Stopped by here for the first time ever and had an amazing experience. I think the bartender/waiters name was Jamie who helped me, but he was so friendly and nice! I love trying new places with awesome service! I also loved my food. I got the grilled cheese with tomato and worried about liking it or not but once I got it, it was SOOO yummy. The ambiance is very chill, the night I came they were playing lots of awesome 80's music. This place takes their 21 and over policy seriously. Like so seriously that I was turned away despite being a decade older than the legal drinking age. After running home to grab my ID, we kicked off the night with a round of tequila shots. I'm at that stage in life where I can no longer drink without food, so I paired this with a grilled cheese and tomato soup. Everything was superb. This local gem gives dive bar meets upscale diner. It's dark and moody, but also serves up some pretty tasty bites. I loved my grilled cheese and felt like it was the perfect meal to fit the rainy Washington vibes. They also have skee ball onsite, which is always a green flag. Great for large groups, but they truly only serve those 21 and over. read more

In long This place took over the spot after a beloved old joint closed up shop due to happy retirement. It was an instant hit, packed all the time--not to say that Muk protects its institutions too fiercely, but that's kinda rare to blow up right away after replacing a popular joint. Good on 'em! They really do show tons of individual personality while still hitting all the regular marks for a great hangout. Pool, darts, I think pulltabs, pop-a-shot, tons of flat screens tuned to the ballgame. Full kitchen, full bar. Beer and wine are kinda the basics, and they're not trying to knock you out with weird custom cocktails, either--but everything's good, including the prices. Muk never had a spot like this before. Low key, come as you are, welcome sports fans, bend an elbow and hang out? Nope. There are just a couple clusters of businesses, so there haven't been many entrepreneurs stepping in. National chains, maybe a wine bar here and there. More good spots have opened the last few years, but this is the first casual hang like this. They clearly filled a gaping niche! 20 years ago it seemed like there was barely anything other than the brewery and a little seafood. We've driven by here dozens of times, and the parking lots always looked completely full. We've circled through the parking lot half a dozen times and, yeah, every spot really was taken. Yesterday it was oddly only half-full, so we finally got to check it out. They cleaned the place up a fair bit: new paint, new flooring, turned it from a Greek place into a sports bar/tav vibe. Nothing overdone, very low-key. They greet you right away and ya seats yerself. There are half a dozen booths and a couple dozen barstools along the bar and a couple highboy tables. No tables. We had menus right away and the kid couldn't have been nicer. For as slammed as they always are, he was super relaxed and easy-going. No rush to chatting with him at all, though he hustled every bit of food and drink and all that. We got a couple cocktails and a couple plates. All showed up right away. Manhattan They have a maple manhattan on the menu here, but this drink at most places doesn't need any more sugar. This was easy to enjoy. R&R Sweet and creamy drink that was a big hit across the table. Kinda like a milkshake on the rocks for me, but I am not really the target audience here. Nachos Very little spice, no cumin or anything to make you think you're eating Mexican food. Kind of wonton chips, white cheese sauce, some veg and such. Not bad but I could go 500% higher on the flavor profile, at least. Still, this is gonna be a hit with most folks who order it. If you're watching the game it's an easy snack to keep nibbling on. I might almost go for the sauce on the side as a dip; these are pretty messy nachos, especially if you're not zeroing in on the dry corner of each chip with your fingertips. Prime rib dip Solid sandwich, good flavor to the meat and onions. The jus is not too different at most places--comfortingly familiar for sure. Bread is toasted to the point of crunchiness, which is a nice change of pace. Crinkle-cut fries cooked thoroughly enough to be fluffy inside. Perfect! For 2 plates and drinks, it was under $60 before tip. Very fair prices. I would happily come back anytime, though it's not a spot I would rideshare to, and they rarely have parking. They always pack it out in here, and it's easy to see why. I hope I end up here again a few times. They really take care to do everything as well as they can and still keeping prices fair. read more

We've been here before, but wanted to try the breakfast and watch college football. And it was actually really good. My husband and I both god the omelet. I loaded mine with veggies and some bacon (and it was real bacon, not the fake bacon bits that some places use) and my husband got mushroom and bacon. Perfect size portion, not massive but plenty filling. Potatoes were great too. I usually like my omelets with an English muffin, they didn't have it, but that's ok... everything else was great. We will defiantly come back My only knock, if I had one, is that Mandi was by herself running the bar and entire sitting room. She did a great job just felt bad for her as the place was half full and she was on her own. read more

