Nice quiet morning with the Boss. Popped in for breakfast. Pricing has gone up and menu is really pared down for breakfast. Greeted almost immediately, super friendly staff. Coffee was brought hot and fresh and the food soon followed. Classic bacon and eggs for me and the cheese steak hash for the boss. Delicious, the sour dough is just the best. Meeting up with a friend in Abbotsford and they wanted breakfast so stopped at this WhiteSpot. Opted for the Nat's Hearty Breakfast with hash browns and pancakes. The presentation and taste were excellent and came away very full and satisfied. That is a lot of food for breakfast and became more of a brunch. Our server was very professional and attentive and regularly refilled my coffee. It was a very positive breakfast experience and happy to recommend this WhiteSpot. read more

Stopped in for breakfast the other day with a buddy The server seemed uninterested and bored with absolutely zero enthusiasm which was reflected in her performance. She was Not friendly She forgot stuff and She didn't check on us during the meal and also didn't think to say anything other than are you done. He still tipped her .... quite generously too. I ordered the avocado impossible burger with zoo sticks, along with a strawberry and blueberry cheesecake, and pumpkin pie for desert through the weekend. The order was placed via SkipTheDishes. Everything came as ordered and the food was delicious. It was my first time having the impossible border from White Spot and it was very flavourful and filling. Impossible Burger is impossible to enjoy next to their world class veggie burger which is juicy and substantial. The new Impssible burger's texture is like barbecued cardboard. I been here now 3 times total and every time I have not been disappointed. The servers were so polite and were fast, the entire time people were fingering in and out so I guess the secret is out. Probably the number one place for me in Abbotsford for a casual evening dinner. It's the staff that make this place for sure. Nice, attentive and know when to leave you alone. The food is always very nicely prepared and the menu feature change-ups are always a nice refresh. 7 times out of 10 I'll choose this specific White Spot to eatout, the casual atmosphere always has me comming back! read more

Okay, so I know it's not the same as it used to be, but it's still one of the restaurants that I make sure to go to when I go home for a visit (So every two years I get to go) I love their Ceasar salad wrap, it's so good. Plus their french fries with mayo is yummy! I'm sad they don't have one in California. read more

I went with my sister and my niece to this location. The server was lovely and manager were good. However, the issue that I am sharing is over their hostess/ and her dishonesty and laziness over cleaning and checking the bathrooms. We had the booth right next to the washroom. The young hostess walked over at 1448 and signed the bathroom checklist multiple times. What she put her initials to was that she checked the bathrooms ( mens, women's and alternate ) for cleanliness and supplies. She signed that she checked it at 1500 and 1600. Imagine us, it was only 1448 I do not think she can attest to future cleanliness. So, with that dishonestly and lack of witnessing the state of White Spot washrooms to make sure they are covid safe,I will not be visiting that location. I will also follow up with the inspectors to make sure that covid 19 protocols are kept to standard at this location. read more

It was date night for the mrs. and I so White Spot was the place I choice as the Langley and Walnut Grove location is always super busy an the line for a table is just unreal. We waited for roughly 10 minutes for a table which was pretty good seeing that it was a Saturday night and most people were just waiting for their take out which they called ahead for. Promptly seated at our table for two we for the table that was a tiny booth right next to the kitchen runway with the bonus of hearing the serving staff communicating by yelling loudly and a lot if foot traffic moving about. The booth was tiny but accommodating so it beat a table out in the middle of everything. Our server Megan was nice but being a nice server doesn't constitute being a great server which I will soon explain. She took our drink orders and it came back super fast. Ordered the fish and chips and the clubhouse which both were delicious but the club had too much mayo and the fish was perfect so no complaints. Back to the service I ordered a beer and a coke and we didn't even get a refill let alone ask for one with no word of any water either. Being a server you would want to up sell another beer but I wasn't even asked and that kind of ruined the experience as we both were thirsty. Food was great but the service needs some work read more

One thing is consistent with this location and it's the well prepared food. Well done cooks! The other side of the coin unfortunately is not great. The decor is well past it's best before date - particularly the carpets. They're absolutely disgusting! The serving staff take a lot for granted including the patrons. Management here is obviously weak at best. The entire team needs to bring some professionalism to their game. These are my continuing observations and not a one time experience. read more

Been here a few weeks ago, Service was ok. Very busy when we went to this location, lots of big parties. Food was great, left feeling very full, and satisfied. Would go to this location again. I've been going to White Spot for years but last night was my first time at this location. It was busy but not completely full. It took 30 mins until our waitress came over to take our order and then another 30 or so minutes for our food. For dessert I ordered a strawberry cheesecake and there were literally 2 pieces of strawberries on the plate and the piece of cheesecake itself was quite small. I'm not a very big eater so the latter is not a huge deal to me. However $7 for a small piece and with very minimal strawberries was quite disappointing. read more

