Stayed here for the weekend and had a nice dinner at the Copper Room. The entertainment from The Jones Boys is as good as ever! I wish they didn't change their dress code and kept it as a formal dining restaurant as I find dressing up to be part of the experience of the evening. My husband and I started off with the beef carpaccio appetizer which was excellent. We then had filet mignon which was average although the sides were very good. Creme brûlée for dessert which was a nice way to end the meal. Our waiter was absolutely wonderful and gave us quality service.

The food is alright, but great value. Steak, soup, dessert for $44 per person. Why I am giving them 4 stars is because of the amazing service and brilliant atmosphere. Located in the resort, the restaurant has been around for a while so it has a very retro feel to it. Couples come here and families come here maybe as a tradition to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries. It was my parents 30th anniversary, and so we celebrated by getting dressing up and getting dinner here. My sister raves about it's live music and dance floor. They play musical classics while you can go up and dance. They also announce any special occasions and the server will come up to you with a dessert and a sparkler to make your day unique! While there the server also offered to take lots of photos for us and got us anything we needed. Very memorable evening as it's the first time I've seen my parents dance in a while. Also the first time, since being kids, we danced as a family together. Thank you, Copper Room!

We did a 3-night stay at the Harrison Hot Springs Resort recently, and had booked our room via their 'Senior's Getaway Package' - which included room, buffet breakfast each morning, and one dinner at the Copper Room. This was our first dining at the Copper Room in quite some time - we (same threesome as before) reserved for 5:30 pm, the second (middle) day of our stay. The walk to the restaurant was colourful and festive, with several pretty, seasonal/holiday decorations along the way, and at the entrance. Sorry, did not have a camera when inside (other photos were taken before and after), to show how lovely it was decorated, but it was, and provided such a warm and festive ambiance for our dinner!! Service was friendly, very cordial, and attentive throughout our stay. What we ordered: Mom ordered an entree - prime rib - from the regular 'A-La-Carte Menu' -- daughter and I ordered from the 'Chef's Special Menu' - beef tenderloin entree for she, pork tenderloin entree for me - with a little sharing of the other courses (soup & salad, sorbet, and dessert) amongst the three of us!! :-) Presentations were colourful, and sure perked appetites when each was placed on our table. Preparations turned out to be totally on-the-mark -- soup - warm and flavourful -- salad - fresh, cool, and crispy -- sorbet - cool, and tangy -- entrees (and their sides) tender, juicy, and flavourful -- dessert - sweet delight. We savoured, and so enjoyed each. For us, everything 'clicked' for this dining experience, and we were so glad to have included dinner at the Copper Room in our stay.

Classy restaurant with live music. We came on Thursday night. The restaurant was half full only. Live band started at 7pm. My husband and I are late 30s. We found the song selection "meh". People celebrating wedding anniversary and birthday were acknowledged by the band Food was good. Presentation and taste great. Plate came out warm. Our server didn't really pay attention to us. Maybe coz we have a young kid. At the end it was a enjoyable experience. I would recommend making reservation if going for special occasion and on weekend. And there is a dress code (smart causal )

Total Disaster! We booked a window table for my birthday treat. Table was far from center of room, which we liked, but the waiter (who boasted 17 years experience at this job) didn't come by very often. Our evening started off badly as the waiter screwed up the first drink order (lemon drop served with no lemon?) Then he screwed up the second course of the chef package four course dinner. Sorbet was the second course? I've enjoyed it as a palate cleanser, not a course by itself... So why did we get the main dishes and no sorbet? The waiter then fumbled a weak apology and served food that had been sitting under a heat lamp for at least 45 minutes. Dried up chicken, dried up sauce, stringy overcooked vegetables. The other meal had melted cheese soaked into and binding up the dried spaghetti. We had sat down at 20:30 and left to speak to the Manager (Travis) a little after 22:00. We were not looking for refund but it was too late to reset or dinner and get fresh food. The manger said he wouldn't comp my meal as "we have very little profit". This is not our problem. Disappointed dinner guest should have been his top concern. We did see a Copper Room discount on our folio at hotel checkout, but by then the damage was done! The room itself is a little dated but well appointed, well maintained and clean. The live band played many cover songs well, which we enjoyed. Even gave me a shout-out for my birthday! This has the potential to be the go-to place; but first the staff need some training, then the menu needs a make-over. Diners deserve better value for the prices charged. Do yourself a favor and skip this one! At every other interaction with the Harrison Hot Springs staff we were delighted. Sad that this one was so bad.

First time in this restaurant and because we had our company's Executive retreat. A great place to unwind with friends and if you enjoy dancing and listening to a live band. I had their Shrimp Risotto which was great and had a Lemon Drop Martini. The place was huge, food was awesome and the servers were all friendly.

The wife and I came here for the first time and we really enjoyed ourselves. We arrived at 6pm on a Saturday, and there were plenty seats. It is still suggested to make a reservation like we did, weekends can be tricky, I hear. The food was pricy but great. We met/know people who have been going here for decades. There is a mandatory dress code, anything but shorts, tshirts, and sandals/sneakers. We both ordered the chef's special 4 course meal, $44 each. I really like the first course's mushroom salad (I'm a mushroom guy). I tried my wife's beef tenderloin with potatoes, which was perfectly soft and tender, and my steelhead salmon was great with the creamy sauce! The raspberry sorbet was creamy and soft, another of our favorite. Our waitstaff worked with our desire to replace a dessert on the menu with ease. Our drinks were never below halfway empty, even after the place filled with dinner-goers in our 3 hour stay. The live music was great as well. We got the courage to dance a few times after seeing so many do the same. We enjoyed watching some of the professionals dance ( there was a great elderly couple there with their family who were tops). All in all, this is a great adventure to experience with your loved-one. We will return in the future.