LOVED the drinks! Highly recommend the Peach Mule and their boozy slushies -- they have Pina Colada and another flavor. I got the Reuben sandwich -- I think my favorite part was definitely the corn beef. The rest were okay, fries were too crisp and a small serving. My partner got the turkey blt with a Caesar salad. They have such a CUTE women's restroom with cute mirror quotes and colorful picture frames and photos. They have 2 billiard tables so you can shoot/play pool. The basketball hoop and dart board are in the front when you first walk in. The basketball game was not bad, quite fun! The only bartender/server was helping all the customers today this evening:/ was wondering if he had any help -- he was pretty pro today but could tell he needed some assistance at least. What a nice addition to Mukilteo! This bar is clean, cozy, serving up great food and excellent drinks! This place can get busy, as the locals are loving the new hangout. It's nice to have a late night spot in this little town. Try the burger-they call it a smash burger but it's not some flimsy soggy sandwich-it's delicious!! Mukilteo needed this spark of fun for adults. This is a cute dive bar with a pool table, a compact basketball hoop game, + darts all with tunes in the background playing. The bar has its own set playlist or you can pay for playing a tune on their digital jukebox. I have visited here a couple times + it's always good vibes + fun. Bar food is yummy. Service is personable. They do not have many vegetarian options ( I wish they had more options besides salad) Overall, I have always had a good experience. Parking is free. This is a nice, clean, friendly, dive-type bar. My husband and I came in on a Saturday evening and were immediately greeted by friendly bartenders. Sometimes, bars like this one exclusively cater to regulars and can be rude to newcomers, but not here. The service was excellent and friendly. We didn't wait for anything and both bartenders were happy to chat. We didn't expect to eat, but ended up splitting a pizza, which was cheesy and delicious. Bathrooms were spotless with cheeky decor. Great community bar! I love going there to practice my pool and the owners and staff are so friendly and welcoming.

So decided to stop in and play some pool and grab a beer. They have good selection of ciders, so I got a Schilling Hard Cider Moon Berries. Tried the fried curds and prime rib, they were phenomenal! The fried curd came with sriracha aioli and was delicious. The prime rib was tender, juicy, and reasonably priced. They had tins of tvs with the current games on. The bar tender was welcoming and attentive of us. Overall it was an amazing first visit to this newly renovated, newly reopened restaurant/bar. read more

Decided to pop into this place as we've passed it several times since it's been open. With no expectations we went inside and found the place clean and cute bartender was really friendly and super attentive and was quick to get us both drinks so far so good then it happened. Someone ordered the chicken cob and couldn't believe that this place was called a tavern. The salad look like it could've comefrom a high-end restaurant so I started looking at other food that was coming from the kitchen in my disbelief. Everything looked like it was made by Bobby Flay. Have been meaning to write this review for awhile an as the holidays approach it seems a great time to do so, finally. I went in early evening for just a drink and was absolutely taken by the service that I ended up staying for a full meal. Cocktails were great and adequately priced and the food was fine fair indeed but it was my cocktail server Lilly that really made the experience memorable and worthy of a second visit. A great start for this new watering hole in Mukilteo! Happened in on opening day and have been back for a Seahawks game. TV's are well set up to watch multiple games; as you would expect from a sports bar, but sadly isnt always the case. Cocktails were solid; well poured and taste was as they should-good pour. Beer was cold from the tap into a chilled glass. So far have just had the pizza, cheese curds, and ceasar salad but have seen the other food and it all looks tasty. Bonus that thy have pool tables (hard to find now days); heading there Saturday to try them out with neighbors. Clean and modern atmosphere flows well; even when packed full of people. The decore they chose for the mens room is hillarious! Service was good the first night and great the second time for the Hawks game; I didnt get her name, but she had the whole front of house herself and provided table service to everyone. She was a rockstar; no having to order at the bar. The kitchen delivered the food derectly, which was smart teamwork to help make sure everyone got the best service. I look forward to watching this place continue to provide great service and what additions they come up with for the menu. For now, I have more eats to try before they do. read more

My friend and I ate here and no complaint on the food but it was the server. Her name was Lily. I've never met her in my life and I must say she was so rude, not only to our table but we witnessed her treat another young couple horribly! Not sure if she had a bad day but when she approached us, she said, 'what do you want?', no pleasantries at all. She came back to take our order and we asked a few questions and she said, 'so you want to order?, I am really busy.' We were so taken back. What was worse was how she treated this young couple next to us. It was appaling. She was rude, almost angry at them, it was awful to watch. We left pretty quick and met the other couple outside. We said we were so sorry for how that woman treated you! The couple were shocked as well. They did not know her but I could see in the woman's eyes how she was hurt. I will say I have been VOCAL to other friends in Mukilteo and shared my experience. As a 65+ yr old woman and very "nordstrom" trained, how we were treated, she deserves to be fired. I will follow up with the owner to see if she has in fact been let go. It was a shameful experience and we will NEVER come back! I rarely leave a review especially a negative one. It's good that there is a place open late. I felt a little ignored by the bartender. The food was kind of a let down. My mother's burger was done on the edges but very pink in the middle. I ordered three burgers but was not asked how I wanted them done. I guess rare is how they serve their burgers. I ordered the turkey BLT. I wished it was just a regular BLT. I thought the turkey was going to be lunch meat. Instead, it was large slabs of reheated meat, which I do not care for. I picked it off and fed it to my dog. The bread used on my sandwich was very good. The fries made me super sad. They reminded me of Safeway frozen fries, from my oven. It's an okay place, especially if you live nearby. For me, I probably won't make the 15 minute drive again. Indigo, on 164th, is also open late. Their food is decent, and they have a larger selection and a very good happy hour. The ambiance is also nicer, in my opinion. This place is cramped, dark and loud. They're new. Hopefully it will improve. I wish them the best. read more
