The "famed" bartender Jameson is incredibly arrogant and blatantly condescending, sufferimg from acute narcissism. He may know his ooze, but nothing about customer service. His attention is insincere, his favorite word is I, and that makes him annoying. He's been here for years, be which he happily repeats, so the owners won't do anything about it. The vibe is disconnected and confusing; an English pub playing country music or AC/DC. On my first visit I swore I'd never come back, upon reluctantly giving it a second try, I stand by my first impression. This was a last-minute, we are beyond starving decision, which is usually how the best meals happen. We walked in and were immediately transported to a pub in the UK, no passport required. Quaint, cozy, and the kind of place where everyone can find their comfort zone, whether that's a booth, a bar stool, or a table where you can fully spread out and commit to dinner. We were greeted right away by an incredibly nice server and shown to our table so we could sit down and dry off, because at that point it was basically a monsoon outside. Truly biblical weather. Menus hit the table and the race was on. Obviously, in a place like this, I had to order the fish and chips. My partner ordered the French dip, not because he wanted it more than anything else, but because it was my second choice. Strategic ordering at its finest. If I can't commit, I will absolutely order through someone else. HA. We also got the Caesar salad, and if you're looking for a genuinely great salad, this is the one. No respect for customers and shorted portions! If you respect people who respect the customer and deliver on their menu description, avoid this restaurant! I ordered from Three Lions Pub via Uber Eats. I picked up the order myself. I arrived, went to the bar, and waited about 5 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge me. Several workers walked by, including the Manager, two waiters, and the bartender, without even a head nod or any other form of acknowledgement. 3 people in the kitchen could see me. Three in the expeditors' area that could also see me - and hear me call to get their attention. My order was on the table within 5 feet of me, I could read my name, and I have poor eyesight. I tried to get their attention, but everyone was too engaged with each other to notice a CUSTOMER! I ordered my meal for pickup so it wouldn't get cold, but while I stood there for about 5 minutes, it only got colder and soggier. I stepped 1 foot into the expeditor area and grabbed my bag. The manager yelled at me and said, "You work for us! You can't step back here." A kind waiter grabbed my bag, checked my name, and handed it back to me. The Manager then chased me to my car and yelled that she was going to report me to Uber! I responded that I was not Uber; I was a customer! She kept yelling as I drove off! When I got home, 5 minutes away, I found my French fries cold and soggy, the onion rings cold, and my Sherried Chicken for $21.00 described as: "Two boneless skinless chicken breasts" sauteed with mushrooms in a rich Sherry cream sauce. Served with mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables. Had just 1 boneless skinless chicken breast! We bought it to share, and with just 1 breast, we both went hungry and disappointed. The quality was god (after I microwaved it to get some heat back!) My past experience with this restaurant has always been positive, with friendly service and honest portions. This time I found neither! Is it a new owner? Are they cutting costs and shrinking portions without changing their website? Did they just hire a crabby Manager? If they treat customers that way, if they treat Uber drivers that way, they do not deserve loyal customers! I do not have time to improve their business; I do not write reviews. But I was moved by their lack of respect for the customer, or even if they were right and I was an Uber driver, they do not deserve Uber's services and I wish others better luck if they happen to choose Three Lions Pub on Novelty Hill! read more

Food: the food here is delicious! I think I've come here maybe 5 times already? And I always try to have something new. Their soup is really good. I recommend their burgers and their sides! Service: the staff here are sooooooo nice! They're so down to earth! They are attentive and quick to tend to their customers. What I appreciate as well is that they also have side conversations that's so much more than just "the weather is great today" type of thing. I've driven past this location hundreds of times and today we finally stopped in to get some lunch. It's nestled in the Redmond ridge shopping center by Starbucks. It wasn't very crowded we were there around 1ish. Friendly staff and very attentive. Menu has something for everyone. Was hoping they'd have a scotch egg on the menu but they did not, they did have