    Cajun Fries, Little Hamburger, Peanuts

Clean and casual vibe and the best part is the free toppings--you can customize your burger however you like. The all-you-can-eat peanuts are a fun touch, adding a little extra to the experience. The Cajun fries are delicious, though I prefer them a bit crispier, but they're still a solid choice. Definitely a great spot for a more affordable and substantial meal.

With the limited amount if dedicated burger joints in Richmond, Five Guys is a very welcome addition. Burgers are a bit sloppy but tasty . The Cajun fries are always a good accompaniment. I haven't tried the milkshakes or hotdogs (and likely won't), so I can t comment on them. Free peanuts while dining in is a strange gimmick and not really sure how it transpired. *This review has been sitting unfinished since Fives Guys opened in Richmond and just published it now.

My search for great take out places during covid times took me to Five Guys Burgers. I am glad to say that the burgers remained the same in awesome tastiness ! Love the regular hamburger and the bacon burger. I also like how you can customize the toppings, which are free as well as have the option for one or two patties. This place has a free parking lot which is handy. They do get busy during dinner times and the burgers take about 10 minutes to make. Ordering online will cut waiting time. They have a dine in section but it's not super spaced out and most people that I saw did take out.

Bacon cheeseburger with all the works

There were quite a few choices for lunch in this plaza, but decided on this place because I still think it's one of the better burger joints for a nice juicy old fashion burger. I have never been to this location before but most of the locations for this chain are pretty consistent in terms of friendly service and their food quality. Here were the food I ordered while munching on some of their peanuts; 1. Bacon cheeseburger with all the way toppings. Everything the way I like in an old fashion homemade burger so be prepared to get your hands a little bit messy. 2. Little Hamburger with half the works. Pretty good but I still prepare with all the works more. 3. Poutine. Very generous portion with lots of cheese but I think I just stick with their fries and gravy on the side next time. There are quite a lot of burger joints opened up in the last decade or so but my two favourite places for burgers are still this chain and Big Texx in surrey. I think everything needed to say about this chain had been mentioned by everyone already and if you haven't try this chain's burgers and their fresh cut fries yet then time to take them for a taste run. I remember one of their first locations used to do be able to add a fried egg to the burger??

Surprised to see a Five Guys branch in Richmond! So thankful to have them!!! We called in at 9:45pm before closing and they came through for us. We got there in under 10 mins and had the whole place to ourselves for take out! The night time staff was super kind to us and they even welcomed us despite having a lot of questions about their drinks and food. The man behind the counter was patient and wasn't rushing us out the door despite it already being 10pm. Thank you guys!! We will be back soon!! Also, the food here is AMAZING!!! We craved this for weeks now!

The wait was worth it!!! Finally best burger in town is in Richmond , right in my neighborhood!!! Out of all the burger places i ve ever tried , 5 guys stays way ahead not even close to its competitors. Patty is always fresh and grilled to perfection , the bun is incredibly soft and makes you feel it was custom made to fit that tasty meat inside it and to add a touch of magic to the whole burger. And if you are wondering why they always have roasted peanuts in their shops , then you should know that it is a smart way to advertise for their french fries for which they use peanut oil to get it to that level of crispness. Long story short , nobody beats 5 guys in the burger industry . But I just noticed that they were making hot dogs as well which I ll need to try next time ; but I really wish they wont be as magnificent as their burgers otherwise I ll be wasting all my money there...

It was a daddy daughter date so we decided to try something rather different than our carb loaded meals....5 Guys! We walked in and all tables were full, a little line up to order, but moved pretty quick. Tables were turning over and also was able to get a seat. The two of us were watching the action in the kitchen and was cool to watch everything being cooked fresh. We had a little bacon cheeseburger with no toppings for my daughter and the regular bacon cheeseburger with lettuce, grilled onions and mushrooms and a regular order of fries..of course we had beverages as well. First bite for my daughter and she loved it...couldn't stop saying how good it is...she squeezed the burger to show me the juices coming out of the patty...lol. so yeah...it passed the kid test. For my adult burger, it was really tasty and fresh, the free toppings are amazing...where do you get free toppings..especially grilled onions and mushrooms. There was a good amount of bacon and cheese so no complaints. The surprising thing when we opened the bag was the amount of fries they give. We ordered the regular size and they gave twice the amount..awesome!! Ok soon..my daughter loved it so much we went again the very next night again..same love!!

This weekends cheat cravings lead me to Five Guys. The downfall of this place is that they don't have a veggie burger and don't serve chicken burgers either. If your craving a beef burger, then definitely check this place out. The secret to their crispy fries is the peanut oil they advertise. I am a fan of the poutine forsure!

This is a great location, quite spacious, not enough seating but very clean and bright. Service and food were fairly quick, most importantly convenient location and lots of parking! Food portions were very good as well, quality is as good as other locations.

