A few things they could make better here even tho it's been renovated. Keep the smokers away from the front door; nothing worse than sitting inside and enjoying food with cigarette smoke wafting in. Second is don't allow more than 70% of the damn bar to have tables reserved. Just went in and there were at least 15 table with little white notes on them with peoples names. 15 EMPTY tables for a football game and 3 patrons waiting to give money for beer and food. Sorry, that's a recipe for me and my friends not to ever come back. We were craving for wings, found a cheap wing night on a Tuesday for $7 -great deal! I don't think you can find cheap wings at this low of a price. My hot wings was drenched in delicious Buffalo sauce mixture. My partners wings on the other hand did not appeal to me. The dry rubs for Cajun and Tex Mex was not consistently coated. The sauce for the Caribbean wings was cold. All in all the wings could have been presented better. I know it's a bar, but I have been to other bars for cheap wing night and presentation was still on point. My Caesar salad was well dressed, but somehow it was flavourless like it was missing something... anchovies? The Caesar drink tasted a little bit off however once I squeezed my lime, it was good to drink. Some may consider this a divey bar. I didn't hate nor did I didn't like it here. Don't go there! We used to be regulars here till it started changing hands over and over again. Their food quality went down and so did their service! They used to have great service & great food. There have some servers that are still quite lovely, like the one we had yesterday! Their bartender is a horrible piece of work! We popped in for a drink and lunch. She screamed at us for taking to long to get to the door as people were coming in! Never going there again and will never recommend it! read more

This is obviously home away from home for many regulars. We were seated in one of the booths and service was prompt and friendly. The starter selection is great. There is something for everyone! From veggies to Vietnamese spring rolls to meatballs, we had a hard time deciding. One bite from our garlic dry ribs, we knew we had a winner!! I had reservations about ordering ribs not smothered in sauce. Up until then, that was a pre-requisite. These ribs changed my entire world. These bite size babies came out smelling so aromatic, with fresh garlic - crisp on the outside, and moist bite sizes which had just the right amount of sea salt and cracked pepper. Served with garlic lime infused mayo and soy chili dip and lemon wedges. Even though the mayo and dip were both great, a nice healthy squeeze of lemon was all I needed to bring out the flavors. Now for the drinks: the mojitos were so refreshing and so, so good. I just had to have 3 to make sure :) If you'd like to try your hand at some winnings, lotto tickets are on sale here, or try your hand at Keno and Hold'em. Just started coming here a couple months ago ( just moved here) after realizing there are hardly any good pubs in Langley. The food is really really yummy , especially the fish n chips which is a very generous portion, super crispy batter and non-fishy flaky cod. The burgers are really moist and have a ton of flavor as well. Half-priced appys until 6pm are great ( DEF not worth the $10 for the portion size after 6pm though) and the atmosphere is fun and casual. The only negative that stands out to me in our experiences @ Rendezvous, is that we have felt on more than a couple occasions that we are overlooked since we are a couple when there is a large group in for football, UFC, etc and we sometimes wait a really long time to have a waitress come refresh our drinks or to order food. If that wasn't happening, it would def get my 5 stars. Overall, we love coming here and enjoy the atmosphere. Will def be back! read more

Came here for the first time to pick up my mom and her friend. As a server, I know that it can be frustrating for the people working wanting to go home when someone walks in half hour before. That being said if you are scheduled to close your establishment at 1am you shouldn't be miserable and have an attitude to your customers at 12:30 if we want to order ONE round of drinks with the bill. Not sure what her name was but she has dark red hair styled like a scene girl from 2010, lots of makeup. My mom politely asked if she could order her last beer and this girl goes "I'm off so no, you can go to the bar and see if she'll give you something." (Bartender was 1000x sweeter) Even at a local bar like this I think that is just rude. THEN to top of that attitude my mom being the sweet lady she is noticed her question had irritated the server slightly, so she apologized. To which the server looked at her with a glare that no one in CUSTOMER SERVICE should give someone. This girl needs better training or needs to take the long stick up her ass right on out. Definitely not a good server and solely just an order taker unless she knows she can make a good tip, which she would have made from me but oh well ‍ better luck next time Audrey Kitching anyone that goes there! Great pub food - the waitresses are always friendly. We go here time and time again. The prices are reasonable and they always have drink specials on. Unfortunate that the liquor store next to it closed down - not sure why but it was handy to have it that close. read more

So the Spinach and artichoke dip was delicious, only it should've been called "Tortillas with a touch of dip"! Also, I was told that the chips were actual tortillas, cut up then fried, when in reality, they were tortilla chips out of a bag!!! (Perfectly cut triangles that were all the same thickness) I don't know why they feel they need to lie to customers?! Went for the half price appies. We ordered three (for two people), thinking they would be small. Ok, one each next time! The fish tacos (3 large ones) were tasty with just enough spice. My husband and I are B.C. Lions fans and headed to the Rendevous to watch the Lions last game. We ordered drinks and food and settled in. There were groups and couples around us who were there for exactly the same thing. One of the couples requested that one of the TVs be switched to the Lions game, and then another couple asked for the sound. The couple who asked for sound was promptly told "NO" as it would bother other patrons. We thought that was quizzical, as it was obvious that we all seemed to be there for the same reason. And it is a SPORTS bar. One of the women decided to try her feminine charms and came back in a huff, as she was told to GO HOME and watch the game there. Then my Hubbie, the great diplomat, went up to point out that there were many people in that section who wanted the sound on. He too was told to go home! (Which was very ironic for us, as we don't pay for TV any more, so we literally can't!) We wondered why we couldn't have at least tried the sound and then switched off at the first complaint. (The Rendevous also needs to update their crappy free satellite 80s music which we get to listen to instead of a game!) We cancelled our order, and felt bad doing so as the waitress was obviously embarrassed and apologized profusely. We then went to the Artful Dodger, where we usually go. There: they had our game on a dozen TVs, including the giant one, WITH sound, I might add. We will never stray again, Artful Dodger! We have learned our lesson! By the way, the Rendevous never did change that one TV for that couple. Oh goodie, watching the World TIddlywinks championship to Bill Idol. Now that's customer service! I feel sorry for the waitresses at the Rendevous. Their boss gets 2 BIG thumbs down! No sound needed. read more
