If you're looking for a bar with bar food and not very good drinks I have the place. Pretty plain vibe and bar look to it, nothing special. I can say we were all pretty disappointed in this place. The staff was the only positive that we took away from this experience. Both servers that we encountered were both kind and attentive. The drinks and food however totally missed the marks. We all started off with drinks 2 margaritas, a gin gimlet and a beer between the four of us. The margaritas were terrible, like I am not sure how they put them as a feature drink. They had zero jalapeños and also offered no spicy margarita whatsoever. My wife's gin gimlet tasted like straight up lime juice. All were complete misses. Next we moved on to the food where each couple ordered a dozen wings. The X's and O's( fries and onion rings) and we also ordered a wedge salad. The wedge salad came out and idk how it was marketed as wedge when it was a bowl of salad completely engulfed in dressing(closer to soup than salad). Next the fries and onion rings came out and I'm not usually a stickler for what things cost, but $17 for like 6 onion rings and a very sad plate of fries. We expected a bit more for what we ordered for the table. Lastly the wings. While the flavoring of the wings were good, they came out not too warm to the touch and biting into them they were cold on the inside. Concerned that we may get sick from uncooked meat they assured us that they were precooked and just dropped into the fryer to finish them off. To me it is concerning that though they were precooked and still missed on hearing them all way, you may need to have a chat with your kitchen. Both of the servers were on top of it and ran both dozens back to have our order recooked. Second time around they were hot and crispy with good flavor(although the garlic boom boom wings were missing one of the sauces the second time around). It didn't matter, we ate them and paid. Not sure we will put this on our revisit list. Maybe the burgers or flatbread were the way to go, but out of 3 menu items and even the drinks.... Incredibly disappointed in this place. We came in at 6ish on a Monday after a longggg shift at the hospital down the street. There was one server and two cooks with about 10 people including my wife and I. Ordered the pineapple margarita and was disappointed. Lacked flavor, and I really don't think there was even a full shot of tequila in there. Oh well, maybe they're not known for their cocktails - I looked past this and just ordered a Kona on the second drink. On to the food - I ordered the "sticky snout" which was a peanut butter, honey, and bacon burger. My wife ordered the mushroom Swiss burger, both with fries. Wow I have never had a drier and more burnt burger in my life! And at an almost $20 price point each! Both of us could only finish half of our burgers because they were so burnt. We also had originally ordered 2 ranches with our meal, which we never received despite asking our server about it three separate times. And we were still charged for them. I *rarely* leave a plate full of food but I couldn't even enjoy the fries because we never got our ranch, and the ketchup at our table was out. I totally understand that it's hard being a server - we still tipped 18% but man that was really some terrible service on top of the food already being bad. I was really hoping this could be a good spot, we always try to support small businesses and especially veteran owned ones. Unfortunately, they fell incredibly short in every category. Overall, we spent $72 on the margarita, two beers, and the two burgers. A $12 tip brings the total to $84, a very disappointing waste of my money. read more

Totally bummed about this one as the menu looked promising and we always love to support veterans. We went in on a concert night - which we know on event nights everywhere around here is busy, totally fine. Upon entering the sign said seat yourself which we did but there wasn't really any clear direction if we'd get served by the only two servers working or not. After about 15 minutes I waited in line at the bar and ordered from the main bartender, I'm guessing was an owner. We bracketed time for it being busy but I have never in my life waited so long for food before. It was an hour and twenty minutes from the time we ordered to finally getting our food. The customer forward thing to do would have been to say "hey we are running about this amount of time in the kitchen is that okay?" The kitchen area is very small and can't really fit any extra staff. It's understandable they get backed up, but some transparency would have been appreciated. Seems like the two servers and one busser could have used more help on these busy event days. The self serve water was empty, no glasses, people waiting a long time etc. When we finally did get our food, we quickly ate to not miss any more of the show. I got the French dip with fries and both were pretty small portions. My sister got one of the chicken sandwiches which was missing a few things. Prices are inflated. --------- My girlfriend and I stopped into Flying Pig for a bite and drink. Free Street parking can be found. