Another excellent meal at Milestone's. The Langley location is always consistent and tasty. The food was great (although a little bit of an over cooked issue with my 1989 Burger that got quickly resolved and replaced with a fresh new one). The garlic and Parmesan fries were perfectly seasoned and crispy. We also had the M Bowl and coconut calamari, both of which were also really delicious. We ended our meal off with a Dulce de leche cheesecake which was the perfect choice. The service was outstanding. Our server Cameron was exceptional which is very refreshing as many servers these days have become somewhat complacent and almost entitled. His smile and good attitude made our meal even better. Me and my boyfriend really enjoy going to this location. Milestones never really was on our radar before but whatever change they went through the past two years has really been great. The food is so much more appealing now and relatively reasonably priced with its competitors and stuff are very nice. Do you like this location because it is close in the neighbourhood but it can get very busy so be warned. We have gone for breakfast and enjoyed their menu and also for dinner, which makes for a great date night. My personal favourite dishes are the avocado toast, the classic spinach dip for sharing, and the steak sandwich for devouring by yourself. read more

We have to be right up front, that we used to frequent this establishment a significant number of years back, quite a bit. Our experiences went from ok, to not so great so we just eliminated it from our list of places to go. My Aunt was down for a visit and with her Daughter, and we planned on getting together for brunch. She suggested Milestones, and as she was the star guest, we agreed. How bad could it be? Well...... we are here to say that we have been there four more times for brunch in the two months since we tried it again. The service has been great, the food very good, and consistent, which was not the case in our previous experiences. The chain has recently changed ownership, so plenty of changes to take in, including previous gift cards not being honoured, CAA discounts gone etc. That said we found the food to be much improved, prices more in line with what they should be, and tasty to boot. We are usually fairly critical as far as the food quality, quantity and taste go, but cannot find any fault at all. We will be back for sure! read more

There has been some changes! The menu is different and they have updated the inside of the restaurant - we loved it! I had the black and blue burger - SO good. I was so stuffed! My husband had the Thai Basil Noodles - he loved them. They were a little spicy but full of flavour. We shared the Wham-Bam Shrimp - SO GOOD - I can't wait to have them again! The drinks were great - prices were good as well. We really enjoyed ourselves and can't wait to come back and try some other menu items! read more

I went to the Milestones in Langley for lunch with my elderly aunt and uncle. My aunt ordered a salad with salmon, and the salmon was overcooked. When the waitress came to check on us, she immediately said that my aunt's meal would be recooked to her satisfaction. The manager then came over to apologize, and comped my aunt's meal for us. Not many restaurants offer this level of service anymore. Milestones went above and beyond to make sure my aunt was satisfied with the quality of her meal. The rest of the food was excellent, but the service really made the experience shine. read more

Happy Hours at Milestones are the bomb with specialty drinks, roasted brussel sprouts, squid as 2 of my faves! The salmon hash on weekend brunch is fabulous, generous serving too! We needed some fuel today and wanted a yummy brunch! We were seated right away which was nice as it was noon on a Sunday. We ordered the Strawberries and cream French toast and the Ultimate breakfast sandwich. The french toast was cooked perfectly. A good amount of egg mixture on the bread, not soggy and not too dry! My only complaint would be not enough strawberries! Ok the ultimate breakfast sandwich was so damn good. It was a messy one but the flavour explosion in your mouth make the mess worth it. The bacon was so tasty, they put arugula which gave it a peppery taste, tomatoes, over easy eggs...delish! its big and can totally be shared. We also ordered americanos and it was so good. Nice and strong. 4 stars for service. She was slow and we constantly had to wait for her. read more

