Beer was ice cold, great selection of alcohol, and beer on tap. Menu was really unique, but I wasn't feeling crazy enough to try the Nutella burger that night. The mushroom and Swiss was everything I expected (perfect). Friends ordered the Italian sandwich and the mango bango and had nothing but great things to say about their food. Wait staff was good for it being a busy night. Awesome spot for food.

Totally bummed about this one as the menu looked promising and we always love to support veterans. We went in on a concert night - which we know on event nights everywhere around here is busy, totally fine. Upon entering the sign said seat yourself which we did but there wasn't really any clear direction if we'd get served by the only two servers working or not. After about 15 minutes I waited in line at the bar and ordered from the main bartender, I'm guessing was an owner. We bracketed time for it being busy but I have never in my life waited so long for food before. It was an hour and twenty minutes from the time we ordered to finally getting our food. The customer forward thing to do would have been to say "hey we are running about this amount of time in the kitchen is that okay?" The kitchen area is very small and can't really fit any extra staff. It's understandable they get backed up, but some transparency would have been appreciated. Seems like the two servers and one busser could have used more help on these busy event days. The self serve water was empty, no glasses, people waiting a long time etc. When we finally did get our food, we quickly ate to not miss any more of the show. I got the French dip with fries and both were pretty small portions. My sister got one of the chicken sandwiches which was missing a few things. Certainly not worth $20 each, could have made it at home. I'm sure non event days are probably a better experience but this was a miss.

Tip: Happy Hour is offered daily from 3pm-6pm. A 20% gratuity is added to parties of 8+. Beer is served in bottles or cans. Draft beer was an option before. Prices are inflated. --------- My girlfriend and I stopped into Flying Pig for a bite and drink. Free Street parking can be found. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Indoors is clean. Large parties can be accommodated. Unlike the prior Flying Pig, the new Flying Pig is a tap-house rather than a brewery. Flying Pig is a 21+ establishment that offers a decent selection of craft beer and a full bar. Meatheads Smokehouse & Brewery beer is featured. Masks are required; vax cards are not. There are a few TVs mounted throughout the establishment. Food menu is small which is nice sometimes. Happy Hour is not offered. During our visit my girlfriend slurped on a few Meathead Red Lagers for $6.50 each while I slurped on a few Silver City IPAs for $6.50 each. My girlfriend ordered the Mango-Bango Pulled Pork Sandwich for $11.95. She enjoyed her meal choice. I ordered the Pig Pie Flatbread for $14.95: Canadian Bacon, Pepperoni, Sausage, Bacon, Red Sauce and Mozzarella. Yummy! Our server was friendly and efficient. We both decided that Flying Pig will be added to our monthly meet-up locations going forward.

Stopped in for dinner before a concert and was pleasantly surprised by the food. The menu is pretty big with creative names for all the items. We tried their poutine and mozzarella sticks, both very good. The fries held up well especially with all the pork and gravy. Tried a few drinks out too. All good. For mains we tried a burger and a flatbread. I havent been to Everett much but would definitely stop by again if I was in the area. Service was good, they were busy but food came out quickly. Ambiance was was cool, not too bright not too moody.

I didn't realize that this was a bar that serves food - I thought it was a restaurant with a bar. Because we were meeting at 5:30 pm, it was easy to find on-street parking. My friend and I both had the French dip sandwiches and they were delicious. It's a little noisy probably due to the fact there are brick walls (not much to absorb music or the sound of other conversations around you). The server came over as soon as I sat down and asked if I wanted a drink. I decided to wait for my friend to arrive; our order was taken promptly and served promptly.

A perfect casual bar. The Bartender was friendly and attentive. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger, without the bun. When the food came I was pleasantly surprised with how nice it was plated. In the first bite I was in heaven. The hamburger was salted and seasoned well. The fries had a perfect crunch. The atmosphere is cozy and rustic. Feels like a great local hangout. I'll be going back for sure.

Are under 21 allowed?

No - I visited for the first time last evening and there are two signs hung in the window. That's a 21 and over only.

Steve and I both had their Mosaic IPA. This is I believe one that we haven't tried from the first time and it was indeed a good IPA. With it's aromatic feature and it's hoppy flavor along with a fruity and brightly clean finish this IPA came off as a highly enjoyable one. Everett has two Scuttlebutt locations. The review I'm leaving is for their taproom but they also have a restaurant along with their beer at a separate location.

You should make a reservation when you come on the weekend. Everyone ordered a beer each except me. I asked for hot water and they brought me lots of fresh lemon slices w hot water. I was very happy with that. We ordered Ribeye stake w scuttlespuds, Lemon baked cod w wild rice, Blue moon burger w onion rings, Dockside cheese burger w sweet potato fries, Cobb salad and 1 fish fried w house salad. All the dishes were served at the same time and looked delicious and smells good. My lemon baked cod was a little light taste and wild rice was too soggy. The hamburger looked delicious, so I want to try it next time. It's a great place to get together and have a meal with great service and atmosphere.

The young lady working there was very friendly, polite and had a smile. Sat outside it was nice. It's dog friendly which I like. Visiting family on the island thought I would try the Thirsty Crab Brewery. I will be recommending this place. Definitely will be going back before I head home. Every time I visit family here on Whidbey Island I will be going there for beer. I was able to visit before heading home. I would recommend Thirsty Crab Brewery to anyone that likes beer.

Well I will say right off the bat if you are trying to get here by GPS it is extremely misleading…read more You can see the business from the main road but you can't turn into the parking lot there. You need to go straight through an intersection just before the brewery, turn on a dirt road and then it will take you to the parking lot. Hopefully directions have been fixed since then by somebody but if not be patient in getting there. My phones were exhausted and running on empty so alas no pictures were taken here unfortunately. We still needed some GPS navigation to get in a homebound direction. There were a lot of good looking beer options here so what we did was get a taster flight which was a wise choice. Some of the beers we had that made up that was a Key Lime Lager which was great. It tasted similar to the dessert and was easily my favorite. Alpenglow was another, also a lager that was pleasant and refreshing. We continued with the unique brews of a Nettle beer, a mango lager and the May Bee Lager. We also got an order of some of their brats from the food truck here. Those weren't too bad, perhaps not the most authentic I have ever came across but enjoyable nonetheless and pairs well with the beers that they have available here. Fun brewery to go to and one that should be stopped at if you are visiting the breweries, cideries, meaderies or wineries on Whidby Island.
