Everything looked beautiful and tasted just as good as it looked. I tried the toffee, salted caramel, honey lavender, oatmeal snickerdoodle, and strawberry rhubarb macarons. The honey lavender was light and floral without being overpowering, and the strawberry rhubarb had the perfect balance of sweet and tart. The salted caramel and toffee flavors were rich and indulgent, and the oatmeal snickerdoodle tasted warm and cozy with a cinnamon sugar flavor that stood out from the others. I instantly fell in love with Lady Yum when my friend brought me to this cute shop. Bubbles and macaroons?! What more could you ask for! They offer a glass of bubbles and a macaroon for $5! That is super affordable especially these days. My friend treated me to two macaroons. It was hard to decide since there were many yummy flavors to choose from. I ended up getting the chocolate mint and strawberry shortcake. They were both incredible! The strawberry shortcake tasted just like a real strawberry shortcake. Their macaroons are light and airy with a generous amount of filling in the middle. I wish I had a location close to me. The lady behind the counter was very friendly and nice to talk to. A nice macaron shop to stop by if you're craving sweets! I had their lemon and fruity pebbles macarons and I really enjoyed them! They costed $3 each. Portion was a bit more than normal. They were both tasty and sweet. I do wish there was more cream added. I also had their new Strawberry Birthday Cake. It was pretty good! Portion was decent too, however, it did get too sweet for me so I'd recommend sharing a piece with another individual. I liked the ambiance. Just strolling past, we decided to try the $5 bubbly + macaron deal, and boy were we glad we did! It's a lovely interior with pretty chandeliers and purple seats, small marble-topped tables, and is very charming. Jojo was amazing and patient with us as we talked through flavor pairings with the bubbles. We loved our choices and enjoyed chatting with her between customers. The service is always super friendly and efficient! The interior is super cute and spacious. I have taken many family and friends here for a treat and they all agree that these are the best macaroons they have had compared to all of the other businesses. It's a great atmosphere and it's always very clean They have a ton of flavors to choose from and they are all very good and true to what they say they are. The challenges they do not have any samples so you are taking a little bit of a risk on a tiny little treat that cost $2.50 each . But I also don't know of any shop that offers samples I've been coming to this location for over eight years and the staff is always changing and is just OK. They get the job done and are nice enough. They have lots little things around the shop that you can buy that will make great gifts Definitely go and try a few different flavors. You will love them. This location is just next to Zoka coffee. Perfect to pair macaroons with :) Parking can be challenging mostly on weekends! You can always go to the library or to the QFC one? It isn't that far I guess. Small location compared to the recent one. They have regular flavours but also add some seasonal. They also introduced some sort of mini glazed cute cakes. We noticed they had something moving at the top and found that funny. Soon, we knew what they were for. They are supposed to get rid of flies, but the cakes next to the macaroons didn't have one, and a fly was over one of them. I wanted to try the orange one but didn't because of it :(. I would turn the inside colder and take good care of my food, which is the only thing they are selling, and they should be taking care of. I don't remember the last time I had good French Macarons was, so I was really looking forward to this. The options of flavors was just unbelievable! We had some really nice seasonal ones still related to fruit like percussion fruit, lavender, watermelon, peach. And then all the regular ones like th vanilla, espresso, strawberry, chocolate, oatmeal cookie, toffee, raspberry chardonnay, salted caramel. I went for the Vanilla bean and the Raspberry Chardonnay and they were just beyond amazing! The shells were just perfectly fresh and crispy, and a really beautiful filling as well! The vanilla was simple and perfect and I think I might even have like that the most! The raspberry was perfectly sweet as well and even had a jam filling on the inside. Such a beauty! My friend got the Almond Peach Prosecco , Wild Strawberry and Raspberry Chardonnay as well, and really loved them all! I tried both first two as well and they were really nice. Very fruit-y! Another friend had the Salted Caramel and the Wild Strawberry, and all she had to say was 'Oh My God' on repeat! Even mention how these are beyond any other macarons she has ever had before! The store has a really cute aesthetic vibe; very photogenic! The person working at the counter was really nice as well. The BEST macarons I've ever had! Lady Yum has the most delicious maroons and each macaroon tastes exactly like the selected flavor. Every bit is so fluffy and full of sweetness! My favorites include: espresso fudge, chocolate mint, chocolate, strawberry and toasted coconut. I have yet to try many other flavors! It's pricey but well worth it and I look forward to trying more flavors soon! These macarons are my favorite. I always get these as gifts for friends and family when going on trips. They also change the flavors regularly so I like to check in periodically to see what flavors they have. We usually get a 10 piece box. The standard flavors we get are Salted Caramel, Strawberry, S'Mores, Chocolate Mint, Lemon, Espresso Fudge, and Chocolate. My absolute favorite is the Salted Caramel and Espresso Fudge. My son loves the S'mores and Shindig. My husband loves Strawberry and Lemon. My son LOVES Lady Yum. Every time we go to downtown Kirkland, he always asks if we can stop by there. These macarons are part of his childhood memories now. He's loved these since he was a toddler. He is always full of smiles when he gets his Lady Yum. I've tried macarons from both the Bellevue and Kirkland locations, as well as by delivery and the consistency is there. First, I'll caveat that my 5 star review is for macarons within the U.S. Let's face it, the best are still in Paris. Holy moly. Second, it's probably closer to 4.5 star, but I rounded it up to 5 because I think they have a nice set-up plus they have nailed it well on their hours. On my first visit to this shop many years ago, the baker/owner was in fact behind the counter and introduced herself. (See "ABOUT" on their webpage, and that's her.) Upon my first taste, I knew I have found amongst the best macarons state side. Let me explain my criteria of a great macaron: - The outside needs to have a crunch but never potato chip crispy - The inside needs to be soft, but not oozy, runny. - The flavor needs to be recognizable and distinctive. I prefer stronger flavors but subtle is fine, too. - Never, ever - too sweet - Not refrigerated. That crunch NEVER comes back. I have eaten many, many Lady Yum from this location and at the airport even though they all come from their central kitchen in Woodinville. There have been some occasional misses. But by and large, they have been reliable. Their shop is cute, with a few tables and a window bench. They sell a small quantity of local items (foods and cards) and also a selection of wines (and champagne?) to go with the macarons. They stay open later into the evening to catch the after dinner crowd. Teens like to hang out there too. For the most part, the staff is nice. I've definitely encounter one or two grumpy-pants who are sick of repeating the ones on the left end (customer perspective) are the most popular and best sellers while the ones on the right end are their seasonal flavors. My fiancee has been coming to this macaron spot for several years and has certainly been hyping it up for me. I will say that the macarons are phenomenal and are certainly worst a 5/5. We ordered a set of 10 and thoroughly enjoyed every single flavor. The shells have an amazing crunch while retaining that lovely chew in the middle. However what stood out to me were the fillings. I personally love all the fruit flavors like strawberry, raspberry, and lemon. They were all a perfect balance of tartness in contrast with the sweet shell. The huge down side of our experience was the customer service, which was not what we expected from a bakery. There was nobody there when we walked in and when we were finally greeted it was by a lady who seemed way to sharp and sour to be working at a bakery. She quickly rushed us in picking which flavors and grabbed my fiancee's card when it didn't work the first time.
