Delicious food that made me feel like I was a child again eating my grandma's dumplings! The pilaf with lamb was delicious, flavorful and not too spicy. My kids loved the deserts and kept asking for more!

I have passed this location so many times, and the unique name caught my eye! We ordered online for pick-up. Food was nicely packed and ready upon arrival. We tried the loaded Loaded Dumplings, Sweet & spicy dumplings and a sweet piroshki for dessert. Both of our favorite things were different: I love the sweet and spicy while he enjoyed the loaded dumplings more. We more wish the loaded dumplings had more cheese/toppings so that all of the dumplings could have topping. Overall, lots of delicious food menu items and we appreciated the speedy ordering process.

Rush In Dumplings is located off of 100th Ave NE in a strip mall across from the Juanita Safeway. There's ample parking in the shared lot. This place is set up as a walkup and order place with no tables for restaurant dining. I called ahead to pick up my order, and it was ready upon arrival. Service was fantastic, and I really enjoyed the dumplings. You can mix and match which filling you want in your dumpling from beef, chicken, beef & pork, potato & cheese, and potato & mushrooms. I went with a 12-piece order of the classic (butter, sour cream, cilantro, sriracha, vinegar, and curry powder) in addition to the 12-piece Alaskan dumpling style with onion and parsley. I found the classic to be more flavorful, but I did enjoy the Alaskan version as well. For a small extra fee, you can get garlic flavored sour cream, which added a lot to the dumplings. The pricing is very reasonable with 12-piece dumplings costing $11 and 18-piece dumplings costing $16. You can also get them frozen ($10/pound). Next time I visit, I'll want to try their piroshki ($6.50 with meat or $6 without meat).

I was really hoping to have a better experience based on other reviews I read, sadly that's not the case. The loaded dumplings were pretty bland and not seasoned at all inside from what I could tell. I got the pork and beef stuffed and half potato and cheese. Neither flavor had any ... flavor. Then the oil, so much oil. It coated every bite and made any flavor even harder to detect. The cheese was somehow even bland. I got a side of the garlic sour cream and tried to use that to substitute for the food lacking flavor, but it was on the other end of the spectrum being so garlicky it was just spicy. I love garlic and cook with it often so I'm not just sensitive to it either. I debated throwing the dumplings away the whole time I ate them but I needed lunch and I wanted to give them a fair shot. I did not enjoy them. The honey cake was okay so I added a star otherwise this would have only gotten one. It was a very light flavor of honey as other reviews have said as well and it was what I expected. Fluffy and good, although I wouldn't go back for it. They gave me a punch card that I won't be using so if anyone wants it dm me haha. All in all, their dumplings were not good but maybeeeee the pastries are what you should be going for. The honey cake was good after all but I don't know if they are even made in house. Try your luck if you're feeling up for a possible disappointment.

For starters, this place is in the wrong location. It should be next to a bunch of bars! This is the food you need after a night of drinking. It's good, warm, and filling. Incredibly flavorful? No. Solid flavors, and do you feel satisfied when you're done? Yes. I've had these in Alaska and in a few other locales and Rush In Dumplings are definitely on par with every other experience I've had. Try 'em out, get the classic!

We got our first take out from here last night and I have to say it was a huge hit! Not knowing what to order, I asked the owners advice. He was SO helpful, listened to what both my daughter and I wanted, suggesting options to keep us both (and the family waiting at home) happy. We ordered plain, fully loaded and sweet & spicy dumplings, with a variety of meet/chicken/potato & cheese filings). For the piroshki, we ordered the meet, potato & mushroom and potato & cheese. In addition we got a side of Rushin coleslaw and borscht. I haven't had borscht before and was a little hesitant as I'm not a fan of beetroot but it tasted so good! Unfortunately none of the main food survived a second for me to take photos, it was just too tasty! Given it was our first meal from Rushin, I decided to treat the family to desserts. All were really tasty with the honey cake, apple turnover and sweet apricot piroshki being tied favorites. We will definitely be back, the food was a delightful change to the usual Chinese/Pizza/Mexican/Indian takeout in the area.

Um...YUM!!!! I've never had pelmeni and I was super impressed by Rush In. Delicious and I will definitely be back.

Burnt food sent. We ordered at 8pm as we had just got off a plane. Sending food like this shows they don't care about quality or their customers. Juanita needs good food places. This sure ain't it. Pic attached.