bangers and mash and Shepards pie along with others. We went a different route, I got the pub dip and my boyfriend got the Stilton Burger. Food came out quickly, the fries were perfection, super crisp and salty. My pub dip was excellent. My boyfriend's burger was a different story, he took a few bites and it tasted good but he thought it might have been undercooked, just hard to tell with all the toppings and Stilton cheese and we were so hungry! Well we discovered it was undercooked, we didn't want to say anything but we are going to watch and make sure he doesn't get sick. we come to Three Lions at least twice a month and I've always been greeted with very nice service and very good food but last week we came in and Kevin the bartender was rude and service was lacking. Table was only cleared but not cleaned. I had to go to the to order drinks. Several minutes later he came to the table to check the ids of everyone (all in their mid 30s or older) upon doing so he went back to the and did not make our drinks. While he was at our table we asked if they were short staffed - where he snidely replied "No, your table is clean" which it was not. The service was terrible. luckily Paige was here, she had just gotten off her shift, but stayed to help us out and made our experience more enjoyable. Kevin is not the kind of person you would expect to be working service based upon his gruff, rude customer service. We have always had great service from Paula and Jordan and now Paige. read more

The crust on the pasties was excellent, shepherds pie was super good and one of the best fish and chips I have had in a while. It has a good vibe and friendly staff. Between the three of us, we ordered the prime rib, a burger, and the shepherds pie, I ordered the shepherd pie, which was delicious and great for comfort food, being one of their specialties, being an English themed restaurant. Everyone was satisfied with their main meal, we had the homemade potato chips as an appetizer, which were crispy and delicious. I ordered a few of one of the British brews 'Speckled Hen' which was a great British Ale, as well as a few Guinness Stouts ordered. Good food, cool pub, but could use additional wait staff. Went with the family here on a Friday night at 5:30 and was able to get a booth right away. Note: Don't sit in the first booth as it's freezing in the winter with everyone coming and going. The waitress moved us to the back once another booth was open. Food was pretty quick about 15 min and tasted good. Kids had just plain burgers and fries. The fries were really delicious! The burgers were good, but would have been better if my kids ate toppings. My husband had the stilton burger which had English blue cheese, he said it was good, but not great. I guess he prefers American blue cheese. I had the sherry chicken which was great! Large portions and like true English food, lacked salt on the veggies. Once salt was added it was perfect. My 6 yr old even liked the sauce. By the time we were wrapping up, we noticed our waitress seemed a bit unhappy. Might be due to number of tables and people waiting, but it was noticeable. We had to ask for a water twice for my daughter which still took a good 8 min. The waitress also never stopped by to ask how we were doing. We had to flag her down again for the bill, which is normal for restaurants, but with a line of people waiting, you want tables to open up quickly. I'd say we'll be back, but might try during the week when it's not so busy and the waitress is friendlier. They have good ambiance. Mostly when Seahawks play! They have screens on top of every corner. You can gather with friends and still feel in a cozy environment. We love their mussels with wine. Beverages are very yummy! They have tables outside but i haven't seen anyone there yet. I really want this to be a regular stop, and it has everything going for it except one - food quality. I don't mean preparation quality, that's fine, or at least it's good enough for bar food. There is a bit of a salt quantity problem. Sometimes not enough, sometimes waaay too much. But that can be fixed with a bit of management oversight. The real problem is quality of ingredients. I got a yearning for English pub food and my wife and I ventured out to The Three Lions Pub last Saturday. The Pub had plenty of seats indoors and outdoors, under a tent, and we opted for the latter. It was a gorgeous evening and also we preferred sitting outside. Our waitress recommended the Speckled Hen Ale, an English ale, when I asked her for an English beer. My wife had a Pinot Gris. The ale was crisp and cold and delicious. For dinner my wife had fish and chips; the fish was salmon and cod and she said it was excellent. I had the Shepherds Pie, along with sweet peas, a slice of cucumber, and lettuce. I asked for a side of onion rings. The shepherds pie was absolutely divine.
