the works. So I checked out my local Fatburger just opened not long ago. I ordered a single combo which comes fries and refillable drinks. I like the made to order burger and the no seed burger is the way I like it. Burger was juicy and the fries was made fresh and a refreshing drink of your choice to wash it all down. The only drawback was the price, $11 and change and it will be even more steep after HST come out in July. I think I will just save a few bucks and BBQ at home.

I got the vegetable burrito bowl. It was good but I sort of felt like there was no unifying element to it at first, but when I thoroughly mixed everything together to get the sauce distributed, that made it much better. After mixing it was pretty tasty, but a little heavy on the sauce. FYI the "marinated fried tofu" in the veg bowl is inari, not block tofu. I also got a glass of Asahi, which was nice - it's Asahi. I wasn't blown away, but it was a good quick meal that definitely beats out chain fast food.

This Mcdonalds is unique because there are no chairs and tables anywhere near the stand-alone mall…read morerestaurant. There are also no self-serve computer order kiosks. Eating in is not an option. Note that I came around 9pm on a Monday so maybe they took all the tables away earlier. Years ago when I visited this location, they had many chairs and tables just outside and inside the restaurant. Due to the awful area, a lot of homeless people were hanging around just sitting. Not necessarily eating. Now with the chairs and tables gone, there are barely any of them hanging around so I guess it's for the better. It didn't eliminate the problem entirely because as soon as I stepped out of the restaurant area I was asked a couple times by several people for a "rolling paper", extra change, or a lighter. Also, I noticed some of the windows of the restaurant were broken and boarded up with plywood. Yikes. It was VERY hot out (30 degrees!) So I decided to visit this McDonalds for a cheap but delicious frozen treat. I wanted to try their new peach smoothie but they ran out of it. I came later at 9pm so it's not surprising but it's still disappointing because I love peach smoothies. I settled for their strawberry banana smoothie. The smoothie I bought was delicious so I think it is very much worth it. It was refreshing and I could actually taste the strawberries and Banana flavors in it. In my opinion, a medium size is just enough to cool you down on an extremely hot day. Overall, their fruit smoothies are good! Good price too as it was "summer drinks day" time so it was only $2 for a medium one ($2.38 after tax and cup fee). Service could be better. There was a group of homeless looking people in front of me counting every dime, nickel and quarter to pay for their food so it took a really long time to wait to get my order in. There were 4 cash registers. Usually, another staff member would jump in and take another order using the other register but none came. Only one register was available and there were no self-serve kiosks. I had to wait 5-6 minutes to wait and get my order in even though there was only one order in front of me. Once I got my order in, it took a little longer than expected to get my smoothie, maybe 3-4 minutes. Usually it would take 1-2 minutes if it was not busy like this visit. I have a feeling that this Mcdonalds is either understaffed or just slow. Overall, I'd avoid this location if possible. Slower than expected service, and the type of people that are walking around in the area are not very, say, totally normal. Also there's nowhere to eat your food at the restaurant or near it. Kinda inconvenient. It's a decent grab and go place for the kind of stuff where you can walk and enjoy your food such as smoothies. Only giving 2 stars for the reasons stated above. I recommend you go to the slightly better Mcdonald's nearby instead. It's by Main Street - Science World skytrain station but only one short subway stop away from the Chinatown - Stadium Skytrain Station by the mall.
