Little on wasn't hungry but convinced her to at least get the mini burger and chips off the happy hour menu, she was was happy. Hubby had a perfectly cooked medium rare steak sandwich and fries that was tasty and our son got the double pepperoni pizza minus the toaster garlic and pepperoncinis. Brunch menu had lots of pulled pork options. I had the eggs with pulled pork and it was good. My mom had the southern style fried chicken on waffles which she enjoyed. Service a little slow maybe they were short staffed in the kitchen. I would love to sit in the patio but it wasn't available until 4 pm. I saw the nachos and was almost tempted to try that. Absolutely EXCELLENT service!!! Food was delicious!!! So here's the breakdown: Came in at 6pm was greeted by a very friendly hostess to which my friend and I were seated. Andrea the restaurant supervisor came to our table to remind us of our complimentary two entrees and two bar drinks. From their my buddy got the dry ribs appy and myself the always favourite hot wings. Both us thoroughly enjoyed them. For drinks I had a beer, he milk. After our appetizers we ordered our mains. He got the CAB NY Striploin Steak and I had the Cajun blackened chicken over a bed of seasonal veggies (baby potatoes, green beans and beets!) The entrees were excellent!!! I've eaten at this location twice now. It's a lot bigger then the New West location. Some nights they have live music and it gets PACKED !! They have nightly drink specials. One of the nights I was there it was half price wine and we enjoyed a bottle of Riesling. We also always get the Pesto Prawn pizza but on the deep dish crust. It's awesome ! read more

So Negroni's do not have chard orange peels nor did it come with a large ice cube, if you can't make a drink properly you shouldn't have it on the menu. As for the service, I don't even know how to put into words, it is hard to reiterate what happened, bottom line a customer should never feel the stress nor what the restaurant is going through. It was painful and confusing. The hostess was rude, annoyed and couldn't give a clear answer for the life of her. The manager came over and was even worse.. we were told that the place had too many reservations and that we would be better off just coming in so that's what we did we came in put our name on the list waited the 45 minutes when we came back the place still had multiple open tables. so when we added one more person to our seven, it was a big problem, even though they sat at a table for 10. we asked to be split up as we didn't need to stay in a group, it was the most painful confusing thing for them. While we were there the table we asked to split our group up Stayed empty the entire time, that apparently had reservations on it. Our server tried at a 50% then adding a gratuity onto the bill was unfortunate as we all would've tipped more if they didn't put that on. The food was awful. The dirty fries were all made and sat getting cold, there was hardly any toppings on them. Just unfortunate as we're here a lot for sports and makes it inconvenient staying at the hotel to have such a horribly run restaurant that would be convenient. luckily Browns and cactus club are only four minutes away. Wow!!!! The popcorn shrimp is the BEST I've ever had. It even comes with popcorn! Friendly staff and good price point. It's attached to the Casino, the eating area has a pool table and an ATM. There is also patio seating. Adult accompanied minors are allowed until 10pm. Looking forward to the double pepperoni and mushroom pizza we just ordered. See you here :) read more

they took forever to bring our food. poutine was way over salty and some of the fries were not done all the way. the blackened chicken sandwich was actually really delicious. however the greens salad was not my thing l, whatever the green sauce is and the goat cheese has threw it off. we had asked for refills and it took 10 minutes. the environment however is nit to bad. a little loud but seating is comfortable. read more

Went for Happy Hour, which actually goes until 6 pm. Food was great, car hop burgers and fries. Our server, Chelsea, was so attentive and friendly. We go there often and she always takes the time to chat with us even when we are not seated in her area. read more

Service was terrible and the slowest kitchen ever. It was a combination of both. Our meal of appetizers took 2 hours, and included cold food and multiple mistakes. The Caesar Salad was just excellent and has been a long time since having, a nice flavoured restaurant Caesar Salad. Whole garlic cloves with the abundant white dressing, helped. The half ribs, half chicken plate we're good but it would have been better if the kitchen had prepared it for me instead of a couple of days ago and noted because telltale dryness. Not a bad place to check out before the casino. Their drink menu is great, especially their wines. The prices for both food and drinks are reasonable for the quality you are receiving. I'd recommend the chicken bites for an appetizer, and I had the striploin as an entree which was alright. For dessert their baked cookie is regular sized (do not confuse with the BP panookie!) and their chocolate cake was very tasty albeit a tad on the drier side. The service was decent for a Wednesday night as I was dining with a large party. There's also a lot of TV's so it is easy to watch the games with your friends. I'd encourage everyone to check out their daily specials and take a little detour before entering Cascades. :) read more

