I have been here several times recently and every time the service has been horrible. The waitresses act like they never worked there before or they just don't give a damn. They don't understand about rounding, they don't understand about picking things up when you're at the table, they don't understand basic waiting techniques. Oh, and the Silverware needs to be on the table along with napkins BEFORE the food arrives. And they just really put out the attitude like they don't give a fuck. Came here with my friend - bartender (blonde) stuffed her face for 5 min before coming to ask what we would like to drink. I got the French dip with au jus and she got the burger dip with bbq sauce. Food was good. Brunette never asked us how we were doing and I had to go to the bar and ask for to go boxes. I asked for a container for my au ju and gf asked for au ju and when the bill came they CHARGED $1.50 for au jus that already CAME with the meal! I asked the server she just SHRUGGED and said that's policy. I cld see .50 but $1.50? I didnt tip normal +20% so I got my $1.50 back. If u charge me erroneously for stupid stuff its coming out your tip. Will never be back again mainly.die to the crappy service. read more

Stopped by on Saturday, August 2nd around 2 pm (not busy at all) and It took quite a while to get anyone's attention, but eventually someone came by to take our drink order. After that, it went downhill. We waited a long time to place a food order, but the bartender never came back--even though she took orders from several people who arrived well after us. We tried to be patient, but after being skipped multiple times, we decided to just stick to one drink and leave. She hardly ever left behind the bar. Her co worker was clearing the tables and doing all the running for food, drinks etc. while she stood behind the bar on her PHONE. (I wish I got her name, the nice lady who was doing everything was named candy. She was fantastic unlike her coworker) When we went to close out, she tried to charge us for food we never ordered. When we pointed it out, there was no apology--just an awkward moment and then some strange commentary about her "knee hurting" as she started limping dramatically behind the bar. I came here for a beer the other day while my car was Getting an oil change. I been here once before a few years ago and realize why I haven't been back. I had the same experience. The service is horrible. I sat at the bar for 5 minutes before the bartender even acknowledged me. It wasn't that busy she looked at me a few times even when I walked in she took her time to clean off a table before she asked me what did I want. I almost walked out kind of wish I did. Got my beer. I asked for a food menu also if they had happy hour. Instead of giving me a menu she just pointed out the sign for the happy hour food. And said "it's right there" 10 minutes later she asked if I wanted any food, I actually was going to get something if it didn't take so long. Again there were people in the bar but she wasn't that busy to ignore me. I feel this place is just for regulars or people of non-color if you know what I mean I'm sure you do. Ok we needed to find a place to go without kids to have 1 to 2 hours with my husband :) When we went the first time the people working there were nice and very friendly Also the drinks are good and pour friendly So we keep going back :) I'd say it's me and my husband getaway spot lol We went on a Friday early evening with a friend of mine and had a great time We got a half nachos and the three of us COULD not finish it It's huge and yummy and has everything a nacho should have So o really recommend it here !!!!! read more

I've gone to this place a number of times to get drinks after work. In fact, I've taken my employees there to get drinks after work. I finally finished training my dog . Despite the laws and ADA protections, I was told I could not have a dog. I let the bartender lady know that my dog was a service dog. She said it didn't matter. I asked her who her supervisor was. She said it didn't matter. I asked her who the owner was, and she refused to provide me any information. She told me I had to leave and that she was refusing to serve me. read more

Went for music on a Friday night and the place was busy. We had the chicken Parmesan wrap which was good and large enough to split for two. Service was good although it was hard to tell who your server was as it appears they all help out, which is a plus when super busy like they were. The sound quality here is excellent! Went for the prime rib...totally disappointed! The meat was tough , flavorless and dry when speaking to the waitress got lip and to accommodate them took a steak instead. We went to dinner and my boyfriend's friend was raving about this place. The inside is much bigger than it looks from the outside and is very nice. We had some iffy service for the first half an hour we were there and I only think that's because our server was leaving for the night but once we were able to get another one everything went smooth. We ordered a full order of nachos and it was gigantic. It came with salsa, sour cream, guacamole, and jalapenos on the side and was more than enough to feed 3 people if not four. The boys had beer while I just had a coca-cola. I ordered the French dip with onions and mushrooms and my boyfriend ordered the Philly cheesesteak. The sandwiches were good and massive. He got the fries and I got a salad with balsamic dressing which was really good. After the nachos I could only eat a couple bites and was stuffed. They had a band playing and they were really good. Came in to watch the Seahawks game. I have waited over 40 minutes just to get a menu. Finally asked and the waitress was extremely rude. Total attitude. Not sure what the issue was but I asked politely. Same waitress ignored others. Maybe short staffed but extremely rude. Same waitress that gave attitude when guys wanted to listen to audio on the USA World Cup game a week ago. Her answer was " ya , it's possible" and walked off. Strong drinks, HUGE portion sizes and pretty friendly service. Their parking lot leaves a lot to be desired, especially when it's busy and there's no street parking. They often have live music which is great! And the bathrooms were just remodeled thank goodness. Will be back! read more

