    Half eaten salmon zen bowl

This is my first time here, I ordered the salmon zen bowl. The food was extravagant, the salmon was perfectly seasoned and was so flavourful. Also even in spite of Covid, the hosts and waitresses were so kind and helpful.

Had dinner here after 6 hours hike at Manning Park and we were seated after 15 minutes. The restaurant was very busy, staff are friendly and accommodating. The food tastes very good and the serving size is bigger from what I expected. Price is okay. The debit machine doesn't work chip, tap works.

Nice corner spot, perched on a semi-independent right off the highway. Dropped in after the tulip festival, been here, done that. One of the better layouts, nice washrooms with sofa chair. Patio on left, with a solarium-like room, huge. Usual good food and gorgeous surface. Usual tuna tataki but with extra mango pieces, sweet.

Earls is a chain restaurant that I have visited in the Toronto area and was expecting average service and food. This Earls in the small town of Chilliwack sets a higher standard that other locations can learn from. Our server was attentive and provided excellent recommendations. The price point is fair with large portions. The Sicilian pizza was the star of the meal. It was spicy and delicious. I would come back just for this. The Jeera chicken was also tasty and flavorful. Overall, wonderful service, good food, with a slight upscale ambiance made it a great experience.

    Santa Fe Wrap with salad

Decent service, reasonably priced food - I was there just before the after work crowd, so it was quick to get seats. The Santa Fe Wrap was awesome!!! Very tasty and loved the amount of veggies in there too. I got a salad as a side, watch I found over dressed - with less dressing it would have been amazing! Meets the Earl's standard for when I go to any Earl's.

There's a lot of average chain food in this part of town. At Earls you can expect slightly better than average food, with better service that most other restaurants and an upbeat atmosphere. While many head west to the Cactus Club and Moxies for the beautiful women, I'm guessing most come here for the food and ambiance. It's a great place to watch games and enjoy a meal, but be prepared, most of the items on the menu cost more than you'd expect. As long as you don't mind paying a premium, you'll enjoy this place, but don't plan on coming for value. Personally, I ordered the Cajun chicken and had nothing to complain about. It was well seasoned, a large piece of quality, boneless chicken and came with two great sides: a wonderful side salad (that wasn't cheap iceberg lettuce) and pasta with tomato sauce. Enjoyed every bite. One of my buddies ordered the bacon burger, which is more than enough food for even the largest person. From what we saw brought to other tables (and experienced at other locations) there's nothing on the menu that isn't fair to food.

I would give earls zero stars if it was an option. I paid $8 for a soup and the small container wasn't even close to full. Every time I go there it is a complete disappointment and waste of time and money. I will never go back. And why would I when I can get way better food, service, and portions from literally every other restaurant on the same road.

    Dynamite roll!

Another Chilliwack restaurant that presumes to add a tip to your bill then adds GST to the total.

The entrance is delightfully well-done, and our faces lit up when we walked into the bar - intricately detailed and authentic enough that a '20s dress code could be reasonably enforced. We were seated immediately, and the cadence of service was immaculate: our appetizer came out just after our drinks, and the entrees appeared as we were taking the last bites of the appetizer. But I wasn't thrilled with my selections. The Rum Punch was served at room temperature and the jalapeño popper chicken sandwich was drier than the description suggested. My partner got the Jalisco Fizz, which she says paired well with the mushroom pasta, and really enjoyed the salmon deviled eggs. At $11-14, the drinks are priced well, but the food is overpriced. The jalapeño chicken sandwich was not a $23 sandwich, and a tempting lobster/shrimp roll was listed at $35. Overall Speakeasy Saloon is worth making an evening of. Dress up and sip on whiskey drinks in the low light with loved ones.

They seem to be very efficient, the moment you sit down. I don't know if that's a good thing or not but it was a little surprising. The food was good. I highly recommend the Maison burger. It is loaded with flavour, filling and has a good balance of flavours. (That onion jam really did it for me). I was so full that I didn't really eat the fries with the meal. (Also, the fries were a bit disappointing for how thin they were). I do really loved that they gave both fries and salad as a side for the burger though. That was highly appreciated on the menu. The croque Monsieur, however, was a bit worse off. It was still tasty and balanced with complex flavours (in the sandwich) but the exterior was blanketed by a thick white cream sauce that just didn't work. It tasted cheap and it ruined the crisp, buttery crunch of bread that a croque Monsieur should have. We'd come back to try some of the appetizers next time as those looked interesting.
