Every time we travel towards the Okanagan, Home Restaurant in Hope has been a favourite stop-over for brunch, aside from the pies the foods were satisfying and delicious, perfect to fulfill your stomach for long trips. My first meal at Home was two years ago I had the Home Country Omellete and my sister had the Benny Omellete, the serving came in great amounts, hot and delicious. Last month, we tried different menus like Meatloaf dinner and Braised Short Rib, the beef was okay it was tender but not that tasty for me, it's the gravy that's tasty and the mashed potatoes that come was creamy and buttery. My sister had the meatloaf dinner which I tasted was so good, it was full of flavour, tender and moist. The wedge fries that come with it were crispy and not oily. Once again, a great amount of serving that we need to take out some of it. I would like also to mention how great the staffs are, even though it's busy the servers we had were friendly and attentive. Even though there is a lineup outside they don't rush you, and I can see them cleaning the tables well before the next customers sit in. Lastly, the pies, I'm not much into pies but Home Restaurant pies are just so good, we tried different flavours and so far we liked it all. The crusts are light and flaky, the berries have the right amount of sweetness and plenty of filling. The cheesecake pie is dense and moist, they also have coconut pie, lemon meringue pie and my favourite is the chocolate banana pie. At the moment it's our favourite pie place, which we make sure to stop again and buy a whole pie on our way back home. To anyone travelling and passing by Hope, I highly recommend checking Home Restaurant, it is an excellent spot for brunch and dinners, plus their dessert pie is a must. Expect that there will be a line of people but be patient because, in my experience, it was worth it.

A friend told us to stop here on our way to Kelowna and we're glad we did. For a diner, the food is really decent. Nothing was too salty, sweet, or greasy like most diner food. Service was really fast on a Monday afternoon. Food came out super quick within 10 minutes. The chicken club salad was refreshing after sitting in the car for so long (driving from Vancouver). Poutine was good, too. The gravy wasn't too salty which was awesome. The pies are delicious. We will stop by again on our way back.

Was fish and chips with gravy

Solid home style Canadian diner with excellent perogies and crispy corned beef sandwich. The must order are their pies. I will come back here to try their hamburger and schnitzel! The fish had too much batter and too greasy (nothing too special) - the fries were good.

I really liked this place! My boyfriend and I came here after "hiking" (read: lazy strolling on a rainy day) around Hope and were impressed with the place even before entering. Parked before the restaurant was a Jeep with the cutest two poodles in the front seats waiting for their owners - but I digress... The portions here were super generous and the service, although a bit slow, was polite and efficient. I liked that the menu has a little something for everyone, truly felt nice and welcoming like home. If you're by Hope, stop by for a bite!

we waited over 1 hour for breakfast , when we asked for water we where met with very rude staff that glared at us and proclaimed she would get it when she had a minute . it was busy but we where not being demanding and waiting patiently , thankfully the rest of the staff was amazing and quickly swooped in and got us water where amazing , maybe the other waitress was having a bad day and we all have them but i feel the way she treated us was unacceptable.

Beef special with fried onions, mashed, and gravy. Tasty, good food, though nothing special or flavorful.

Good meal, served nice and hot. Good service, friendly. The mashed potatoes tasted very good and seemed like they were made in-house. The beef special was acceptably good though nothing special. The strawberry-rhubarb pie was filling and good, though all the tartness of the rhubarb had been overshadowed. The place was busy on a weekday at dinnertime, and I can see why.

Stopped into Home restaurant as a pit stop on our way to Osoyoos. So glad we stopped in! A bit of a wait for a table but well worth the wait. Our breakfast was made perfectly and promptly. Our son was acting out when he someone else get French fries and started yelling for fries, well next thing you know the waitress came and presented him with a little dish of fries which was so sweet and thoughtful. She even offered him jello at the end of the meal. I cant wait to come back on our next road trip and try lunch as the lunch offerings that were being ordered smelled and looked delicious. A perfect family friendly restaurant with reasonable prices.

