    8oz French onion soup
    Beth L.

On our way to Leavenworth, used Yelp to find this location for lunch. There were 4 of use, 2 ordered the fish sandwich, 1 a smash burger and I ordered 8 oz cup of French onion soup. This is a seat yourself establishment. The server was friendly and provided us with menus and asked us about our drinks. She was personable and friendly. After our drinks were delivered she took our order. I had the hazy IPA. Everyone in the party enjoyed their lunch. I think I'd recommend the bowl of French onion if this is your main course, it was for me. I munched on fries. The soup was tasty. The fry sauce is tasty , thought it had a dill flavor, loved it. The location is cozy, a bit chilly , but cozy. One wall is all TV's showing sport and other programming. Their program monitors were advertising outdated event info, had a monitor just dedicated to their list of beer, had a hazy IPA. At the table you can also access the beer menu via a QR code. Worth the stop, recommend this location. They have a great beer selection and food menu that is varied.

Great food and service! Perfect for families with tons of options on tap. Patio is perfect when the weather is nice.

Not very toasted bread with my Turkey BLT, was way better 2 weeks ago and my tots were soggy tonight. Waitress said there are new cooks.

Been a long time since I've written a review for here so just an update. Been living in Monroe and coming here 4 years now. Going up a star - with contingencies- lol We (my husband and I) love it here. The menu can be hit and miss but overall is great. Biggest tip - always go for the tots - skip the fries. Occasionally the inside of your chicken ranch wrap will come out ice cold straight out of the fridge- not a regular occurrence- will blame an occasional new hire in the kitchen. Chicken and waffles I the best thing on the menu minus the chicken. Don't do the chicken strips here. And if/when you do get the chicken and waffles - just know the waffles ARE THAT GOOD. I'd like to try subbing tots for my chicken some time (lmao dunno if they would do that). Everything else is fantastic. Baja fish wrap is solid. The fish in the fish and chips is my favorite in town, panko fish is bomb here. The prime rib dip is my husband's favorite in the area. Pulled pork is solid The nachos are possibly the best nachos ever. We've somehow never done the loaded tots but everyone says they are bomb. The beer & cider options are off the hook. If like to add I really appreciate the HUGE NA selection - as I'm looking at becoming pregnant in the future - and still planning on coming here. People who don't drink alcohol have so many tasty options now! I'd also like to give the bartender Ashley a huge shout out. She truly aided in me having better food experiences here. Her knowledge of the food and sauce combination abilities to truly elevate the experience has taken everything to the next level. She is THE SAUCE & EXPERIENCE QUEEN. I'd prefer having her as my server every time she is that good. Give that gal a promotion and raise! And I love the vibe here 500,000 times more than the other booshey location. Thank you so much for keeping it chill here. I'll come here as long as I live witching driving directions. This place is great, give it a shot. And ask Ashley for recommendations.

Nice casual atmosphere. They have bar seating, tables and a nice large outdoor section. I can see the patio being a fun spot as the weather gets better. There is a stage and some games. Nice section beers and ciders. Spicy cauliflower was great. Fried pickles were good too although I prefer spears. Service was friendly although one of our drinks was served in the wrong(smaller glass).

    Disgusting grilled cheese

Horrible grilled cheese! Seriously! This is 15.99 on Texas toast 2 slices of Kraft singles and then a burned one on the outside. Somehow that makes the taste better!? And it's called loaded because of that extra cheese on the outside. Typically the BBQ pork is fine here and it was which is why I scooped it out and put it in the tasty tomato soup! Yeah. Don't order this dish. I got it without BBQ sauce. The sauce could not even cover how bad this grilled cheese is...for being a grilled cheese sandwich. Not even in the vicinity....

We absolutely love coming to Route 2! The employees are all super friendly and engaging, the food is great, and the rotating taps let you try something new. We love the patio and sit outside whenever we can. Very family friendly, lots of great events and weekly trivia.

They are just ok. Limited menu with gluten free or diary free options. The food was good but most likely would not go back.

We had the cod and chips, and the kimchi poutine - both total winners. The cod was fresh and fluffy with perfect breading and the fries were amazing. Clearly home-cut and fried in clean oil, they were everything you'd want in a fry! The poutine was really good, but it's a stretch to call it kimchi given it was really pickled cabbage (which, I know is what kimchi is but this wasn't that), however the mix of veggies, fries, pickles toppings and cheese was delicious- and their veggie gravy was sooo good! The servers were very nice and the place was the right amount of clean, for a seaside bar. Is absolutely go again!

To make matters worse, you're expected to order at the counter and clear your own table when you're done -- this isn't a fast food restaurant, so why are customers doing the work? There's minimum table service to speak of, which makes the whole experience feel impersonal and frankly lazy on the part of management. The food quality simply doesn't justify the effort or the price. Standards have slipped and nobody seems to care enough to fix it. I won't be going back, and I'd encourage others to save their money and look elsewhere.

We walked in and were immediately transported to a pub in the UK, no passport required. Quaint, cozy, and the kind of place where everyone can find their comfort zone, whether that's a booth, a bar stool, or a table where you can fully spread out and commit to dinner. We were greeted right away by an incredibly nice server and shown to our table so we could sit down and dry off, because at that point it was basically a monsoon outside. Truly biblical weather. Menus hit the table and the race was on. Obviously, in a place like this, I had to order the fish and chips. My partner ordered the French dip, not because he wanted it more than anything else, but because it was my second choice. Strategic ordering at its finest. If I can't commit, I will absolutely order through someone else. HA. We also got the Caesar salad, and if you're looking for a genuinely great salad, this is the one. Fresh, delicious, and healthy enough to make you feel slightly virtuous before demolishing fries. Overall, this place is a win. Great food, super friendly employees, and fries you will be thinking about later. Highly recommend for rainy days, hunger emergencies, and people who like their pub vibes extra cozy.