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Indoors is clean. Large parties can be accommodated. Unlike the prior Flying Pig, the new Flying Pig is a tap-house rather than a brewery. Flying Pig is a 21+ establishment that offers a decent selection of craft beer and a full bar. Meatheads Smokehouse & Brewery beer is featured. Masks are required; vax cards are not. There are a few TVs mounted throughout the establishment. Food menu is small which is nice sometimes. Happy Hour is not offered. During our visit my girlfriend slurped on a few Meathead Red Lagers for $6.50 each while I slurped on a few Silver City IPAs for $6.50 each. My girlfriend ordered the Mango-Bango Pulled Pork Sandwich for $11.95. She enjoyed her meal choice. I ordered the Pig Pie Flatbread for $14.95: Canadian Bacon, Pepperoni, Sausage, Bacon, Red Sauce and Mozzarella. Yummy! Our server was friendly and efficient. Stopped in for dinner before a concert and was pleasantly surprised by the food. The menu is pretty big with creative names for all the items. We tried their poutine and mozzarella sticks, both very good. The fries held up well especially with all the pork and gravy. Tried a few drinks out too. All good. For mains we tried a burger and a flatbread. I havent been to Everett much but would definitely stop by again if I was in the area. Service was good, they were busy but food came out quickly. I didn't realize that this was a bar that serves food - I thought it was a restaurant with a bar. Because we were meeting at 5:30 pm, it was easy to find on-street parking. My friend and I both had the French dip sandwiches and they were delicious. It's a little noisy probably due to the fact there are brick walls (not much to absorb music or the sound of other conversations around you). Over the last few weeks we have come in every Sunday around 1 because my daughter has an art class nearby. Ambiance: cute little dive bar, nothing to write home about with the exception of the board game selection. Food: have only ever gotten the wings and fries, both are good. Wings surpass both Wing Stop and Buffalo Wild Wings. Service: Ben has been our bartender every visit and is top notch. He is the reason we keep coming back every Sunday. The Flying Pig is the best! Service is amazing, Christian and Crisco were so awesome! Had wonderful conversations with both of them and they always checked in with me and my friend to make sure everything was good! Drinks were delicious, I got a dirty Shirley and they made it with this yummy cherry puree instead of grenadine so it wasn't super sweet just like I like it! We got a customized flatbread to share (chicken bacon ranch) and it was delicious! the vibes were upbeat and casual they played good music and had hockey games on. A perfect casual bar. The Bartender was friendly and attentive. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger, without the bun. When the food came I was pleasantly surprised with how nice it was plated. In the first bite I was in heaven. The hamburger was salted and seasoned well. The fries had a perfect crunch. The atmosphere is cozy and rustic. Feels like a great local hangout. We had dinner here before a Silvertips game and the food and drinks were fantastic! I tried the Mabgo Bango pulled pork sandwich which was sweet and savory. The onion rings were perfect, thin sliced and lightly breaded and so good! The burgers and flatbread were also very good. Their house Cosmo and Pain Killer drinks were also excellent. The service was great, and they have fout tvs over the bar so we could watch the Apple Cup game and the Mariners game while we were eating. As for the food, it looks appetizing, but when I had the fries with bacon and cheese, it was unremarkable. They don't double fry the fries when they're putting cheese on it so the cheese makes the fries soggy. That was my Loan experience, and therefore I do plan on going back and giving them another chance. They do have other food items that look very appetizing. The staff are, wonderful. The ambience is OK in that. It's a small establishment. They do have a back room for larger parties. The prices are reasonable. I will definitely go back because just having fries is not enough to keep me away, and since it was the only time I had eaten there and had a limited menu item, it would be unfair to rent them any lower than I have. We love the flying pig, poutine is fantastic as is the ruebens, and the service is actually pretty good for Everett. Oh, and I can't forget the Wings! Fantastic flaver and cooked perfect. However, last time we were in we received really short pours on the tap beer. I get that servers are in a rush, but when your "pint" glass of 12 to 14 oz is is 2" short of the top of the glass, you are getting less than 10 oz of beer. Also, they don't have shoestring fries anymore which is still referenced in the menu. Again, food was great and we will be back but won't be ordering any drafts. read more

I ordered the Mango Bango sandwich. Boy howdy, it was 'licios. Pulled pork with a delectable mango salsa-type thing. The bread was so perfect (I'm all about the breads) and squishy. Was a Thursday night, so not incredibly busy. Three of us picked this as a before theatre eating spot The service was good. She offered a different table when we were right below the vent. She was attentive but not intrusive. We had a salad that was fresh, with apples. It was a hit. We also had pig pie flatbread, which was smothered with toppings and quite delicious. It was busy but it took over an hour to get our food . We ordered one pig pie and two side salads with ranch . Pizza came out first and was not the one we ordered but we were hungry so just ate it any way . It was the steak and mushroom . The steak tasted so bad almost like it was freezer burnt . Salads came out and they were good. My daughter told the guy that we received the wrong pizza and it was not good so he did take it off our bill.