I don't have high expectations for White Spot since I have found that the food they claim to be famous for is merely passable. I refer to the hamburgers which I think need a lot of work. But I was with people who wanted to eat here and I must say that I really enjoyed my curried coconut chicken soup. The chicken pot pie was a surprise. It looked like it had a somewhat collapsed chef's hat made from pastry as the top and I heard it was good. The chicken teriyaki was visually ordinary and apparently the same in taste. Calling mixed greens "artisan" is pretentious and ridiculous but we never did get to taste them because our waitress was careful to tell us that the kitchen was serving romaine and spinach instead. When we arrived I went to the bathroom which was neglected, had garbage on the floor and had no hand towels. It was not what I expect from a restaurant unless it is a Burger King on a deserted highway. Someone needs to check it regularly. Our waitress was the friendly and expert Gabriella (or maybe "Gabriel" but I don't like to fixate on a woman's chest) who contended with the kitchen's mistakes for another table and generally just had too much to do. The place was not particularly busy but there was a shortage of staff. Some of them had worked double shifts. I was not here the week before but the same friends had waited a long time for their order so it does seem the shortage of staff is a regular thing. read more

I don't even want to think about how many years I've been eating at White Spot. So long that I remember when the Hot Fudge Ice Cream Cake that they discontinued about 5 years ago was new. I miss the Hot Fudge Ice Cream Cake. In recent years their focus has moved away from the traditional burgers, fries and such. And I think they've lost a bit of what made them special for me - that homey feeling, that security that the Spot used to provide in the form of comfort food in a comfortable, welcoming environment. It's still welcoming, of course, but the burgers are a bit harder to find on the menu now and that old stalwart the BC Burger is now the Bacon Cheddar Bigger Burger (really, what was wrong with BC Burger? Bacon, cheddar, triple O: delish), and it's not quite as good as the old BC Burger was. But I'll still go there. Probably always will. It's like going home. read more

people need to know how the so called manager treats the guests that come in. Today November 2 myself and 6 others one being a child came to white spot to celebrate my friends birthday. We had called in advance to book a table for 6pm. When we all arrived at 6:05pm we were told are table was not ready and it would be a few minutes. Then we proceeded to would about 10 minutes. Normally this is no problem for us we understand things get busy. Once we are seated at are table are waitress was there pretty fast to take are drink order. She then came back about 10 minutes later with waters for the table as are drinks were going to be a bit longer ( 2 mixed alchohol drinks, a beer, and 2 fountain drink). This is when she took our food order. We then did not see her for another 45 minutes. This is when we finally got our drinks. Are food then came 15 minutes after that. It was then quickly noticed that they had gotten one of the meals wrong( sent out the wrong flatbread) we nicely asked if we could please get the one we ordered. It was taken back no problem. As everyone was eating our one friend was still waiting for her food to come back. It took 30 or more minutes till I finally got up to find a server to ask how much longer till the food would be out. She then said she would go check and at this time our friend decided to just cancel the food as everyone was already done and she was tired of waiting . We had not see are server since the food has been brought out. Shortly after the manager (Bishin) came over and asked us how we were doing. At this point we told him about the wait and the fact that our friend never got her food. He apologized and said he was going to take 20% off are Bill's. This was great we did not even expect to get anything we were just going to pay and leave. Then he came over and gave us 2 vouchers for 20$. We decided that the friend who's food never came and the birthday girl would get the vouchers. So when the bills came we looked at them and 20% was not taken off we did not say anything as they had the vouchers. So they gave the 2 20$ vouchers to the server to get it taken off there bill. When the Bill's were retured only 10$ were taken off the 2 out of 3 Bill's. When 20$ was supposed to be removed. At this point we were all frustrated by the service. One person took the Bill's and went and talked to the manager to get it sorted out. I did not personally go but as it was told to me the manager demanded that he took 40$ off our combined Bill's (this was not true) he then tried to explain to the manager that we just tried to use the vouchers but the wrong amount was taken off. The manger then cut him off and took the Bill's to "fix them". Bishin then came back to are table were he tried to keep saying that he already took money off we then showed him the Bill's and explained that nothing had been taken off. We stayed very calm up until this point. Bishin then started to raise his voice, cut us off and put his hand in my face. This was the last straw. We have all worked in the service industry myself being a manager and the birthday girl being a general manger. In no way is yelling at the customer ok especially when we were not raising our voices or fighting anything. We were just trying to explain to him what had happened but he did not want to hear it. We were then told that it was not even possible to take 40$ off Bill's unless we all paid together. At this point he let us finally explain what we were trying to say about the vouchers. He stated he just wants us to leave happy. I was honest and told him that no matter what we would not be leaving happy at this point. He left to go and fix the Bill's and when he came back he said that 20$ was taken off each bill (something he originally said was not possible unless we all paid together instead of 3 bills) we never expected money off or anything this was something offered as we had such a bad experience. I will not ever be returning to this location after the way the manger treated us. read more

The hosts are sadly incompetent. We were told that there would be a 20 minute wait for a table of 5. Well, 45 minutes later we started asking what was going on. We saw groups and groups of 2 and 4 coming after us and being seated before us. We were curious if the staff knew that two tables could be pushed together...apparently not. Also, there were a lot of tables not being bussed. It was a very frustrating experience. If they had told us right away that we would be waiting at least an hour then we could have decided whether to wait or leave, and we could have prepared our kids. So....I really hope the food is worth waiting an hour and 20 minutes for a table read more

Went there for breakfast for both of our first times. It wasn't too busy. I had the eggs Benedict with the dill shrimp and my wife had the original eggs Benedict. I never eat Benny's, but their menu wasn't too big. I really liked it though and their smashed hash browns were the best I had ever had. I think their coffee was really good too. The food is always consistent, and you can not go wrong with the lendary burger platter, zucchini sticks, and there curry dish but it may have been seasonal. The servers are always very polite.
