Twice when we came here, it was getting late ( past 1130 but we still were able to order food! ) While visiting, this was our go to place ! We came here 3 times, and each visit was 5/5! The staff were always friendly and attentive, but never overbearing. They had a huge awesome cocktail selection(including blended frozen delights !) at really reasonable prices. They always had a food and drink special going on. The food was always so very good - we kept coming back ! The atmosphere was super fun and laid back. They played good music at a perfect volume. They also had TVs that showed sports and a smaller one for lotto like Keno. Drinks we enjoyed included - Blended Frozen Peach Belini Bartenders Root Beer Mudslide White Russian Blended Frozen Strawberry Peach Margarita Pint of Canadian with a side of Clamato (my husband said it was the best type of Clamato- he was really pleased) Food selection included Potato Skins ( OMG The BEST Ever !! ) Beef Dip w/ceaser salad Calamari Artichoke Dip Double Bacon Cheeseburger w/onion rings Can't say enough good things about this place. Will defiantly return next time we are in the area.

Multiple errors on daily breakfast order let to my trying to assist young Manager(s) with solutions…read more- method of having order leads to error I also attempted similar breakfast orders with Tims to avoid treatment I was getting at McD's - told I could not have any further credits (basically accused of looking for free meals); as they are more conveniently on the side of street I needed traveling to work I returned months later only to be experiencing ongoing errors (average 3 per 7 days per week) Yes $200 in orders each month! 2nd time I went into the restaurant and the same Manager was having difficulties entering order (I believe due to excessive length of nails) as her frustrations increased she stopped and told me I was banned from the restaurant and to leave. This was with a small line behind me - totally embarrassed and peeved I followed up again with next level of Management locally and HQ. All agree mistreatement! This last attempt today after months of boycotting, I had the same error (Egg BLT no bacon winds up with bacon!!) now they blocked my cell number and when I used the landline and explained that error was made gave order number on label, I was asked for my name and then told to hold for a minute - call was then dropped just after telling my name. When I tried to call back it went to fax 1/2 hour later number will not connect. I'm a senior who was genuinely trying to assist the first time with cause of errors (both Tims and McD's) need to have asking for Egg BLT or Egg BELT changed because the cooks just see BLT or BELT and automatically place the bacon on! An assistant Manager at McDs went the extra mile suggesting I ask for an egg on bagel with lettuce and tomatoe and when she rang it in it was even cheaper - don't figure?! When I attempted this during the in person visit the Manager who I have had all the mistreatment and disrespect with could not manage the matter! As a retired Career Counsellor - my message is after all this and with all the young persons looking for work why would a business want to keep such an employee who is costing them on average $27/week in meal credits. All I hear now is over a Billion served - then one old persons business is not worth improving service over. On the contrary 7 days a week at $261/month is $3,141.60/year. As well now their commercial is two elderly folk at a pool!! Signed Mistreated HAF

Then we discover the "beyond meat" burger advertised ... so let's try it out....and of course add French fries. Beyond meat is a plant based product with 22 grams of protein compared with a mama burger which I think has a few less protein grams. It looked like a burger, was almost the texture of a burger, seemed a bit slimmer than the burger I would make and did not ooze any juices, but the sandwich with onion, lettuce and tomato was okay....cheese slice seemed skimpy... but the fries and root beer were good. Good fast service.

As an American, I thought I had eaten in most of the fast food places around, and had never thought…read moremuch of A&W in the states. The rootbeer in the U.S. was not particularly exciting or memorable to drink anymore. What a difference! This A&W has become my favorite fast food restaurant in Chilliwack. Let's start with cleanliness. The place is clean enough to eat off the floors, though I wouldn't recommend it! Their burgers are amazing, and cooked to order. Actually, everything there is cooked to order and comes to you piping hot. Then there is the rootbeer. Nothing like what is served in the states. This is the rootbeer I remember having as a child - served in a frozen mug it is outstanding. Even the diet version is excellent. While they also serve breakfast, I had yet another burger for breakfast. They also now have a vegetarian (vegan) burger that is just as wonderful as their beef burger. Best of all, they raise their own beef, grow their own veggies, and are wonderful people to deal with. Right on the edge of getting 5 stars, I can only give 4 to a fast food place.