For a burger shop the hot dog wasn't bad. In my boring life who is a foodie that for some reason has recently devolved to become a picky eater it's hard for me to really like food these days. Having recently found that some of my favorite foods I can't eat anymore. So it goes without saying that whenever I eat something, I'm never sure if I'm going to like it or not. I have always wanted to try Five Guys as I often pass by one in West Van. And now there's one in Richmond. So what did I do? Order a bloomin hotdog. Aiyah as they say. But you know what? I still enjoyed the experience of losing my virginity to a Five Guys hot dog. And of course like moi losing my virginity to a hot dog, well it was just ok. But I'm sure their burgers will be much better. That I can't wait to try next. I just hope my tastebuds are working and my recently finicky appetite doesn't scare me away! I have a feeling that 6 months ago I would have really enjoyed that dog. My tastebuds just seem so wracked now. Yes wracked. I lost my foodie Mojo and I'm a Yelper . Classic Five Guys experience. May be a bit pricier than typical burger fare but it's worth the hype

tl;dr while some menu items are overly ambitious and gimmicky, the signature Terimayo Kurobuta and…read morethe unique dessert lineup are well worth a visit to this zoo of a location in the McArthurGlen Designer Outlets Across Vancouver's eclectic food scene, few restaurants are as widely recognized as Japadog. Here, the menu unsurprisingly focuses on Japanese-style hot dogs featuring ambitious toppings like nori, bonito flakes, and even yakisoba. Founder Noriki Tamura brought his first food cart to Downtown Vancouver back in 2005, and Japadog has since expanded to countless locations across Metro Vancouver (as well as a cart on the Santa Monica Pier). Over the years, Japadog has garnered award after award, as well as hosted many a famous customer (from Anthony Bourdain to Ice Cube). We spent our final meal in Vancouver at Japadog's airport-adjacent outpost within the McArthurGlen Designer Outlets. All of the shops at this outdoor shopping mall are consistently buzzing, and this indoor, table-equipped Japadog location is no exception. The color palette sports a muted black-and-white with occasional pops of red. Warm lighting is focused on the expanded menu (which, here, even includes alcoholic beverages and ice cream desserts), stretching nearly the entire width of the restaurant above the ordering counter. The whitewashed walls are decorated sparingly with framed accomplishments and large posters of Japadog's most popular items. Black plastic chairs are pressed up to plenty of worn wooden tables, but securing a seat still can be a dice roll. Pop music blends with sizzle from the kitchen and chatter across countless different languages. Across multiple visits, my partner and I had the opportunity to sample many of Japadog's greatest hits and beyond. Of the topping combinations, our favorite was the signature Terimayo, featuring a sweet-and-savory combination of sauces to glue the salty fried onions and seaweed onto the dog. The Okonomi dog (inspired by okonomiyaki, Japanese savory pancakes) was decked with a sweet Worcestershire-based sauce, fried cabbage, and bonito flakes, culminating in a stronger but less dynamjc flavor than the aforementioned Terimayo. Lastly, the Yakisoba featured noodles that created more mess than flavor, but the salty pickled radish felt uniquely complimentary to the hot dogs. The franks were half-sliced to facilitate bites and maximize surface ares, and the buns were lightly grilled to a sturdy texture. Between the two different franks, we were most impressed by the juicy and flavor-packed Kurobuta pork hot dogs. In constrast, the slightly larger Wagyu beef dogs reminded me of a sophisticated ballpark frank, but I didn't think they were worth the premium. Meanwhile, the knuckle-sized Wagyu Menchikatsu was a deep-fried meatball of sorts that felt wholly awkward to manage on a hot dog bun. For sides, we very much enjoyed the Butter & Shoyu Shaken Fries. These extra-crispy shoestring-style fries were definitely elevated by the well-distributed seasoning. In contrast, skip the Meat & Cheese Poutine, which sported a one-note gravy, boring ground beef, and melted deli cheese. Of desserts, I most enjoyed the Age Ice with Black Sesame. The donut component was rich and crispy, while the ice cream was pleasantly sesame-y without going overboard sweet -- just be prepared to down it before the bread get soggy. The Omatcha Parfait fetured a sweet matcha ice cream and a less exciting vanilla scoop, both of which were which were enhanced by the many other textures of corn flakes, mochi balls, and jellies -- few places offer such a unique dessert in fast-food form. Lastly, the intensely tart Yuzu Japanade was a worthy beverage, delivering on its promise of a strong yuzu flavor. Service was efficient and professional, and all of the food was made-to-order. Prices range widely, but expect the Kurobuta hot dogs to cost about $7, while the Wagyu varieties are priced upward of $10. At these prices, Japadog admittedly feel more expensive that a standard fast food meal, and I wouldn't expect to ever fit it into my routine. But the best items on the menu are worth an occasional splurge, and Japadog certainly warrants a visit if just for the shear novelty.

Located in the food court section of the Richmond Outlet…read more The place can get really busy and wait times can go longer. The hotdogs were good. They've added some items on the menu that I didn't see from the last time I was here. They have vegan options as well. They just need a dedicated staff for table cleaning as most of the tables when we went were dirty.
