    Filthy fries
    Anushka B.

Situated right next to the Langley cineplex and open till 11pm which makes it a good spot to grab food after dinner. Went there on a Tuesday night but the vibes were still fun! They had good music playing and a variety of cocktails. The space is quite big from the inside and can easily accommodate a large party (we were 8 people and did not have to wait to get seating). They indoor and outdoor seating. If you are not a fan of loud music, I would suggest the outdoor seating (it is covered so good during the rain as well). The food was not bad, we got their filthy fries which were advertised as being spicy but there was no spice on it. We ordered the hot sauce on the side which made it better. Their ganjang burger was tasty but really hard to eat! The buns were too small and could not hold the weight on the crispy chicken. The burger was a bit sweet and tangy. Their veggie burger was good too!

    Gluten free chicken sandwich

Had the best gluten free chicken sandwich at the Barley Merchant! They use The Good Flour Co to batter their chicken they use in the fried chicken sandwich. It was packed with flavour and different textures. The filthy fries were really good too - a nice Cajun dusting with some pickled onions, fried onions and mayo - yum! They also had a lot of ciders and gluten free beer on tap! They also had lots of tables inside and on their heated patio.

After a movie stop for great food and a drink to wet your whistle. This restaurant has only been open for two weeks but I think it is going to be a hot spot where people go to get away, socialize and enjoy being served great food and choose, one or two of 50 beers available. Comfortable decor and plenty of lighting this is going to be one of my list of 10 places to go.

The food was tasty and priced just right. The overall atmosphere is great for friends to gather. They have an amazing amount of beers on tap. Ample parking as well. A must in the area.

A craft beer flight from great local breweries

With so many options for large tap-list venues in the Urban parts of Vancouver, it was good to hear that Langley was getting something going on. The BM has good food options for a group, wine and cocktails for the non-beer crowd. The breweries represented cover a wide geography too, with a special emphasis on areas from Hope to Chiliwack, which makes good sense.

Finally a place that has enough stout options for a flight of dark beer!!! Great beer & cider collection. I had the TapRoom Burger and it was very good all around, the burger itself was incredible. My friend had the tacos, loved them (she found them a tad spicy but she's a wiener) Not sure how I missed this gem of a place but I'll definitely be back!

A nice spot to gather with friends for beer flights and food. The ambience is nice, but can be very loud, especially closer to the bar area. The service is good- always coming to check if you need water and took away dishes as we ate. The food was also a nice surprise, as they offered a variety of cuisine (Korean, and Mexican specials for Cinci de Mayo). The beer cheese dip was the only dish that fell flat for me- it left a bitter aftertaste that I was not a fan of. But other than that, it's a good place to check out

Pulled pork sandwich I love all the pickles!

Stopped in here after another long work day We Hadn't eaten all day and we're looking for a quiet place to wind down & have a quick bite When we walked in it really wasn't what we were looking for but they were open late as other places had already closed so in we went even tho the music was louder than we hoped It all worked out great tho as the meal was great for both of us Sometimes the menu in a pub doesn't satisfy both of us but it did here. Our server was great She was working hard and walking fast to keep up. We did have to wait for things a couple times but not much staff was there so I think she did a great job with how many tables she had. The pulled pork sandwich was excellent !! I loved the stack of pickles on top of lots of flavourful juicy pork The fries were cooked perfectly I had a couple different stouts both were really good The beer selection is pretty great with lots of taps My wife loved the curry chicken dish with beets and pickled ginger Sometimes you just need to go with the flow even when it doesn't seem like what your looking for as this establishment & meal showed me that evening. Cool place with lots of beer choices and cool atmosphere with a large covered patio Can't wait to go for another beer or 2 and try some other menu items ;0)

    Wagyu meatballs!
    Jimmy S.

Really impressive tap list loaded with BC craft beer, cider and wine. Food was very innovative and delicious. Lots of options you don't see at all the chain restaurants. Had the wagyu meatballs, prosciutto pear flatbread and the cider house chicken. Everything was amazing. Atmosphere was bumpin and it has a great open beer hall vibe. Server was friendly, genuine and knowledgeable. Will be back soon. Lots more on the menu I can't wait to try

The second time there were clams and lamb neck? The things that were the same: tomato egg, dumplings, steamed baos, chineze fried donut, and cold dishes like bean sprouts, smashed cucumbers, tea egg, tofu dessert. They also have hot soy milk for drinks. Their deep fried chinese donut has got to be the best I've ever had in my life. With the price of a pair of fried donut being over $6 these days, I get my fix here. Other things are standard, good but not outstanding. I really like having soy milk to drink instead of water. $18.88 is getting a little steep for a limited choice buffet with not too many meat choices. The crab/clam are a nice addition but if there are days without it, it wouldn't be worth. I would rate the food from this place higher than the similar chinese lunch box style place in richmond, K squared mansion.

Judging from the fact my og review of Overflow's Lynden location is almost 10 years old (!), I'd say it's more than time for a refresh. A lot has changed since my 2016 declaration that "beer and Lynden" are not often two words you associate with each other. Lynden now has a few hoppy outposts, including a second Overflow location on the west side. Guess I'll add that one to my list, too! This particular Sunday, we were looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a quiet beer and play a game of cribbage. I was excited to see Overflow was open (back in "the day" most Lynden businesses were closed on Sundays). We grabbed a couple of pints (just $5 ea!) and sat down for our game. The service was friendly, the place was uncrowded, and it was hard not to order a second pint before the long drive home to the Ham. Overflow, congrats on 10 years in Lynden! It's great to see you're still thriving, still serving up some great beer choices, and still supporting clean water initiatives. Cheers!

They're located close to the Burlington airport; look for the wooden chair with a "beer here" sign. We dropped in on a Friday afternoon (around 1:30pm). They've got a cute patio outside along with two communal style tables and bar seats inside. Service is friendly and knowledgeable. Go up to the bar to order your drinks. The beers consisted of 9 Garden Path flavours, two meads and several guest beers/ciders/wines. They don't do flights, which is disappointing and none of their fruit flavoured beers were available to sample. They have a MASSIVE variety of rare, unique beers along with some interesting cider and wines. Beer bottles from Jester King, Atwood Ales, The Ale Apothecary and Crooked Stave, to name a few. From Canada, they even had two bottles from Dieu du Ciel. Majority are from the States but they had some beers from Australia, Estonia and Europe (Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, France and Italy). They also have a couple board games and funny enough, they had these mystery/surprise beer bags for sale. Not sure how much they were though. - The easygoing drink ($3.00 US for 5oz) - lightly tart ale fermented in a foudre and finished in stainless steel. This was our favourite from the three we sampled. - Amber dreams of electric sheep ($3.00 US for 5oz) - foudre-fermented, oak matured, malt-accented and native yeast amber ale. Definitely was malty. - The prime barrel age ($3.50 US for 5oz) - blend of mature barrel-aged beers. This one didn't leave much of an impression on either one of us. Garden Path's beers are different, catering more to funky than sour. If you're a beer geek, this should be a must visit. 3.5 stars.