had Ashley M as our server on Father's Day and the experience was suboptimal. I ordered the ultimate classic breakfast and got the regular and I ordered sourdough toast but got multigrain. Service was very slow and took 20 minutes minimum to get a coffee after ordering for one of the people at our table for example. Table maintenance was lacking as well in terms of empty sugar packets, chopsticks, cutlery etc. My dad has a disability and I noticed her give a weird look when he was ordering, don't know if it was intentional but it's important to be aware of facial expressions when on the floor. Decided to give them another try tonight with my husband and son. Big mistake. Had some cocktails and waited TWO HOURS for our food on a Wednesday night and the restaurant was not busy at all. Ended up taking all the food to go so that I could put my young child to bed at a decent time. We went for Mothers day brunch and all that was available was the patio as all the inside tables had been reserved for the entire day. The day turned a little chilly but they had a table right under the gas heater so everyone was comfortable. The food here is alway very consistent, great coffee hot & fresh, deserts that never disappoint especially the White Chocolate Cheesecake, mmmmm and I do appreciate the way they take care of things when your visit here doesn't go as smoothly as normal. I do have to say being a Milestones regular, that the Langley restaurant in comparison to different locations is at least one step above. Everything right done to the vibe is a little bit nicer than others... not sure why but it just is. Even though it was packed the service was great, friendly, upbeat and prompt. I didn't Even really know who our main server was because we had so many different staff taking care of us, we felt that we got pretty special treatment, But the staff at this location always really work hard to take care of you! Browns Socialhouse is usually my go-to Langley restaurant for catching up with my friends when I'm visiting but yesterday we decided to try something different and went to Milestones a few steps away. It wasn't very busy for a Friday night, which we were happy about because it made it a lot easier to hear and talk to each other. Our server was wonderful, cracking jokes while ensuring our food was good and water was full. I ordered the Old Fashioned Burger and my friend ordered the new Caprese Crispy Chicken Sandwich. I had waffled between getting fries or a salad on the side and our server told me the most amazing thing - "You can get half sides of both." My world will never be the same. I was still reeling so I told our server to surprise me with the salad. The portion of the half fries was about the same size as a full portion at Browns and was seasoned with the perfect amount of salt and the half size California Spring Salad was delicious (a must-try!) although I picked out half of the red onions. The burger was great, bigger than I expected and full of flavour, but nothing to write home about. Our server had accidentally punched in my friend's order wrong and he was served a different burger, but she was so apologetic about it and the kitchen put a rush job on his sandwich so that it was done in five minutes. The manager even came by to apologize personally and this was all done without my friend throwing a fit or anything - it was just automatic, great customer service. The sandwich looked amazing, with the cheese melting on the chicken patty (the sandwich pictured with my friend was the wrong sandwich though). My friend also ordered the half fries and half salad (Caesar) and after we felt good about getting our vegetables in, we ordered the Decadent Duo for dessert, which was amazing. Next time, I would just go straight to ordering the White Chocolate Cheesecake because it was so good. Everything about it was perfect from the excessive whipped cream to the Oreo crust. Milestones is a little more expensive than other restaurants in the area, to be sure, but we loved it and walked out satisfied with the food and the service. Great place! read more

Was here last night for a friends stagette dinner. =) I have not been to Milestones in ages!! But found myself at the Robson location for brunch a week ago and again a week later....lol. (i will make a review for Robson st after this) We were seated in their outdoor patio..which was tucked behind and off to the side and enclosed in a beatiful green garden world! I loved the way it looked, and it had such a `secret garden`feel. =) our server, jason, was a delight..very polite (even with some of the -ahem- picky high maintenance diva`s that were there..ahem..uh, not me!). i commend him for his patience and if i could`ve taken him to the side to apologize for the snarkiness of some of the ladies present, i woulda! i ordered from the special features menu... starter: watermelon and grilled golden beets salad with goats cheese. this was the perfect summer salad..light, refreshing.. and damn good. i cleaned that plate off and coulda had another full plate! main: grilled chicken breasts with goats cheese (it was a goats cheese theme night! lol), on a bed of bok choy and chick peas. perfectly done, loved the charcoal grilled flavor... nothing on this plate had a chance... another empty plate returned to the kitchen! 2 of the ladies ordered the seafood salad...and it looked SOO good..i was tempted to order it too! but i held back.... maybe next time... read more

We had a super great server tonight at Milestones...she was so friendly and efficient...wish I could remember her name! The Thai Red Curry was decent but I think the best part was the Caesar Salad that came with our Old fashioned Burger. Bellini's were on special tonight you can't go wrong with an Original Bellini! They just recently renovated the Langley location. Looks great in there. They seated us in the bar at first but changed us to a booth when we asked! read more

