Delicious food and friendly service, what's not to like? Went in for breakfast and ordered the huevos rancheros which came with yummy flattened chorizo and thicker house-made tortilla. I also appreciated they got the egg order right - so many places just do the eggs the same even if people order it differently (over hard or easy) so that was a pleasant surprise. We came by this restaurant after doing a bunch of errands in Redmond. We were looking for street tacos and found them here at Los Chilangos. I've had tacos in Mexico and in San Diego/Chula Vista area. These compare well to some of the tastiest tacos I've had. This is certainly one of the best in Redmond imho. I've had their Lengua, Cabeza and Chorizo tacos. All delicious. I'll probably work my way through all the different ones in a couple more visits. I can't wait to come back. read more

Pretty busy when we came on a Thursday evening with a constant stream of people coming in before closing. Almost all the tables were taken. Lots of families and groups of friends. You order at the counter and then sit a table where they bring your food. Overall pretty quick service and seems like a small business so love supporting that. We enjoyed our food, we got tacos which were fine. Slightly bland so needed the extra salsas they bring to your table but a solid 4/5 with that added. I would come back if I were in the area. It's definitely not like the Mexican food you can get in California but it scratches the itch if you have a craving for Mexican food and live in seattle. Los Chilangos in downtown Redmond continues to be our favorite go-to eatery for Mexican food. Their food is always fresh and delicious and their salsa hits every time. I usually get the street taco plate but when I want something lighter, I get the veggie quesadilla, light on the cheese. The veggies are cooked perfectly so they still have a slight crunch and it's all wrapped in their heavenly homemade tortilla which is chewy and addictively delicious. Hands down best Mexican food in all of Washington!! I am very picky when it comes to Mexican food because I am Mexican.. but this place never misses. The food is so flavorful I've ordered the chicken, chorizo, Al pastor and carne asada tacos and all of them are just so so good. My boyfriend said the asada tacos are the best he's ever had! I've also ordered the burrito bowl with Al pastor and I ate it with chips and their mild red salsa SOOO GOOD my new favorite meal!! A lot of Mexican food is pretty greasy but this place is not greasy at all and I never leave feeling really heavy or sick. The employees here are always so nice and sweet. I am a pretty indecisive person and I changed my order like three times and the man taking my order was so sweet and patient about it, he didnt make me feel bad at all. Best service in town! The store is always very clean and there are a ton of seating options. A great place to have lunch with friends. I cannot encourage you enough to try this place out, it will not disappoint. The taco is for sure pretty good but it is relatively small and doesn't fill you up. We ordered quite a few tacos and at 3.50 one it is already kind of pricy but they would charge the beef tongue taco for $4.50 - that's insane... They also don't offer free chips. They should really offer free chips for $10 purchase or $20 purchase. Most mexican place offer free chips! Overall pretty clean and etc. - Would come back again but would avoid ordering the beef tongue taco, but I am afraid the next time I go back a taco would be $5 lol. read more

I sent my husband to pick up some once and he couldn't find the truck so he got Mexican from another food truck close by So when I found out they have a new permanent storefront right by us I excitedly told him to pick some up. No way he can make a mistake this time with an address!! The food was really delicious and portions so big! My chorizo quesadilla was huge for $10. My husband got the Al pastor tacos and there was so much juicy meat in them. Lastly we also got the beef tongue torta which was so juicy and tasty- usually many places make tongue really dry so I was a bit worried but very pleasantly surprised. We also ordered some sides- rice and beans, horchata drink, chips and salsa. These were all average. The mains are really the stand outs here!!! I do wish they offered guacamole though. Was super dissapointed. We usually go to the location in Kirkland and when i saw they had a location here in Redmond, i was excited to try it. I ordered 4 chicken tacos. The tacos were horrible. Nothing like the kirkland location. These were drenched in oil. The bottom of my take out container had several tablespoons of it. Thats how oily they were. Unfortunately i wont go back. I saw parked one of their trucks at Woodenville on a Sunday. It wasn't open then I remembered this new location and visited them next weekend. We tried most of the menu. Mulitas were good (taco with cheese). For me I just like regular tacos better. Head and tongue were very soft. Tongue was the best. Even over pastor. Asada is OK. The downside was that they didn't have champurrado. It was only the first weekend on March :( Apparently it is until last day of February. read more

The food slaps SO HARD Service might not be happy go lucky but it's fast and they get you your food hot and fast The servings are HUGE too, I always order the Habanero Wet burrito and eat it for 2-3 meals (that stuff makes me sweat omg). Pros: Consistently good. We've eaten here about 7-8 times. I've had the carne asada and carnitas tacos and burritos. Well seasoned and the portions are larger than most places. The chilaquiles is also good, but can be too spicy. The flan is what I expected from Mexican flan, more on the firm side. Cons: limited menu. I wish they offered soups/stews like posole or caldo de res. Also, more choices for salsas. In comparison, El Camion in Seattle offered at least six vs two here. read more

Not sure what seasoning they use for their al pastor tacos, but I've tried getting al pastor tacos everywhere here and although other places have other delicious food, nobody can beat Los Chilangos specifically for their al pastor tacos. Other places may marinate the pork with pineapple, but the tacos here has tiny pieces of pineapple chunks left on there that's really does it for me. They have a few trucks around, but I think this is their first store front so really nice to have a place to dine in and covered from Seattle rain. One interesting thing here is that their red sauce is the more mild spice while their green is spicier, where every where else is the opposite. And there's no refried beans, black beans instead. I've eaten a lot of tacos in my life and this was flavored so well and not greasy at all. The server (maybe owner?) came over a couple of times to check on us and was so friendly and you can tell how much pride she takes in the place. Pretty good! I ordered the godfather burrito, with the steak/chorizo mix (chupa cabras). It was very good! Pretty big and very filling. Has a good mix of stuff. I got the mild salsa on the side. It was very flavorful a definitely mild so if you want it more spicy go for the hot or diabla salsas. I also got sour cream which was nice to dip in. I also got the horchata and it was actually VERY good! I'm Mexican and have had a lot of horchatas and it impressed me. It was very smooth and creamy but not too thick. Eaten here many times over the past 3-4 years (sometimes every other week), although the last time was maybe around April 2024 or so. Because we have so enjoyed the meals, we decided to revisit last weekend. What we found was the the portions have gotten smaller and the prices have gone up. Given everything in today's world, that wasn't a surprise - but what WAS a surprise was how little food I got. I ordered Huevos Ranchero - it came with the one home made tortilla, on top of which sat maybe 2 Tablespoons of beans topped with 2 eggs, 3 teeny tiny pieces of sliced avocado, and about 1 Tablespoon of potatoes on the side. For $19.00! This is SO far from what they used to serve. Before, this meal was enough to hold me throughout the entire day. This meal from last weekend - I never even felt near full. And the Godfather Burrito that my s.o. get every time we are here, was smaller as well with a higher price. Very disappointing indeed. read more

Really great price, perfect-sized portions and super friendly customer service. They even have a punch card system. So lucky to have this spot in Redmond! This is the first quick service / sit down restaurant venture for these successful food truck & catering operators. I've been a fan of their Bellevue food truck for years (got hooked on the Horchata!) and I can say with confidence you won't be disappointed here! Today we did a quick stop for tacos between meals (taco snack!) and it was all so delicious. The carnitas was a standout among the carne asada and Al pastor.
