Tortellini Ratatouille
James M.

I had been coming to the Mission Station Grill for the past eight years now and have enjoyed every single meal. From their appetizers and salads to their pasta dinner and main entrees, they succeed my taste buds. Even with their expansive menu choices, they always serve something different from their daily special Lunch, Dinner and Brunch menus, which I mainly order from. The staff is courteous and enthusiastic in their work. I had never recalled having any problems with the service. I even like the restaurant's theme of trains, where you see the interior is decorated with portraits and even a train kiddy ride in the corner. The rest of the restaurant is mildly lit, which I like in an establishment, and seems very clean and orderly. If I had any complaints about the restaurant, I would say the coffee there is sort of bland, but that is it. If there were any dishes I would recommend, I suggest trying their schnitzels, the braised brisket, which is one of their dinner specials that is served often, and the Station Salad. This is the best restaurant in Mission for both dinner and brunch.

Neptune Schnitzel with Crispy Fries and Sautéed Vegetables

Came to this place for the first time for a meal.. Decent ambience and plenty of seating and parking, not too far from downtown Mission.. The Hostess was very polite and welcoming, helped choose the most popular Schnitzel item on the menu i.e. Neptune Schnitzel.. Substituted potatoes with crispy fries. The order came in a short while and was topped with Shrimp and Cream Sauce, a hearty portion.. Taste wise it was decent and the Veal was breaded and done well.. There's lots of different items on the menu, will try to stop by again and taste some of the Pastas that looked good..

Strongbow for those who love dry cider.

At first glance, looks like a swell place, located adjacent to the nostalgic sounds of a working railway. Parking is easy. Reservations recommended. We were seated immediately, service was friendly and prompt. Lovely mocktail made for one of the group! Strongbow cider or iced tea for the rest. Entree selection this time was Chicken Souvlaki, veal schnitzel, 1/2 rack of ribs, side of ribs! All posted 4.5-5 stars!!

Pork schnitzel with roasted potatoes and veggies

The food was so good. We both got something different to try and the portions were huge. The staff was so friendly and very prompt to help. The atmosphere of the restaurant was what we like not dressy more of a casual place but with a huge menu selection. We will for sure be going back. The calamari was tender and crispy. we deff couldn't eat the whole meal. Can't wait to try some of the other dishes and appies.

Large portions and homemade food for a decent price. Added bonus of the staff being friendly.

What a lovely place! We aren't in Burlington often so haven't had much chance to stop here. Glad…read morewe did! Ambiance is on point. Cocktail list is large and has great variety. The seasonal we had was inventive and delicious. That old fashioned was honestly excellent - peep how they froze the cherry in the rock. Cute! Burger - great Cheesesteak - great with some flair (I wanna say maybe some gochugang somewhere in there?) Fries - really good and plentiful Service - if they didn't shine elsewhere (and they do) they'd really shine here. All helpful and witty. If you have business in Burlington - eat here If you don't have business in Burlington but find yourself hungry on that stretch of the interstate - eat here. We only had to wait a few minutes - 5 minutes maybe - before they called us in to be seated. Once seated we were served water and then they began taking drink orders. Since we were there for Sunday Brunch we waited a bit for the stragglers to arrive before ordering our meals. Service in general was excellent. Very timely without hovering. I ordered their Double Bloody Mary, a drink they are well known for around these parts. It's a drink and a meal all in one! The Bloody Mary was decent. Not the best I've ever had, but still tasty. Included, on skewers were two small biscuit sliders with egg, ham and cheese, three sausage meatballs, two large bacon wrapped potato chunks, a couple of pickled peppers, a chunk of apple, two blue cheese stuffed olives, a chunk of cheese, ham and salami. It also contained a big celery and carrot stick. It was supposed to have a dill pickle spear but I guess they forgot that or ran out. With it you get your choice of vodkas. I chose Tito's. This was all served in a quart size Mason Jar! Everyone else ordered other items and they all seemed to enjoy not only their drinks but their food as well. Salmon Scramble was really enjoyed by the son in law and stuffed French toast was great according to my wife. Several ordered the Breakfast Burrito in a Bowl and enjoyed it. They have an extensive breakfast menu available for brunch so a second visit will be in order. All in all it was a nice way to celebrate a birthday and eat brunch. Well worth a visit.
