I am super amazed at the quality, taste and price of Aldergrove Cafe. They have high quality breakfast items and I have to say that they do it a lot better than many restaurants in Vancouver. I got the the egg benedict with bacon. They were very generous on the hollandaise sauce. The yolk was cooked perfectly. I asked for soft and it came out the way I wanted it. The hashbrown was nice and crispy. It had a bit of fruits in the corner of the plate. Service was good. The owner Caroline was very welcome. They have some Mexican options here as well. Caroline is very good with names and remembers my friend's name who has been here before. We asked for hot sauce and I was amazed at the sauces that she bought out. Lots of sauce options to choose from. The ambiance is more of a family restaurant décor style dated in the 1980s or 1900s. The place was very warm and cozy. There are some parking in front. We parked on the street instead. The parking lot looked very busy when we arrived. Overall, I highly recommend checking the place out. Food was super delicious.

From the moment I stepped in, I've never felt more welcomed. Jane is a delight and ever so warm and friendly. This is a place where they know their customers. I noticed Jane talking to other diners, calling them by names. Later she also asked for my name and was telling me about the new owners and introducing me to the lady boss Carolina. She is equally friendly. I'm guessing they are trying to build up the customer base and I'm excited to see more Mexican dishes which will be on the menu soon. If only I live in the area, this will definitely be my regular cafe. But I'm absolutely telling my friends about this little gem. I just need to find more reasons to head over to Aldergrove area. Besides the people, the food is equally delicious. The prices are very affordable and I do hope it stays that way as everywhere we have seen prices gone up to a level which makes regular eating out a luxury now. The avocado toast comes with 2 eggs, ham or bacon and hash. There's a vegetarian version which comes with spinach, tomato and mushrooms. I love this as most places just give you avocado toast with no sides or just a small salad. I like meat with my avocado. The overeasy eggs were perfect with runny yolks. The bacon nicely crisped and avocado was a generous serve. I was stuffed after that, with my next meal 8 hours later. Coffee was good and with free refills. I'm looking forward to the enchiladas which will be on the menu next month or so. Parking is available at the small lot in front or street parking by the side.

Kept seeing this place in my searches for food and decided it was the day to try it. Ordered the classic burger with no cheese and tomato as I find cheese can take over and I wanted to taste the meat. Also had the clubhouse both with fries and gravy. Service was friendly and really nice on the phone and in person. Tried the burger and it was homemade (yum) and well seasoned with the right mix of mustard, mayo, lettuce and pickles. The club house was big with lots of meat and freshly cooked fries. I wish the fries were homemade too but that's a preference of mine. The critiques would be no mustard on clubhouse as it should just have mayo and little less handling when forming the beef before cooking. This allows it to be juicier and tender as over handling when forming patties can risk the burger being too dense and dry. As they had some Mexican staples for sale I would LOVE to see tacos and enchiladas maybe even tostados on the menu!!! Even if it's just a special one day. There aren't any Mexican places nearby so I'm sure it would be a huge hit if they introduced some variety. Oh I must say that prices are INCREDIBLY reasonable! This place should be filled with a line up each day!!! Will definitely be back to try more of the menu and see if they introduce any specials.

I've lived in and around Bellingham for my entire life and somehow never realized this spot existed. What a find! For starters the reviews were great, but the parking lot was full when we arrived at 1pm on a random Wednesday which is typically a good sign that this is the spot. The entrance lives up to the name with a beautiful arched door to welcome you in. The space is large and airy with a ton of visual interest. We were told there was a 5-15 minute wait but it was very quick before we were seated in the bustling dining room. Our server was attentive and very friendly. Seeing the food and amazing coffee/hot chocolate drinks being delivered was genuinely exciting us. With peaches in season, peach blintzes and French toast were on special. The server recommended the blintzes so that's what I ordered. When they arrived she told me that if I didn't like them they would switch them out which was a nice offer but I absolutely loved them. I also ordered the fancy Vienesse coffee which was a true treat! Overflowing with homemade whip it was amazing, but not super hot. My hubby ordered the Buttermilk breakfast which was two pancakes, one egg, bacon, fruit and included coffee and juice. The house coffee was delish which was a very nice to have. He also ordered a side of sourdough bread which was amazing with the homemade jelly. My daughter ordered the kids chocolate chip pancakes and devoured them. The only complaint was that it was a little on the spendy side, but when you consider that it's literally all homemade ingredients it's absolutely worth it. Can't believe we've slept on this place for so long. Will definitely be back!

Really enjoyed the baked French Ham & Cheddar omelet. Plenty for us to split. They have excellent butter that enhances their already great pancakes. The pancakes were included with the omelet. Pretty proud of their biscuits but we thought ours was overcooked. We enjoyed eating the soft middle inside, but left the crusty outside. And we're not raspberry preserve folks. I love fresh raspberries but just can't do any other raspberry items. Tried the preserves but just not for me. Probably won't order the bacon again either. Good flavor but thick cut and hard to cut/chew. We'll be back!!

Oh my gosh, we were out this way, without much breakfast had, so looking for brunch-ish? Ronny's was outstanding! We missed the lunch rush I think, more were leaving than coming in, but I'd say they do a good lunch, or people wouldn't be there. Did I mention they are out of the way a bit? Don't let that deter you, go there, and you'll be like us, will find a way to decide, we need to go to Maple Ridge! I love the interior with a splash of Italia, but decor is full of understanding what the purpose is. It's about feeding people in the traditional sense. You can eat in, take away ready, or take it home warm it up and feed your family. How refreshing it is for us that love the old world mindset. K's Chef's Special with fries was so good. The fries remained hot until the last one was devoured, how do they do that? She ate half the sandwich and had to box the other half. My borscht side with my Turkey BL sandwich was so good I also brought a half sandwich home. I could have finished it, but we would have had to stop for a nap prior to getting all the way home. This might surprise those that have read this far, but we are going back for sure, and you should find a reason to do the same.