    Nastiest dumplings ever.

    1. Lady didn't want to take cash. 2. Dumplings are cold 3. Dumplings are absolutely tasteless. 4. Dumplings are soggy as hell. Had 12 classic with 6 beef and pork and 6 potato and mushroom. Totally overpriced even if they were good. Nasty.

This is based on one item that we rounded out our dinner from salad items frythe grocery store. I had been wanting to they their food so we stopped on the way home. My wife wanted to try the potato and cheese dumplings as she had an aunt that used to make them. She want to get them loaded. They were good although my wife said the flavor profile was different but this was to be expected as her aunt was from eastern Slovakia and these are Russian. I would like to go back and try a few more of their menu items. The lady watching in front of us said they were a bit slow but we'll worth the wait. We got there at the right time as we only waited about 5 minutes.

We also learned about the tea flavor wheel and identified tea tasting notes in the sampled teas. I do wish there was more of a compare and contrast between the teas - it would have been cool to try the same teas but early vs late season, or tea processed similarly but from different regions. If you're new to tea though, the classes are perfect for you!

We had seen several…read morepop up in the past, but hadn't seen anything interesting in the past few months, so we dropped in to ask about them. Apparently rather than being prescheduled most of the time, they are held on demand. We asked for an Oolong tasting session and was able to get one penciled in a couple of weeks later. The store itself is appropriately decorated for a modern and trendy tea shop. There's a bit of an overpowering perfume that lingers throughout the store. It's not the best setting for a tea tasting, especially when trying to differentiate tasting notes when the olfactory glands are already completely saturated with perfume. LizzyKate has a decent selection of true tea, nothing super unique or rare, but I think they lean towards the more accessible blends and tisanes in the first place. Oolong Tasting Class ($35/per person) - Tasting sessions are held in the bar area, brewed mostly using gaiwan with carefully measured water temperature and volume. The class provides some educational material including laminated papers describing the tea production process, growing regions, anatomy, etc. More importantly, unlike some other tasting sessions I've attended, they actually provide pencil and paper, along with brewing instructions, to write down cupping and tasting notes. It certainly beats taking notes on my phone as I usually do. For this course, we tasted a white tea and four different oolongs. My personal tasting notes as follows (for future reference for myself): Bai Mu Dan - Mild, mellow, sweet and slightly astringent flavor with notes of honey and hay. Light golden liquid that's very easy to drink. Tie Guan Yin - Caramelized sweetness, vegetal leafy with a tiny earthy element. Darker golden color with more astringency and round lingering taste. The leaves smell smoky and roasted. Baihao - The smell is distinctively roasty and earthy, approaching the fermented smell of puerh. It has a brownish color and tastes smoky and earthy like peat. Formosa Oolong - It tastes of malt and molasses, with a certain oxidized toastiness. The color is more dark brown although it's not very astringent given the color. Osmanthus Oolong - This smells more malty and surprisingly not that flowery in aroma. The mouthfeel is extremely creamy and silky, almost like milk with the balanced taste of barley and hops with only a slight osmanthus flowery taste in the background. I think the base used is Jin Xuan given the milkiness. With the tasting also comes some treats including mini muffins and some tea infused bars from a chocolatier in Singapore, Fossa Chocolate. I think LizzyKate is more geared towards people who don't have much experience with tea and want a place that's extremely welcoming and modern. They have lattes and plenty of herbal and fruity infusions to help beginners ease into the complexities of tea, While this shop isn't for me, more tea shops are always welcome in the area. I'd definitely recommend it to my friends who want to dip their toes into the world of tea. Bathrooms - Single unisex room.

However, the royal milk tea we ordered came out with boba. I obviously didn't notice until after we took our photos, left the shop, and took a few sips, so we went back in to let the staff know. First, she said she would re-use the drink and sift out the boba to replace it with pudding. I declined that offer and requested they make a new one. Then, another staff member joked saying she would drink my already drunk from, old boba. Then, they threw it into the trash. Talk about waste :( finally, they remade it but gaslit me telling me that I had actually ordered boba, and they didn't believe me that I had actually put in pudding. Given that I had ordered from the kiosk, I told them they can just look it up and see I wasn't lying, but she rudely said "well I already made it." They didn't even put a sticker/label on my remade drink. The worst part is, the peach oolong was really bad and the boba was especially bad. Overcooked and bland.
