Cheese veggie $4.25 I think
Ally S.

2.5/5 I got the veggie cheese sandwich ($4.25 I think). I got it without mushrooms and green peppers, but I added jalapeños and mayo. I ended up taking the tomatoes out. Aside from the sauce and grilled onions, there wasn't anything amazing about it. I also got Cajun fries ($3.69 for the small). Although the actual container it comes in is really small, they put SO many fries. It was good and well seasoned. I also got a regular sized drink, so whole bill came to $10ish. I'm glad I tried it once, it I don't see myself ever going back.

Five Guys Port Coquitlam exterior

Is this the best burger you will ever have? No. But they are very good for the price. They are a lot better than most fast food joints. I was glad to learn one was opening in Port Coquitlam as I had tried Five Guys a number of times in the states. At this location, expect long lines and waits for your food during peak dinner hours on Friday/Saturday & Sunday; at least while people are still discovering this place. The burgers are why you come here. You can customize the toppings as you choose. Go All the Way ;) They are loaded, big, messy and good. A regular burger is two patties while a little burger is one pattie. They are anything but little. The fries are good as well, but a little greasy for my taste. Even a small fries is good for two people. They always add another scoop of fries into your bag. If you can finish a regular bacon cheeseburger and large fries, you will need to be carried out on a stretcher.

A little pricey and long lineups at time but completely worth it once you get to sit down and enjoy a wonderful burger and delicious fries

I don't know what everybody's talking about. This is my first and last time here. Doesn't come anywhere close to Vera's burgers.

Haida Sandwich recently opened in the heart of Coquitlam's downtown core, near Coquitlam Centre, on…read morePinetree Way, where the old Mochi Donuts used to be located. I tried two sandwiches: the Haida Hot, rated 4/5 and priced at $17.99, and the Haida Royal, rated 3/5 at $21.99. I also ordered a small pizza, the Haida Pizza, which was rated 3/5 and costs $16.99. Both sandwiches were good; the bread was crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. They were a decent size and made neatly, the addition of hickory stick chips inside the sandwiches is a interesting touch. The pizza was okay, but for its small size, it would be best suited for a child to eat on their own. The size reminded me of the pizza that McDonald's used to offer, and at $17, I found it a bit steep. Overall, the service was good. The staff recommended the most popular items, which was helpful since it was my first visit to Haida. However, I do think the prices are a bit high for what you get.

A Lot of attention and care was put into the design of the place and it shows; neon lights and signs as well as the design of the wall art and a large padded booth in the corner that could comfortably seat a party of 6-8 hungry patrons. And, best of all the management make sure that the tables, floor and bathroom are sparkling clean. We order two of their specialty sandwiches... The Haida Hot and The Meat Lovers and washed them down with Delster (Non-Alcoholic Beer from Iran. The food was simple but good hearty and filling... The drinks were light and refreshing. There was a nice assortment of Persian Music playing at a reasonable volume in the background. This place is close to Coquitlam Centre Mall... SkyTrain Lincoln Station and Lafarge Lake-Douglas It would make a good stop to get a Picnic Lunch before going for a walk around Lafarge Lake... Or, afterwards if you worked up a good hunger. It's open from 11am until 11pm... So, Lunch, Dinner, or Late Night Snack. I Highly Recommend this Restaurant

I was made to wait over 20 minutes for the order, and at the end, the staff treated me rudely and gave negative feedback unfairly. You choose mild or spicy, dark or white meat. I was there tonight at 5:30pm and they were out of white meat... not a huge deal for me but it might be a big deal for others. I also ordered a 5 piece meal. They gave me 3 drumsticks and 2 thighs. The thighs are twice the size of the drumsticks. The service is not very accommodating. The chicken tenders doesn't come with a dip?? And when I told them they were for toddlers and it is a bit dry for them, they offered up some mayo packets. They don't give you any ketchup, napkins or utensils unless you ask even though I ordered Mac and cheese which you clearly need a fork for. Overall, they just seem quite stingy. One of the fountain drink machines was broken. The lids and straws were just kinda there. There was just two tables sitting in. Overall ambience just seems like a takeaway place. There isn't much competition like a churches or a kfc nearby so I'd likely come back for fried chicken if I was in the area.

It turned out that the pork had no sauce at all and the taste was minimal. It did not resemble the picture as shown online. The Braised Beef was a lie (they gave us slices of beef shank instead of chunks of beef). It was not braised; it was cold. You can check the photos on Uber Eats and Fantuan for the correct version. We were shocked by their misconduct. Traditional dishes should not be altered and the cashier should not have asked us for modifications. Pulled beef sandwich with pork bones, er "dragon bones", and vegetable soup. This is a northern cuisine from China that is not common in GVRD. The taste is muted except for the starnasis and the ingredients. Umami flavour and wholesome tasting. Fair value. Recommend it.
