Tomahawk. It's the size of a pie! Amazing !

Why isn't everyone talking about Morgan's Bistro?? This place is amazing and by far the best place to eat when at Harrison Hot Springs. This is the only place we eat at when we're visiting now. The food is cooked to perfection and delicious. The staff and owners are so accommodating and friendly. If you haven't tried this place you're missing out. You have to try the tomahawk or ribeye!

First time going to Morgan's, it was a Saturday night, they were busy with several tables extending into an overflow. They were pretty good at getting everything out as quickly as they could, but the shear volume of people made it tough. Drinks were good, food was good, service was good. Due to the number of people once I got my food I was waiting to be checked on again, and no other drink... but I'm sure a regular night that wouldn't be an issue. I would eat here again.

One of the best eating experiences I've had in a long time. We didn't have any plan for dinner and just stumbled upon this place It was a beautiful day out on the patio, we were there early and service was great Our waiter was pleasant and the vibe was relaxing They have Old Yale Brewery on tap definitely one of my faves but it is pricey there I found out at the end of the meal I had the Tuscan Chicken and my wife had the Lamb special Both dishes were fabulous!! Especially the variety & serving size of vegetables and they were the best cooked veggies I've ever had at a Restuarant hands down. I'm already looking forward to the next time we are there. It was a real unexpected treat. Thank you for such a beautiful dinner!

Whenever we make our way to Harrison Hot Springs we make our reservations to make sure we have our table for the best meal in town. Stewart and Carline are our favourites. Stewart Is friendly and welcoming and Carline will surprise your with her off menu drinks. Do not miss this gem.

    Rack of Lamb

Best restaurant in Harrison! Rack of lamb and New York steak tasted suuuuper! must try!

    Lamb with fresh veggies

I had the salmon and my husband has the lamb. I was absolutely stunned by the flavor. The salmon was perfectly cooked, melted in your mouth and I would go back to Canada just for that dish. My husbands lamb he said was amazing as well. Tender with perfect sear.

Had a wonderful meal from start to finish at Morgan's. The restaurant is quaint and romantic with lots of nice intimate lighting, candles and fresh flowers. They have a nice wine selection with many BC wines to choose from. The short rib was incredible and the daily special of rack of lamb was crusted beautifully and cooked to perfection. Dessert was creme brûlée which did not disappoint.

Have to say, really wonderful. If the dinner plates had been warm, the candle lit and salt on the table there may have been 5 stars. Food exceeded expectations, service was efficient and friendly. Ambiance lovely, no loud music, conversation level perfect and lighting low and moody, but could still read the menu. Creme brulee one of the best I've ever had.. next trip to Harrison will include Morgan's.. better than any of the other restaurants in Harrison I've been to.

The other restaurants couldn't even offer GF, so we skipped them, but we wandered here for a drink. We were pleasantly surprised by the staff, who were so friendly, a large selection of drinks, and a menu that our waitress was able to walk through for gluten free options. Yay. It is a traditional hotel seating area. It's loud, it's fairly unorganized, and it's busy so you wait a while. The chairs aren't all that comfy. But the drinks make up for it and like I said, gluten free options were key for me. The food is traditional pub fare mostly, with a few full size options. They are fairly greasy and cooked at the restaurant next door, so the poor waitress has to go pick them up and carry them over in big covered platters. They hit the spot though and sometimes that's all it takes.

My aunt and mom both got steaks and I just got garlic butter prawns because I knew I was going to end up on food clean-up duty. The garlic butter prawns with ciabatta garlic bread was absolutely delectable!! I honestly wasn't expecting such good food in a hotel restaurant. They were slathered in butter (lol), and it was seasoned perfectly. I wish there was more bread to go with it though. The steaks were cooked perfectly medium rare for my soft mouth and were covered in a pool of a delicious sauce reduction. The bed of mashed potatoes were perfectly smooth and went well with the steak. The vegetables were well-cooked, but pretty plain (the norm for western restaurants). There was a good variety of vegetables though, which I enjoyed a lot! Unfortunately, I don't see the steak on their most recent online menu anymore. It definitely needs to be brought back! Service was impeccable, we were well taken care of by our server. Ambience is typical hotel restaurant vibes--casual-fancy.

Despite it being quite busy, the service was remarkably fast, efficient and friendly! The environment on a Saturday was definitely "pre-party" in that the music was loud (but just under being too loud), the crowd was happy and having fun. I saw at least one round of shooters going by to a table of older folks, lol! If you have an aversion to loud places, try the outdoor seats or maybe wear Loops or other such gear. It is a pub, but kids are allowed until 9pm. As for the food, we just ordered the calamari and the wings (salt & pepper as the hubby can't eat chilies). We were really surprised at how good they both were. The calamari had a thin, crispy coating that wasn't too greasy. The wings were properly and fully cooked without being overcooked. So many busy pubs serve half raw wings, so I was really pleased with the wings. Also, I thought the chicken was of good quality, not something I usually notice with this dish.

Cold in Every Possible Sense…read more My experience at Lakeside Restaurant was profoundly unpleasant, not because of a single mistake, but because of an overwhelming atmosphere of coldness--both literal and human. The dining area was uncomfortably cold, to the point where it detracted from any ability to relax or enjoy a meal. Patrons should not have to keep their coats on indoors to endure a restaurant experience. This alone signals a lack of basic consideration for customer comfort. More troubling, however, was the emotional temperature of the establishment. The service was distant, indifferent, and unwelcoming. There was no warmth, no attentiveness, and no sense that customers were valued. Interactions felt transactional at best and dismissive at worst. Hospitality is not merely about food; it is about atmosphere, care, and respect--none of which were present here. A restaurant situated by a lake should evoke comfort, warmth, and hospitality. Instead, Lakeside Restaurant felt sterile, uninviting, and inhospitable. I left feeling unwelcome and eager to be anywhere else. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a comfortable, welcoming dining experience.