I tried the steak quesadilla there and the first time it was amazing. Then the second time the meat had almost no flavor. The third time it was flavor city but they charged you for take out while others eating there who got a to-go box halfway through we're not charged. This time the steak quesadilla tasted like old swiss cheese which shouldn't even be on it. The steak has no flavor at all, I was not even asked how I liked it done and yes I was charged for ordering to go because I am on my lunch break. I can't even eat any more as the cheese tastes like it was left out overnight. I tried picking out the steak but it has a funky flavor, maybe the cheese or maybe it's bad too. The quality here is very inconsistent and charging for a take out box.... Well they are the only place around that is charging for a take out box. read more

I've had the occasion to eat here several times in the past few weeks and I am really impressed with the quality of their food and the service provided by their staff, including those in the kitchen. The last breakfast item I had was the Biscuits and Gravy that included 3 eggs, potatoes and a side of bacon. Delicious and so much food for the price! The biscuits are huge and fluffy and the sausage gravy is so good. I like their bacon because I don't worry about chipping a tooth when consuming it. The leftovers heat up really nicely especially if you get the O'Brien potatoes. And the Bloody Mary's are really great too! I've also had the occasion to have lunch here and ordered the Chef Salad with blue cheese dressing. An impressive amount of food for the price and with really quality ingredients. Everything you need in a neighborhood bar. We moved to the area a year ago, and this is a spot we occasionally hit for lunch or drinks. The food isn't fancy, but it's been consistently good. The servers are very attentive, and you can tell there is a core base of regulars. It's always clean, and it's never dead. We drive by and notice cars in the parking lot, even on a Wednesday morning. We shared the very large "half-size" of nachos ($10+ I think) on a midday Saturday. We got them with traditional taco meat (beef) and inhaled basically an entire bag of tortillas drizzled with cheddar and beef and olives and served with 4-ounce cups of guac, sour cream, canned jalapenos, and salsa. (Okay, we didn't actually finish because my coeater ate like an hour prior, so maybe *I* inhaled a lot and took the rest home in a Tupperware I had in my purse... And inhaled them not too long thereafter.) I don't know if I've ever had bad nachos, and these were no exception -- and the sides were all good. Solid 4-stars (one star off because they seemed a bit oversalted, but I don't salt anything and therefore am a little sensitive). Even better was the service. Attentive and taking full COVID precautions -- masks, distancing, sanitizing, etc. Friendly and willing to have chats (think bartender-style). Bottom line: I don't know anything about the rest of the food, but the nachos were good and service was great, so this was a solid experience and a venue worth a return. read more

The attitude was ridiculously awful, I can't stand not seeing a smile or any sort of facial expression. Both ladies had this sour expression like they didn't want to be there. The servers are not friendly. I feel like I'm putting them out by being there and asking for food/drinks. I live a few minutes away so have been a patron for over a decade because it's convenient. For several years there has rarely been a very friendly server (usually very young women) but it seems they get worse and worse attitudes every time, which is less and less. Today when my food was brought to the table I said thank you and she literally was looking away. I felt invisible. It was the first time I had tried to converse with that particular server so there was no reason to dislike me. 30 seconds later she brought some napkins and cutlery and still no eye contact or acknowledgment that a person (me) was sitting there. So then we got 2 one crispy and one grilled. And when silverware came the knifes where dirty as nasty can be. I am not sure what happened but under their new security things got a little scary for me at the Madison. One of the barstaff was kind of scaring me with erratic behavior. Just real shaky and jittery. She looked at me others real strangely put of the corner of her eye and murmur things. I got weirded out and complimented her sweater and the next thing I know I am being escorted out. Needless to say, this might not be the best place to have a business meeting or to take a respectable lady friend to. The place is a little shady now for some reason.
