Ambiance is very nice. and warm. I really wanted give them 5 stars but I can't. Let's start with the drinks. The non alcoholic spritzers were good but way too much Iice! There may have been a half of a cup total in the glass. We then got calamari for the appetizer and it was fresh and delicious. Had a hint of spice but nothing overwhelming. Next was poke bowl and Baja fish tacos. Poke bowl was nice and fresh. The tacos lacked in flavor and there were more toppings of cabbage and poco than there was of the fish. It was the size of a fish stick. That was disappointing. The. The fries were hot and seasoned well but a little undercooked for my liking. For $21, I want a nice side of fish in my taco. Very young inexperienced staff but polite and friendly, food quality was ok but for the price it was not worth it, drinks were ok but pricey and a poor beer selection on taps. Lots of options in Chilliwack and for us this is not one of them. read more

Service. (Family Brunch Date) We had a reservation for 7 people - 1 visiting from out of town. Arrived at 1 pm. 1:30 didn't even have our food ordered yet. One couple left to spend their money elsewhere. People came in sat beside us came - had lunch and left - table cleaned before we even got our food. Manager came over and offered us free desert which 4 of us accepted. We waited for the bill and waited for the desert. Decided to take it home and told them to put in take out box. Nice they acknowledged the service failure but didn't change their quality of service afterwards. Probably won't be back. I have to say the food was good but definitely over priced. read more

I stopped in tonight for my much loved fish tacos and cauliflower bites. The fish was the tiniest fish I have ever had in any fish taco anywhere. I love fish tacos and that is my favourite meal when I'm out. These were little finger width pieces of fish. Literally, no bigger around than my ring finger! The manager came over and informed me that they weigh their pieces of fish and that these fish pieces were normal. I've had the fish tacos many times here and the fish has never been this small. When I bit into the fish taco, not only could I not taste the fish because it was smothered in pico de gallo, but the fish was soggy, zero crunch whatsoever, and cold! I don't understand how it could've been cold, but the fish was colder than the pico de gallo, so I'm wondering if they even heated it up for me at all? They should call these pico de gallo tacos because that's all you can taste. Since I had already had the manager come over to explain the size of the fish to me, I didn't feel comfortable commenting on anything else regarding my meal. So I just ate it, paid, and left. I liked this restaurant! They had a wide variety of things on the menu. I had a local Canadian beer which was really good. Really enjoy the fun atmosphere of Browns. I try to go during their Happy Hour because they have a fun social hour menu and some good deal on drinks! I especially like their Social Soda and Deep Fried Cauliflower that's on that menu! They even have a fun social long island which is delicious. read more

Loud, slow, and greasy. It used to be great, but things have changed in the kitchen, and now it just isn't the same. It's always been noisy, and the service has always been acceptable, but it was the food that kept me coming back. For the prices they charge, the food needs to be way better. read more

I came here with a friend of mine on a Sunday afternoon. I have ordered a classic beef dip and was looking forward to having it. The beef dip was a total disappointment: extremely dry, flavorless and chewy. That was my first beef dip at this place and will be my last. I left with an aftertaste of a meal gone wrong. It looked really unappealing and "uninviting" to me. Who is cooking your meals? If you don't have anything good to put on a plate, scrap it, replace it and don't serve it ! read more

We visited Brown's Social House for lunch en route to Revelstoke. They have a lovely outdoor patio that can be enclosed and heated. We sat indoors in a spacious booth. Our server was prompt and attentive. We had the waffles, rice bowl and avocado toast. Everything was excellent. Great family friendly place. read more

The service here is consistent and professional every time. I usually eat the same few items but last visit, one of the servers suggested a new item called Smashed Avocado Toast. It's is EXCELLENT! Our server today was my all-time favourite of ANY Browns locations. Her name is Erin and has blue-ish amazing hair. I recommend you ask for her section on your next visit here. But the MAIN reason I come to Browns before other restaurants is the music. "Same Love" is playing and it defines my life. I had a dinner and a brunch at this browns. The veggie burger I had for dinner was great, and I loved the cowboy salad on the side. Crunchy, delicious and healthy. What's not to love. The brunch though was not nearly as good. The prosciutto on the egg benedict was dry, and the steak in steak n' egg was not flavourful. I was disappointed by both dishes. read more

I love going to browns social house when I am in chilliwack. I like the fish and chicken tacos

Used Skip the dishes to order from here as I had some referral credits. Had 5 adults and 2 kids to order for. The delivery time was about half the time stated, which was great. When we got the order, everything was in one bag. The cold/rawer stuff was on top (Ahi tuna poke bowl and spicy tuna roll) which I thought should have been packed separately but when we opened the rest, it didn't really matter as everything was cold. The fries were barely lukewarm and the yam fries were cold, almost like they were put under the warming lights for a few minutes and that was it. The spicy sauce on the spicy tuna was good and the spicy chicken was too spicy. After everything was given out to everyone, we realized that one order was missing. Pretty much as soon as we discovered that, the restaurant was calling me to let me know. The gentleman who called delivered the missing item and gave me a $25 gift card. I also received the monies back in Skip credits! This made me rate 4 instead of 3! read more

Best Fish Tacos in town. The fries are also really good and we can honestly say we've never had a bad meal at BSH. The service is fantastic and the bartender is not shy with the drinks making them tasty and strong. We've had the burgers and pizza as well and both were very good but we find ourselves coming back to the fish tacos again and again. Service was mediocre at best. Really did not care whether we were satisfied or not. As when we complained about the food the server didn't care. First course, Nachos. Very inconsistent. Half the chips had too much cheese, half had none. Salsa tasted like there was a lot of sugar in it. Barely any veg on them. Chipotle lime chicken was delicious. Second course, Wings. We asked for salt & pepper. We received salt & pepper & dried rosemary. I don't know why. Also, there was only 2 flats and the rest drumettes. Again, inconsistent. Third course, Key Lime Pie. I have no idea what was wrong with this pie, but it was the most bitter key lime I've ever had. Bitter? Again, I don't know why. Explained to the server, she didn't care.
