The beer is great and the staff is friendly, but something seems off with the kitchen. A couple of years ago, six of my coworkers and I ate here. Another coworker and I ordered the crab roll and both ended up in the hospital with food poisoning the following day. At the time, I didn't want to leave a negative review because they had just recently opened. Since then I've given Tapped another shot. The prime rib dip I had on a later visit was phenomenal. However, on my most recent visit I ordered the chicken sandwich and it came out completely raw. Again, the beer and staff are great, but I felt I had to write a review at this point. Got their limited time special savory smash burger. It had grilled onions and sautéed mushrooms. It was FANTASTIC!!! This needs to be a regular menu item. There were so many delicious items on the menu it was very difficult to choose but I ended up with the loaded carnitas tots. Which were not loaded with carnitas but they did have a great flavor with the Beechers cheese sauce and lil peppers. My man got the pretzel burger which is not pictured but that thing was delicious! We did really enjoy the tater tots as they were crispy, nicely, fried, and flavorful especially with their delightful ranch. I am excited to try other items whenever I go back. The service consists of ordering at the bar and they bring your food to the table. Stopped by after touring the Boeing complex for a quick beverage and snacks. It was about 4pm on a Wednesday and there were plenty of seats at high tops, booths and seating outside. We ordered at the bar (food and drinks) and the food came out fairly quickly. There are a lot of beers on tap, and root beer too that I saw! Otherwise there are fridges with non-alcoholic options. To eat, we got a side salad (standard with a vinaigrette dressing) and loaded tots which had shredded pork on top and a sauce on it. The tater tots were really crispy and tasted delicious! read more

Not bad! My companion described the menu as pub food, and I think that's probably the best way of describing it. The pretzel burger was great, although it nearly did me in. The tots are crispy even when delivered, and whatever seasoning blend they use is tasty. We also got their roast cauliflower, which was absolutely enormous. Literally half a head of cauliflower. Delicious as well, fortunately! I will say that the fondue-style cheese, which is kind of their signature ingredient, didn't necessarily do it for me personally. Don't be afraid to swap it for something else if you prefer a cheese to a cheese sauce. Otherwise great stuff. Will likely eat again; will update if I do. read more

We love coming to Tapped for drinks and food! Beer tap menu is always great so my wife and I can find something we each like. If we can't find something, they have tons of beer cans/bottles available to purchase as well. I've had a couple things on the menu like the fried chicken sandwhich, French dip, and chicken strips. All of them were great but I keep going back to the fried chicken sandwich. We usually get either fries, sweet potato waffle fries, or tots. They're all great and they have different options to dip. The staff here is always great and attentive. Only thing I would recommend is remember your table number because that's how they find your open tab. They can search by name, but the number makes it easier for them. This location has tons of eating spaces for large groups and has outdoor tables as well. We came here with a group of 10 and didn't have trouble finding a table during lunch hour. read more

This place has such a cozy vibe to it. If you're into American comfort food, cool wine & beer selections, and genuine camaraderie among the staff then this is the place for you. I saw they served prime rib sandwiches, which I haven't had in a long time so decided to try that. Since I ordered to go I substituted the fries for a side of their seafood chowder. Everything smelled amazing when I opened up the containers. In terms of presentation, I was a little off put by the prime rib meat on the sandwich. Based on the pictures I've seen I was under the impression that the meat would be on the medium side. Mine looked like I was given leftover shavings, or meat that was overcooked. However, when I bit into the sandwich I was surprised to find that the meat was tender and overall had a good flavor, so no harm no foul there. The au jus on the side has a nice aroma to it. What's different about theirs is there are slivers of onion in the sauce & I could swear it has some form of a brandy or cooking wine that was added for depth, idk...I can't put my finger on it but it was also tasty. The chowder was just meh, definitely not the best I've had in Washington. It was also on the thicker side too, so if you like a looser soup this isn't for you. Overall not bad. I came to Tapped for my first time this month and was so impressed that I brought a group of friends with me the following week. The food menu is so long and everything I've tried has been so delicious. They also have probably over 100 beers to choose from between the fridge section and what's on tap. My favorite food item is for sure the sweet potato waffle fries w the little aioli sauce. I've also had 2 incredible salads - the harvest and the honey lime chicken. My only qualm about Tapped is that it does get pretty loud in there but they have sound boards on the ceilings, also the outdoor seating is loud too since it's right on the Speedway but there's nothing they can do about that. read more