Meatloaf. Portion was huge and can be shared between two people

They are known for their pies (sweet ones not savory pies). But I am not sure what so special about it. Had it and it tasted like any ordinary pies. Maybe its because they are made with real fruits. Anyways I ordered a meat loaf last time I was here and boy their portion was gigantic. I wanted to share with my sister but she refused. Problem is my meat loaf was made for 2 person. (I am not a small eatter so I really mean the portion is huge). The meat are quite fresh So its not like it was made days before hand. This place is busy especially during lunch time. I don't think they have too many competitors. I would definitely come here again

I absolutely love the outdoor seating area as it is nestled among the pine trees and there are lots of seating options and some games you can play while waiting for your food. Beautiful surroundings. What most people come here for are the yummy large burgers and fries and shakes, etc. Although in their menu the offer sandwiches, wraps and salads too. Everyone I saw while there had burgers on their trays. The appetizers are also very yummy. We shared the garlic cheese curds to start and they were very tasty and served hot. Among our group of 5 people we tried a variety of the burger options including Jalapeno Burger, Grilled Onion Burger. I substituted the sweet tempura brussels sprouts for fries and another did onion rings. The rest of us had the delicious fries. The burgers were very big and difficult to finish for several of us so we took a lot of it home. While here we also ordered the special "Doggy Burger" for our dog. This is a basic cooked hamburger which we chopped up for the dog. And I also ordered a slice of the white chocolate raspberry dessert that the worker said was fresh out of the oven. That had to come home for a later day as we were stuffed. Great tasting food here! I'll be back.

Who can resist homemade Pie!?! Tja5 is where our adventure started. A fresh slice of homemade BlackBerry pie ala mode as an appetizer. Delicious blackberry filling with a light crust. We got a slice that was a bit dark, not my preference, and a bit on the small side for the price, but still a tasty way to start lunch. I split it with my husband which was a good thing because the the peanut butter, pickle and bacon burger came out. Holy Smokes! Dripping with PB goodness this is a hard burger to put down. A heaping side of fries helped mop up all the goodness that dripped into my plate. My husband had the ruben, which was just as mouthwatering. Pro tip: if you like garlic get the hand cut fries with garlic. I think they are a bit extra but worth it. Help support this great local diner next time you're anywhere near marblemount.

Here I was....after spending an entire day hiking wonderful Cascade Pass Trail...to then arrive here at Marblemount Diner at the end of the day....this was the perfect ending in having a home cooked hearty meal! I had just completed almost 10 miles of strenuous hiking down the road at North Cascades National Park. I then drove through this tiny town of Marblemount. And...I had read that Marblemount Diner was highly recommended. I was excited to try this place. When I stopped on by here back in August of this year, 2020 (during the pandemic) it was about 5pm - Thursday and the restaurant was empty. Lol, I guess I was just grateful they were open. But...after being tired from venturing all around on a cold and dreary day...I was craving simple, basic all-American food, and Marblemount Diner delivered with success. From the appearance on the outside of the restaurant, the diner certainly exuded a small, rustic, "mom and pop" type of feel...just the way I like em. I was greeted friendly and sat down immediately. Inside the restaurant...it had a cozy setting decorated with hometown pictures, lots of homages dedicated to being in the outdoors and among nature...and a very quaint "cabin-esque" ambiance set within the quiet mountain town of Marblemount. The menu was simple and basic, not too many options...but I sort of prefered it that way. Just stick to what's good. They had a section of... - Sandwiches - Fried Fish and Chicken - Salads - Kid's Meals - Beverages and Alcoholic Beverages - Desserts. That was it. So for me...I'm easy and can eat anything, and especially since I had built up a huge appetite, I had no issues finding something. I chose the Mushroom Burger - "with sauteed mushrooms dripping in Monterey Jack cheese" for $14.75. The burger also came with fries, lettuce, tomato, onions and a pickle in a basket. I also added a fountain soda. The mushroom burger was pretty big in size and with the fries...it was all quite fulfilling and "hit the spot" satisfying my hiker hunger, lol. Eventually, a little later during my time here the restaurant started filling up. Btw, tables were spread out so everyone was more than 6 feet apart. While eating my meal, I looked back on my photos from the day. I genuinely enjoyed taking my time eating, relaxing, and reflecting on my hiking while digging into a fresh hamburger all within this quiet little diner setting. Had I been visiting and staying in the town of Marblemount longer, I'd happily return to this diner. But just overall, I was enthusiastic about having the chance to end my day here at Marblemount Diner. Within the surroundings of the mountains of North Cascades National Park, for me...it didn't get any better than this!
