First we're seated at these white "kids" tables which were very uncomfortable. It then took 15 minutes to even get some drinks ordered. When I ordered a draft beer I did not expect it to be a bottled/canned beer poured in a glass. Food took even longer to order. Service is the golden standard, they're so kind and personable I truly enjoyed my experience. The food was great, they have a wood burning stove. My wife and I stopped into Eight Ball for a couple beers and dinner. Free parking can be found on the street. Discover is an accepted form of payment. A small outdoor seating area is offered. Indoors one will find a full bar, mounted TVs and a bakery/deli case in the back. Happy Hour is offered on food Monday-Friday from 3pm-6pm. Eight Ball is trendy so the prices vs. quality shouldn't come as a surprise. Be sure to review your receipt before cashing out. We were over-charged for our beers - prices charged of $6.50 didn't match prices listed of $5.99. My wife and I each had a couple Irish Deaths for $6.49 and Silver City Tropic Haze IPA's for $5.99 (over-charged on this beer). My wife ordered the Chicken Strips (qty 3) & Fries for $8 (hh): the chicken strips were the frozen variety. The house cut fries were soggy, greasy and tasteless. Disappointing meal choice here. My wife and I also shared the Potato Pizza (10") for $12.99 + $1.49 up-charge for Pesto Sauce + $1.99 up-charge for bacon. Total cost was $16.47. The pizza had plenty of thinly sliced potatoes, zero sun-dried tomatoes as stated, maybe the roasted garlic was in the olive oil since I didn't see any garlic bulbs, plenty of Pesto Sauce and barely visible bacon (maybe three crumbles). A note to the owner: The Vintage Cafe is slipping, my neighbor is finally fed up with the long waits to be seated with a half-empty cafe, rude wait staff, and mediocre food. In a crowded bar he singled out my friend and accused her of smoking in the bathroom so he kicked her out after paying for drink's saying he could do so because it's a private business. So she didn't smell like smoke or have any thing to smoke on her and he could of searched her purse but he has the nerve to act like this. Our server was very helpful with suggestions since we had not been there before. We spent about 2 hours there & didn't feel rushed at all. We ordered 1 appetizer, 3 pizzas & 2 sandwiches. This was all to share between 3 adults. We had the pizza crust app with about 10 sauces to choose from - 4 come with the order. 3 pizzas were the potato, chicken gorgonzola & meat ball. 2 sandwiches were the roasted chicken & roast beef. This place is a Scratch and the eight ball is the color of the Burnt pizza we received as our dinner. I wished I taken a picture of this but I will explain that the bottom of pizza was just not a little ,not in one spot, but completely the color of black oil on the bottom and edges of this 10" Hawaiian pizza that may had 3 very small pieces of pineapple and 3 table spoons of cheese. The price is about 14-16$ for basically personal pizza. My brother-in-law attempt to complained to our sever as he looked and my golden brown pizza and told him that this is normal and we use an oven fired to cook the pizza. I also said out loud that is burnt as Brother said to me this taste like a burnt piece of $hit as the server now learned owner Rachid Ayouni heard that comment after he was walking off about 4 ft past our table and came back and told Brother to not talk profanity as this comment was among us. He then took that Burnt piece of $hit pizza and said rudely that he will make another and 15 mins later a under cooked pizza came out that was white bottom and warm at most not cooked. He like did this purposely to get his attitude as a signature and the only voice that matters in this place. This was the worst customer service and by the owner of this place. His name we joked should be wretched annoyance as the owner is Rechid Ayouni. This guy walks around this place as he is the only restaurant on 2727 Colby Everett and news flash to him he is not and he is one of those restaurants that you simply say NO-MORE-NEXT-TIME. Go anywhere but this place unless you want to start a bar fight over a completely burnt pizza as the owner says eat it and shut up. Roasted chicken sandwich and meatball sub are my faves, but can't speak to the rest because of the menu because I keep ording the same things every time. ‍ The vibe is sometimes lively, but not too lively. I could smell great food outside - and it was! Affordable food, great service, super clean restaurant. This is a great addition to downtown everett. There are a lot of choices. Including some Greek options which I love. On my 1st go I went with pizza. Reason being is that they have a spectacular pizza oven that caught my eye. The pizza was incredible. I could tell the ingredients were very fresh. The pricing for the pizza in comprable to MOD - maybe a little less actually. Menu is SUITABLE FOR QUICK LUNCH or long night dinner. The atmosphere: This is a spot for every occasion. I had a more secluded space while I worked business during lunch. I could see myself hanging out with friends in the front near the bar. I could also picture this place as a good spot for dinner with my wife. Thought was put into the layout (especially when you know of what was here before). I will be calling in reservations for UFC 230. The Owner!: I was pleasantly surprised to be approached by the owner. He asked if I was happy with my food and service. I had no complaints - explained that I was impressed. We had some small talk. Friendly staff, good food! I tried the pizza crust appetizer, tomato soup, and roasted chicken sandwich. Both sour cream dips that came with the appetizer were amazing, and tasted fantastic paired with the appetizer. The tomato soup was also scrumptious, and came with a yummy little piece of toast. The sandwich was good, could have used a bit more flavor. (I am a mayonnaise fiend, so I asked for a side of mayo, which did improve it.)