But the way we got treated at Match Langley was degrading. I thought I was the only one, but reading the reviews below of the experience I had , many others had too. They need to re-structure the management and staff here or this place is going downhill. The service and management is horrible here. I would avoid this place. Being a regular at cascade casino, I popped in on Dec 9th for a quick bite while I was on the wait list for Poker. My brother and I stood around to be seated for 10 minutes. They saw us standing there but not one staff member came up to us to greet us, let us know if there was a wait to be seated or if a table is available. We stood there like we were non-existent to them. While making eye contact with staff that was just standing around and not approaching us once. After some time and after a line started forming behind us, I just went up myself to the bar and asked one of the bartenders , "Do you guys have a table available?". Then we got seated. Imagine if we never asked they would never have seated us. Once we got seated, no server or staff member came to our table for 20 minutes! My brother and I just sitting there once again, the staff noticing us and making awkward eye contact, but not even having the professionalism to bring 2 glasses of water and take our order. Then finally, after being frustrated and hungry, I went to the bar AGAIN myself. Saw a waitress, told her we had been waiting for 20 minutes and not a single person had come up to us to take an order or ask if we would like drinks. She was kind enough to bring us 2 glasses of water. Then finally, our server came to our table. I saw this same server standing around while we were waiting for a table and she saw us waiting too but did not once come up and say, let me get someone to help you get seated. Than once seated, she saw us sitting there the whole time with menus on the table and no drinks or food For 20 mins. Already frustrated about the situation, I spoke my mind to let her know how bad the service is and this is not the way to treat a customer. Explained to her how long we had been waiting. Rather than being apologetic or concerning concerned, she was being really rude in return, talking with an attitude, and saying something on the lines: "Well, I am here now if you want something put in an order if not ill leave" or Maybe she said you " you can leave". After that, my brother and I got up and left. We have never been treated like that in any establishment. While walking out, I went and talked to the manager. The manager was non apologetic himself, but defended the horrible service we got and defended the way the server talked to us. His excuse was he saw us being "aggressive" towards the server. First of all, it was only me who talked, not my brother, and not once I raised my voice, swore, or said anything disrespectful, I told the server the reason of my frustration. I was seated the whole time when talking to the server. How aggressive I can really get while seated? If stating there lack of professionalism and bad service is being aggressive, so be it. I did not see the manager nowhere close when I was talking to the server. If the manager saw us being so "aggressive " why did he not intervene? Because he didn't see what happened and just sided with the server. Which only encourages the staff to get away with their bad customer service. This place needs to be revamped with new staff and management. Look at the reviews below. I am not the only one who has got rude servers and bad service here. I feel like 3.5 stars would be more accurate. Got the beet salad and a blackened fish taco. Taco was small and dry but flavour was decent. Salad was over dressed so the spring mix was wimpy and the beets tasted nothing like beets. They just tasted strongly of the pickling brine. I liked the dressing flavour and the pecans were a nice touch. For the price, I would have expected a bit better food. Salad was $15, taco was $5. Service was pretty good. read more

I've come here often enough to notice some changes, but from the opening day to today, i noticed that they have made the pizzas a little smaller. Some of the waitresses are great but some of them can be a little unprofessional. The wait time is really long for the food even if its not during busy hours. The prices are a little pricey for a small portion and I have noticed that some waitresses continue to talk to their co-workers or other customers instead of cleaning up tables around them.. There is a man that works as a waiter and a cook that was super friendly and also a waitress with a short haircut was really nice. read more

When check came, we were charged full price $8.00 for beers. Server argued that we did not order happy hour beer...oh well. NOT! Also the service was totally unacceptable. Waited forever for water..then had a bottle thrown on the table and no glasses?? Ordered ranch dressing to go with wings..never got it. Received our check that we had specifically said separate checks..6 of us. Nope..all on one check. Need I say more?? Food was so so..fish tacos are great tho. So does one pay $$50-60 for 2 happy hour snacks and 4 beers and truly crappy service??? Brought my family to Match for lunch last week...sat on the amazingly comfy patio...it was hot out there but the misters kept us nice and cool! The food was amazing!! We had a fish burger, chicken and waffles, pasta, dip your beef and a few kids meals for the kids. The kids fish and chips my daughter raved about!! Our server Jamie was super friendly, very knowledgeable about the menu and very attentive! I highly recommend this new place and Jamie will take super good care of you! Our server was horrible. We came in on a saturday, around 1 o'clock, and could not get service for 10 minutes. I went to the washroom on a pretext and saw her chatting to one of the customers at the bar. She eventually shied up and and seemed ver put out that she had to take our order. When declared that the diet coke was flat she screwed up her face and said that it wasn't flat. We will never sit in her section again if we come back. Not good. Except the food. The food was good. This establishment is attached to the Cascades Casino in Langley. For that reason, and because it's the only casual dining on site, one would expect that casino patrons of various ages would go for a bite.Hence it would be a good idea to be able to cater to said casino patrons. The music was so loud we could not hear each other - 2 couples yelling at each other from across a small table, not very enjoyable. According to Janna (who was apparently 'in charge') there's a "DJ" and they try to create a "nightclub atmosphere" ...during a pandemic when it's not really a good idea to have drinking patrons roaming from table to table screaming at the top of their lungs to be able to hear each other...spreading germs. So, due to Covid there is no dancing, table hopping (there definitely was), and the music is so loud people have to literally yell at each other. Irresponsible. We ask to speak to someone in charge. Janna comes to speak with us to explain the reason for the loud music...and it's so loud she removes her mask to literally scream her response in our faces so we could actually hear...gross! No hand soap in the bathroom I went in. A full, seemingly backed up urinal across the hall from that and this was one terrible dining experience. The hostesses here need to figure out what they are doing. They are disorganized, frazzled and rude. For some reason they even brought it upon themselves to talk down to us. We were horrified at their disposition and attitude. We were seated right next to a pool table too! We had to move our bodies for the men playing pool to take some shots. Just very odd seating! Once we met our server we felt much better. Although she could have learned more about the restaurant and the drinks they serve or don't serve. The food was great. Match has a great atmosphere but that is about it. Do not have the lettuce wraps. Very greasy. Chicken bites all right. Drinks were fair prices however took a long time to come. Service was mediocre. I suggest if you are in a group of more than four people you either pay as you go or make sure you know exactly what you have because they're incapable of handling more than two bills at a time. I came here for their UV&Me event this past weekend and was thoroughly impressed! I had a large party for 15 guests that happened to coincide with the event. The venue was clean & the ambience was all you could want for a weekend evening out with friends. We were seated near the DJ and the bar which is always a great combo. Drinks were refreshing - I'd highly recommend the Champagne Sangria. Food was all out on the table at the same time, no issues. They have a very interesting PB&J burger that you NEED to try!