We stayed at the Harrison Hot Springs Resort for our 11th Anniversary and booked a package getaway which included one's dinner at The Copper Room. The package itself wasn't that great of a deal but this restaurant was quite spectacular! We ordered from the menu for the package and from the regular menu and both entrees tasted excellent! Had the rack of lamb and beef tenderloin and it was indeed good!!!! Full of flavour yet very tender! We also ordered the mussels were steamed and made with white wine and cream and it was soooo yummy!!! I would definitely recommend this place!!

The other restaurants couldn't even offer GF, so we skipped them, but we wandered here for a drink. We were pleasantly surprised by the staff, who were so friendly, a large selection of drinks, and a menu that our waitress was able to walk through for gluten free options. Yay. It is a traditional hotel seating area. It's loud, it's fairly unorganized, and it's busy so you wait a while. The chairs aren't all that comfy. But the drinks make up for it and like I said, gluten free options were key for me. The food is traditional pub fare mostly, with a few full size options. They are fairly greasy and cooked at the restaurant next door, so the poor waitress has to go pick them up and carry them over in big covered platters. They hit the spot though and sometimes that's all it takes.

My aunt and mom both got steaks and I just got garlic butter prawns because I knew I was going to end up on food clean-up duty. The garlic butter prawns with ciabatta garlic bread was absolutely delectable!! I honestly wasn't expecting such good food in a hotel restaurant. They were slathered in butter (lol), and it was seasoned perfectly. I wish there was more bread to go with it though. The steaks were cooked perfectly medium rare for my soft mouth and were covered in a pool of a delicious sauce reduction. The bed of mashed potatoes were perfectly smooth and went well with the steak. The vegetables were well-cooked, but pretty plain (the norm for western restaurants). There was a good variety of vegetables though, which I enjoyed a lot! Unfortunately, I don't see the steak on their most recent online menu anymore. It definitely needs to be brought back! Service was impeccable, we were well taken care of by our server. Ambience is typical hotel restaurant vibes--casual-fancy.

First things first, this place probably has one of the best spots in town with an amazing beach view. The staff is also pretty charming and friendly. But the food? Really, really average. The pizza was meh, the tomato was not tomatoing, though the crust was fine. The pasta was probably one of the saddest ones I've ever had. It was literally just pasta sauce dumped over spaghetti. Not only that, but the flavor was so bland that I had to sprinkle whatever I could find on the table over it. I wouldn't even serve myself something like that at home, like seriously. At the very least, I'd throw the pasta in a pan and cook it with the sauce for a couple of minutes so they can mix and mingle. This pasta was giving newly single 43-year-old white European American dad cooking his kid's birthday dinner for the first time after the divorce vibes. It should not be served at a place with such a great view. Or, maybe that's the point, people come here for the view, not really for the food? The only highlight was the bread. For reference, there's a Japanese chain Italian restaurant called Saizeriya that sells pasta for 18 CNY (about $2.53), and honestly, it looks and tastes about the same. Sometimes I really don't understand the general food scene in the States.

While in Hope, we had decided that we were going to try this restaurant during our Harrison stay. Daughter and I found the restaurant had moved to a new location since our last trip, and into a building that we were familiar with, and much larger than the former one they occupied previously. With the signage and all, it looked good to us. We called one afternoon to ensure they would be open at the time we wished to dine, and in a couple of hours were there and settled in for what we hoped would be an exciting new dining experience. We were not disappointed. Our host/server was very friendly, cordial, and sure helpful. We went in knowing quite little about Indian food, but had studied their menu beforehand back at the hotel, and took it with us to the restaurant. We showed her the dishes we had checked off as 'possibles' and sought her suggestions. This worked out perfectly -- we discussed all dishes, narrowed them down to a nice variety, and ordered. For a first time experience, I believe we did very well. We ended up with a rather nice selection of dishes - from appetizers to main dishes - a good variety of introductory tastes, and wonderful flavours. We had ordered 'mild' - the foods were definitely spicy, but about perfect for the three of us. We hope to have the opportunity to dine there again, and now have a good idea on how and what to order, and are looking forward to it. I know one thing for sure, we will each have a samosa - the samosa we shared this time was so good!! Thanks to our host, her good service, and the exciting food we tried, we much-enjoyed our dining experience at the Royal King Indian Restaurant.

Despite it being quite busy, the service was remarkably fast, efficient and friendly! It is a pub, but kids are allowed until 9pm. As for the food, we just ordered the calamari and the wings (salt & pepper as the hubby can't eat chilies). We were really surprised at how good they both were. The calamari had a thin, crispy coating that wasn't too greasy. The wings were properly and fully cooked without being overcooked. So many busy pubs serve half raw wings, so I was really pleased with the wings. Also, I thought the chicken was of good quality, not something I usually notice with this dish.