Today I went to do a review on this wonderful restaurant. I wasn't disappointed at all. They had a wonderful variety of food and beverages. Wine beer Coca-Cola you name it.. I ordered the fish and the chips and it was absolutely wonderful. The fish was tender fresh and hot and their fries were tasty as well. I also ordered coconut shrimp for my appetizer and it was great as well. All of their employees seem happy and that they love their job. Our waitress was super sweet and she was doing a wonderful job and helping us. They had a great variety of food on their menu wonderful parking and their food did not cost that much. It didn't break my wallet. I would come to this place over and over again. I think it's absolutely wonderful and I believe that you're going to enjoy it as well. Fabulous! Came here for lunch with colleagues on a particularly cold day. I ordered the prime rib dip and I loved it. It was perfectly cooked, wonderfully shaved cuts of beef, and perfect amount of cheese. The au jus was also fabulous - savory and delicious. The ambiance is a cross between brewery and a cafe. It wasn't as expansive as many breweries I have been in or public houses but it was cozy. The booths were deep and could comfortably fit our party of four. Service is largely hands off which is the model here. We ordered at the counter and someone brought our food. I don't have as high expectations when it comes to counter service so it was fine. I totally recognizes a place can't control who comes in, but I wanted to share my experience to help others decide if they want to come here. For myself, I think of a taphouse as an adult, alcohol focused environment, that isn't really suitable for young children. Your opinion may differ. This was my second time here. I was surprised at the number of families with small kids seemingly under 5. It felt like a zoo with kids screaming at multiple tables, parents barely paying attention. It ruined the atmosphere and instead of stay for trivia like we planned on doing, we had to leave. Food was tasty at least. Good selection of alcohol. Server didn't give us napkins and I had to stand at the counter for about 5min until an employee acknowledged me. Then ironically had 4 different staff come by our table in a 10min period asking if we needed anything. The whole experience felt chaotic and uncomfortable. I hope this was a one off night and not the usual. If you expect an adult centered experience, that's not what I found here. If you are ok with lots of young kids being loud, then you probably won't mind it. read more

Atmosphere 4.9/5. Tapped Public House Mukilteo is THE perfect spot to grab a bite and drink with friends. It has great barstool and cozy couch seating and a very nice outdoor area. But when we ate outside in September, we had a couple bees hovering around our food. I saw that there are frequent community events and sports game viewings that happen here that I'm excited to attend. Food 4.5/5. Great bar food choices with lots of tempting unhealthy options and a few salads. My burger made me feel extra unhealthy because the bun was really buttered up, but I loved everything else. The Brussels Sprouts are amazinggg! My partner dies by the Soft Pretzel with Beecher's cheese dip. Service 5/5. Order up front and they bring the food to your table. My wife and I stopped into "Tapped" and found that the food and service was nothing like what we thought it would be. The Prime Rib dip with the French onion soup au jus was incredible!! My wife raved about her "Tapped Burger" that it was the best she had ever had. The selection of Beer on tap offered a wide variety of flavors that will satisfy most every pallet. Topping off our evening was when the friendly general manager Marisa came by our table to check in on us. So impressed!! "Tapped" will be a favorite restaurant that we will frequent going forward. The prices were in line with everywhere else and the menu options were awesome, we couldn't decide. My husband had the prime rib dip and I had the cubano. We loved them both. What a fun spot! We celebrated my friend's birthday here on Wednesday trivia night and had a good time. The only downside was the very long line upon entry. This is a walk up and order type restaurant and then you get a number to place on your table. The food was very good and there was a wide variety of beverages for the adult crowd as well as kids who were present in the restaurant. Parking was challenging when I arrived just after 6pm, but they have spots all around their building. It took about 20 min to get through the entry line before I could sit down with my friend. They got part of my order wrong but were able to fix it with a handheld checkout machine at our table. The service at the table was great and trivia offered two rounds, one at 7pm, and one at 8pm. Groups started leaving around 8pm and then the space was less crowded. I enjoyed the coconut shrimp and seafood chowder that were both very flavorful and hearty. read more

I've only visited once since we don't live in Mukilteo, but I really enjoyed my experience. The patio is open during the summer and is dog-friendly, so we were able to bring our dog along while meeting friends for lunch, which was a nice touch. The food was very good, and I thought it was reasonably priced. There's plenty of parking available in the lot as well. We're considering moving up north, and if we do, I have a feeling this will become a go-to spot for us. Definitely worth a visit! read more

This is our go to spot for a bite and beer/wine. Tapped has a one of a kind ambiance, it's welcoming, clean, quaint, and tastefully decorated. Upon arriving to the tap house, I always immediately notice: the witty signage that changes often, the big open windows that allow you to view outside (I love natural lighting) and all the boozy booze also known as crafty beer and selected wines that you can purchase from a can, glass, or on tap. The beer options are very good and tasty. Tapped has a large range of different craft beers and a variety of rotating beers as well. OH YEA ! Tapped also has A machine that makes boozy frozen drinks. Keep in mind, the frozen boozy drinks change. FEAR NOT when they are out of the frozen boozey drink there is usually another frozen drink. Sidenote,I believe one can get crowlers to take also. Another side note, you can buy bottles of wine and Tapped also sells packs of beer or individual beer cans that you can buy to take home or drink there ! There is food and its soooooo yummy ! I have not ordered an item on the menu that I have not liked. Well ONLY the desserts, I have not had one that I enjoyed YET .THERE I SAID IT :( but I am okay with not having desserts when they have so many other GREAT options! But hey maybe you like the desserts! I will say, this is a place that you must stop at - if you're in or passing by the Mukilteo area. Tapped has a great selection of craft beers, food, and the customer service is excellent. The service is both efficient and friendly. Also, the server Landon is EXCEPTIONAL. Landon is always super knowledgeable on the beers, friendly, quick and efficient.