Been a year or so since we have been out to this restaurant and finally got the hubby to agree to…read moredrive out for a date night. Get a little dressed up have a great meal and maybe dessert and a coffee. We got there as a 2 top and was walked past multiple empty booths and sat in an open more pub like dinning area. I just assumed that the server in the dinning area was at limit of tables. It's chilly in this area so I kept my coat on and saw that the people at the table next to us kept theirs on too. There is a birthday? Bachelorette? In the corner. This will be relevant later. So we sit and my husband ordered a Guinness and I a Diet Coke. He brings the drinks and there is no head on the Guinness, there is none of that carbonation in the beer. So he takes our food order and my husband comments on beer and the server said that the beer was poured correctly. That they poured half let it sit then poured the rest. My husband said ok but there is no head? And they replied well I don't know it was poured correctly and left. Ok not overly impressed but I've eaten the food. It's my cheat night. I have a pulled pork sandwich with Caesar salad. The table next to us gets their food. The one woman at the table picks at her fries and is commenting how bad the sandwich is. The other two men weren't impressed either with their food. The party in the corner is getting loud. The server drops a new drink to me unprompted which I love. And hubby orders a bottled beer. He then goes to the next table to pick up dishes and I hear the woman say ya I don't know what that is but it is not pulled pork. Hubby looks to me and starts to laugh. So server takes all their stuff walks away. And I said noooo please tell me it's not the pulled pork? She said like pulled pork is bbq. There was no bbq. Also nothing was pulled it was a solid piece of I'm not sure what but I think it was fish?? I'm sad, but hopeful that it was just a mistake and I'll get the right order. She has to raise her voice to speak as the party table is well having a party.. Our food comes and I immediately open the sandwich and it's a solid piece of white meat. I say oh hold on. And he's like yes? I said this isn't pulled pork? There is no cheese? That's shredded lettuce not cabbage and there is so much sauce the white bread not sourdough is soaked. The salad came with no dressing? They say ok so you don't want it? what would you like? And I said I don't know can I have a menu? So he walks off to get one. Hubby opens his sandwich and it's not right either. His is the farmhouse chicken sandwich. This was also not even close to right. There was no cheese, it was not layered roast chicken it was rotisserie chicken that oddly enough was ripped up like pulled pork??? The sauce was mayo not a creamy herby cheese sauce. Although it did have the bacon, lettuce but no tomato. The server returned hubby shows him that his is missing things and wrong and he says so you don't want it either? Hubby says no I'm hungry but your kitchen is messing up allot. The server then looked at me and said find anything on the menu. Like oblivious to what hubby just said and I said. No I'm good. Honestly I was scared what would come out. Hubby finishes and we ask for the bill. The party girls now have shots The server proudly walks up and says don't worry I got your meal removed from the bill. You can pay at the front. So I looked thinking that they removed hubby's because mine wasn't even eaten and sent back and his was completely wrong. No they removed my meal. Nothing for the fact the hubby's meal was wrong. I debated writing this for over a week but the whole thing was so bad I don't want someone else to waste their gas, time and money. I got dressed up for date night to sit in a cold pub area with a party, the girls did nothing wrong, but the atmosphere was just wrong. The new owners have absolutely destroyed what was once an amazing restaurant

We arrived and were seated right away. Admittedly we were there at 4:30pm on a Friday but it was getting busy even then, so good quick service. I was very torn on what to try as it had a lot of options I was looking at but I am a hamburger kind of guy and the Smokey XXX Burger was just looking too good. So with a little help from the waitress, I chose this. My table also ordered a fish and chips and Chicken and Shrimp Creole Bowl as well as an order of deep fried pickles. Well we were blown away when the pickles showed up. I had never seen bigger pickle spears. Split between the 3 of us it was still a lot. Then our meals arrived and wow! My burger was huge! I am a large eater and I could not finish it. The mac and cheese side was very cheesy and creamy. The burger patties were juicy and charred just right. It was great. Both other meals at the table were fantastic as well. The fish and chips were again very large. Couldn't finish. The rice bowl was flavourful and loaded with chicken and shrimp. All in all we had a great meal, good service and a very reasonable cost. We will definitely be back again.

Ice-Cold Food, Ice-Colder Attitude…read more Lakeside Restaurant manages the rare feat of being cold in every conceivable sense of the word--and not in a charming, minimalist way. The dining room was so uncomfortably cold that it felt less like a restaurant and more like an unheated waiting room. Keeping your coat on is not a "vibe"; it is a failure of basic hospitality. Unfortunately, the temperature was the least offensive aspect of the experience. The service was frigid, detached, and borderline hostile. There was no warmth, no courtesy, and no pretense of welcoming guests. Staff moved through the space with the enthusiasm of people who would clearly rather be anywhere else, making customers feel like an inconvenience instead of patrons. A restaurant by the lake should lean into warmth, comfort, and atmosphere. Lakeside Restaurant instead delivers sterility, indifference, and a sense of being quietly judged for having the audacity to show up. It felt less like dining and more like being tolerated. Hospitality is about human connection. Lakeside Restaurant offers none. I left cold, uncomfortable, and genuinely confused as to how this place remains in operation. Save yourself the discomfort and go literally anywhere else.