Last night my daughter, niece and I decided after a little back to school shopping we would go to Milestone's as I had a gift card to use that could help save a little money off our bill especially after the day and how expensive things are these days. We went out of our way from Maple Ridge to Langley specifically to use this gift card when we could have gone locally. We had our meal and I presented the gift card at the time I asked for the bill. The waitress told us we couldn't use the card as they are no longer part of the Ultimate Dining Card. I asked if I could talk to a manager to confirm. When the manager came over she was firm reiterating what the waitress had said, but offered us dessert, at that time we were full and don't normally eat dessert so I declined. I mentioned if their name is on the card they should be honouring whatever cards they received until they are permanently removed, not doing so is bad business practice. She stood by her word that I still can't use the card and apologized. Very disappointed how this was handled...so for those of you out there that have the Ultimate Dining Card, beware! I am really cool with Chef Roy Flemming, who is also one of the Area Managers of this chain, so you already know this was on my list of must-trys. I went for lunch and I must say, the customer service was exceptional. Drew was very accommodating and had the food out in record time. For appetizer I had the calamari. Not that tentacle nonsense either, but the calamari steaks. I'm never having calamari again unless it's served this way. For real. For my entree, I had the miso glazed black cod with edamame and potato hash, shitake mushrooms and a lemon coconut broth to finish. The crispy skin on the cod was excellent and the broth definitely tied the dish together and told a wonderful story. For dessert, I had the ganache torte with a pecan crust on a bed of caramel sauce. I love me some chocolate, especially ganache. In addition, there are also some Top Chef Canada inspired dishes on the menu, as well as the signature bellinis and brunch served every day. After talking with Roy and eating at his restaurant gives me a different outlook at how I view chain restaurants. I'm glad I left BC on a good note and I will be sure to return. read more

Sometimes for work I have to go for lunches and pay for them (thank you company credit card!) I was working out of Langley this day and thought to myself "SELF! What can we eat that accommodates all of our picky palates?" Milestones. They have good eggs benedict, so I figured lunch would be okay. Took my wife out for a nice dinner with some gift cards we received. Neither of us have been here before, and we found it quite nice. We chose the "39.99 includes the wine" deal and totally enjoyed ourselves. We got 4 courses and every course was delicious. The only beef I had about the food was the garlic Caesar would have been nicer with a hint of anchovy, but hey, I know I am one of the few that likes that stuff.. So no biggy. We also chose the behringer merlot and the behringer cabsauv. Both were nice but the merlot is the best.. Very nice.. All in all, an awesome dinner, but we found that the waitress bringing the check before we even received our dessert was a bit tacky. Other than that I am sure we'll be back.. Went to meet an old friend, just had beers and an appetizer. The server, Adryon(sp?) was great. He poured my beer, 'just so': not too much head, not too little. My appy, was the Wicked Kobe Beef Sliders. They were fine. The bun was a little too dry for my liking, but the beef, onion straw, and dipping sauce were all quite tasty little bundles. I loved my experience at the guilford milestones. So I brought the family to the Langley one for my dad's birthday. What a disappointment. All our meals were very underwhelming. My ahi tuna tacos were bland and small. My dads steak was super fatty. I took a pic of all the scraps he had to cut off. They also forgot the aioli that was suppose to come on 2 of the dishes. We had to ask. At least the staff were nice and the service was quick, but for the prices this milestones really needs to step it's game up. read more

Usually that's my go to appie for these chain type of restaurants (Cactus, Joey's, Earls, Browns) but this was the most overpriced saddest little plate of calamari I've ever had. It was a rather bland, tiny portion (definitely not meant to be a shares appetizer for more than 2 people) of the saddest little plate of calamari that i have ever seen. It was served on some stale fried tasteless rice noodles along with a dipping sauce that I can only say was strange tasting at best. We also had the chicken caprese sandwich and the roast beef dip that were just okay. The service was not bad though. read more

Of all the food chains in this category, Milestones takes top honours IMO. Service is exceptional (thank you Kamilah!) & food is delicious and nicely presented. I love the Sicilian mussels, ahi tuna tacos (that crispy avocado!), Mediterranean bruschetta...oh & the Benny! The smoked salmon one is a must try. I'm not a big fan of chain restaurants, but if I'm going to eat one, Milestones is it. Great menu selection & yummy food. Like most chains though, some of their prices seem quite high (especially the salads), but I guess that's just the way it is. read more

I had a Cali burger with a Caesar. Husband had the ravioli. Plating is well done, husband was disappointed with the portion. My burger was filling and messy - as any great burger ought to be. Our server was very friendly and prompt. Prices can be a bit high for some items but fresh ingredients and quality so it's mostly worth it. Worth a return visit. read more
