Had French Prime Dip. A bit too high on bread to meat ratio for me but super tasty. The dip part is great and salty to complement the bread but too salty to drink the leftover. Hadn't been to Redmond's Bar and Grill for a couple of years and I was very pleasantly surprised when I did. Biggest letdown in the past has been server's who seemed very disinterested in customer service. Not always a deal killer, but if you are going to price yourself at a premium, the experience should match the pricing. This trip it did. Our server, Davis, was a very pleasant, very engaging young man who went out of his way to show that he indeed did care that we were enjoying our visit. I listened in to his conversation with another table and it was clear that he extended the same courteous hospitality to everyone. If you are going to be in the hospitality biz be a Davis. For dinner we had the oink and moo, as well as a French dip, one order of garlic Parmesan fries and one regular fry. All the food was solid, the oink and moo was outstanding. TL;DR: typical sports bar. Parking: street-side only. Atmosphere: typical sports bar feel. Menu: straight forward and descriptive, no images for the visually stimulated. Service: wait to be seated, order at the table, check brought to you, you will be watered. Kid Friendly: kid's menu with crayons, high chair, plastic cup with straw, Cubano: a nice blend of salty and sour with a hint of spice, is great with the fries but is going to be coma-inducing because of all the carbs haha. Side Quinoa Salad: lightly flavored and fluffy with a hint of tang. I was a fan of the little crunchy and chewy bits of nuts and dried fruit. A nice palate cleanser in between bites of salty or spicy meals. Things I ordered ToGo: Chicken Skewers: chicken was on the dry side and didn't have much flavor by itself despite its vibrant yellow coloring. I also had a piece that was undercooked and was still pink and red inside--I promptly spat it out and microwaved it to finish cooking it off. A bit scary if you're not paying attention. I did enjoy the cilantro sauce that it comes with though. Fish and Chips: totally not worth the $18.50. Only came with 3 pieces of fish that were the size of a grade schooler's palm. The breading was nice and crispy still but the cod inside was a bit dry and almost had a rubbery texture. Also, the tartar sauce that I was given didn't even fill up 1/3 of the already small sauce container--I ran out of sauce before I could say, "fish and chips". The garlic parmesan fries had a good flavor but were very soggy and limp when it arrived via delivery. This would definitely be a better item to order while dining in versus ToGo. read more

While the sockeye salmon tasted good, the portion was very small. The mashed potatoes were cold, hard, and dry, and the vegetables weren't cooked properly. I had been looking forward to going to brunch at RBG for a while and we picked a wonderful day to go. We sat outside with a few others and our server showed up with water and menus and while he got our drinks, we decided. On recommendation I ordered the Hash and eggs which was a big mistake. I never saw any pastrami in the hash, the soft poached eggs came out as hard boiled eggs and the salad vegetables was limp and looked leftover from yesterday. The other curious thing, the potatoes while cooked fine had zero flavor no amount of salt and pepper or the Chipotle Hollandaise sauce could save. My husband enjoyed his chicken fried steak but his ordered over easy eggs came out medium hard. Would have done something about it but we never saw our server or any other staff until mid way through the meal. By then, it was too late for me. Sadly, no one checked to see how we were doing or offer refill on coffee until the end. Of course we will go back as we enjoy RBG but it will be awhile on the brunch front. read more

We really liked our experience, our waiter was excellent and the food wasn't bad either. We had the fish tacos which were recommended and they didn't disappoint, they were delicious! We also had the French prime dip with truffle fries, which was not my favorite. The clam chowder tasted a bid fishy for me, but my wife liked it. Maybe one suggestion for the fish tacos would be to cut the fish in 2-3 thinner strips as it was a bit challenging to eat the large piece of fish inside the taco shell and keep everything together. read more

RBG has been one of my routine lunch spots during the work week. Definitely recommend. I typically get tacos and they have yet to disappoint (no matter which version I get). Typically, not over crowded and in the sunny seasons, there are outdoor seating options. There is off street parking but also a lot that kiddie corners RBG that has dedicated parking. Service is typically good. I have had great service and I have service where my server goes missing for long periods of time. The norm is great service and I never hesitate about coming here. You'll also find large TV screens to watch sports and a very robust beer selection. If you're on the Eastside, I definitely recommend making this one of your "go-to" spots. read more

A group of 7 of us were converging at Redmond's Bar & Grill at 7:00 on a Saturday. We'd called to check if reservations were required or necessary, and they said not to worry. That said, the place was slammed when we arrived, and we waited over 45 minutes (outside in the cold). I would have preferred having a reservation, since all of us were on time and waiting at 7:00. Note: parking is a real bear in the area. If you can't find anything in the immediate area, park over at Redmond Town Center and walk over. Awesome selection of beers on tap. It'd be a great place to hang and have a couple of pints. Lots of food options on the menu. I was going to get the fish tacos, but then switched last minute to the fish and chips. The fish pieces had a good batter, but they were a little small, and a little tough. The chips were meh. Kind of regret not getting the tacos; someone else at the table had gotten them and raved about them. This place is one of my friend's favorites, so I'm likely to be back (although on my own accord, I probably wouldn't). Let's see how it goes the next time! :) read more

You know, these guys actually have a "pretty good" pastrami sandwich. They don't serve the good stuff, which I haven't had since the late 80's when you could get a marbled cut of pastrami but for a lean pastrami sandwich it's better than anything you can get in the famous NY Deli's. Give it a try, if you are an of school pastrami fan, it is surprisingly good... but not Stellar. read more

I visit Redmond's Bar & Grill often. This is not an ordinary bar & grill in that the menu is much more thought out and better than the fare you'd ordinarily see attached to a bar. The creator of their menu is talented and has put in the effort to create something is a cut above, in my opinion. There's a weekly special that rolls out on Saturday. The waitstaff are courteous and on-the-ball, and I can tell it must be a good place to work because there seems to be very low turnover. The parking situation is a little constrained, but I usually find street parking easily. Once in a while I've had to walk several blocks down from the Redmond public parking lot. Also, and this is really important, they have FRESH CREAM for their coffee (if you come here for brunch). And the coffee is good.
