Hidden Gem Donut Shop with Great Service Very underrated donut shop and Definitely worth going. The blueberry glazed donut is a must-try. Not only was the flavor spot on, but the donut itself was the perfect size--not too big, thick, or heavy. The medium size makes every bite feel balanced, with just the right amount of glaze so it's sweet but never overwhelming. The chocolate chip and maple glazed donuts were also excellent. I was especially impressed by how accommodating they were. I needed a last-minute order of 40 donuts for the next day, and they immediately accepted it. On top of that, I requested an early pickup around 9:30 AM, and they handled it with no problem. Since they open as early as 5 AM, it made the whole process super convenient. And it's not just donuts, their spinach and cheese wrap is a hit. Pairing a warm wrap with a donut makes for a really satisfying combo. The only downside? I didn't get a chance to take a proper photo as everyone grabbed more than one donut right away! I had to quickly hide two in a box for myself, so the only picture I have is of those last two survivors. To me, that says it all. Overall, Factory Donuts delivers perfectly sized, delicious donuts, great savory options, and outstanding service. A hidden gem in Kirkland that deserves way more attention. Got a variety of a dozen donuts, a few different kinds of donut holes and one large glazed donut. I have never seen sprinkle donut holes and I was so exited (sprinkles are my favorite!) If you won't do that, go in to this store understanding that you need to either know what you want, or let other people go until you know what you want. Every time I've gone I have never once experienced anything that would come close to rudeness. Go early, go fast, be ready, and hope they aren't sold out. These donuts are the best I have ever eaten. I like the french crullers so much (chocolate and vanilla) and the glazed twist, that I will get up early just to go get them before they sell out and then go back to sleep. I have NEVER been a donut person. However, these crullers are more pastries than donuts and they are amazingly airy, fluffy, and delicious. Get there before 9am on the weekend and 11 am on the weekdays because they sell out every day. Unfortunately, when they sell out of donuts, they don't make anymore. They do not allow patrons to eat on site, as those stools are only there for waiting on to go items. read more

We arrived just before 10 am (read as: quite late), and the selection was limited. Since it was our first time visiting, we ordered four doughnuts to split but we're up-sold to six with the deal of Buy 5, Get One Free. At $10.74 for six doughnuts, who could complain (insert shrug here). We did get drip coffee, and it was definitely not disgusting like mentioned in another review. It was however, dark roast - which I really appreciated because the doughnuts where kind of too sweet and kind of oily. Parking is plentiful, but get there early if you want a hearty selection. For one, there's more variety of things here like macaroons, sandwiches, croissant, etc. The price was clearly listed and everything was clearly label so that's a plus. I got: Buttermilk bar - big, crispy, good flavor Apple fritter - big, not as crunchy and didn't get any apple chunks Donut holes - standard, dense donut holes Crueler - very yummy, soft, light Macaroons - not the best but still pretty good I got all of this for $7, so it's definitely more reasonable in pricing than countryside donut. I wanted to try the pretzel crossaint but they already ran out so I will have to go back to check it out. I decided because I just relocated from Seattle I wanted to find another donut spot close to the one the resembles the one I was fond of in the city. driving to grab a bite to eat we saw this little spot off the road and took a peep inside, the aroma from entry was something that took me back to my childhood smelling the fresh yeast battered with dough and a mixture of pastry delicates that made my nostrils flare in interest. Approaching the counter we were greeted with a friendly hello from who seemed to be the owner, though he was on his phone it was a slow day so I didn't mind. The wide selection of pastries and donuts caused us to purchase a few different options; The Crumble, (one of my personal faves when done correctly) a Strawberry Fruity Pebbles cake, Peanut Butter and Jelly Donut, Chocolate Oreo icing cake, Chocolate Mochi, a Spinach and Cheese Pastry and the owner hooked us up with a free glaze donut! Huge shout out to him for allowing us to take our time with piecing what we desired. Though I was very satisfied with what we chose, I just wasn't able to get that same taste as my go to place back in the city, these donuts have a slight aftertaste dryness because of the size, though that's not a complaint just a remark of what my palate felt. Another reason I would have to knock it one Star is just due to the lack of what seems to be friendly restaurant energy, there's nothing that screams "invite your friends and family and sit and have a coffee and donut", there's a few boxes that I'd like to see placed in maybe a storage or hidden a little more so it's more welcoming on the consumers eye when entering this wonderfully smelt establishment The price is very reasonable for the amount you get on a variety selection and because of that I will be returning to see what they have on an earlier day! Cons: - They run out of most donuts early (and it has been that way for *many* years). - The coffee is disgusting. - The staff is extremely rude and abrupt. I totally get why people justify being a returning customer. The donuts are the best available. People want to support small businesses. Some people chalk this up as a cultural or personality thing. The rudeness is so off the charts it's comical. If you're lucky, other customers in the store will awkwardly laugh along with you as you're being treated like garbage. But it's not ok. They they flat out don't listen. They snap at you. I legit almost always leave flustered. They've even made my son feel sad with their condescending quips. This shop really sat on the verge between 3- and 4-stars for me, but at least for now, the lower score seemed appropriate. If you order through Uber, the menu is not very friendly. Turnover is listed with no hint to what flavor it is, a dozen and half dozen donuts are listed as "mix donuts" with choice of 8 flavors no matter which you do. If someone wasn't counting, they could add too many for half a dozen and maybe miss out on one they wanted, while on the other hand there's an inability to completely customize a dozen donut box without just ordering each donut separately. There's also a listing under 'menu' that just says 'ham and cheese'. Croissant? Bagel? Who knows? A few more menu items are cut off, but you get the just of what they are. Despite all that, the donuts themselves were pretty good. It's the first place I've seen around with tiger tails and they even threw in a raspberry fill to fill up our box, which was pretty nice. All of that would have given this place 4-stars, the part that tipped it lower was cold bagel dogs. Now, I'm not talking lukewarm from the delivery or even got pretty chilly outside. I mean they were cold cold. We had to take the time to heat them ourselves, with no idea how long it was supposed to take. To top it off, when we unwrapped them, one had cheese while the other was plain. There is no box to check off when ordering, and not even a description so I know to write-in my preference. Even though it is not the closest shop when I want donuts this is the place . The donuts were hot and fresh in the mornings when I stop in for picking up morning snacks for my group at work. And during the pandemic it appears that everyone felt the same way. Buying out all donuts to bring to the nearby first responders. I have to I say I'm pretty disappointed. I'd heard about Factory Donuts for some time and have wanted to try it. I live minutes away. Arrived at 2:20pm with a sign on door saying "sorry, we're sold out." It was closed though their hours state right there open until 3:00pm. It's unlikely a donut shop has sold out of everything by 2:20 on a Monday. And, even we're that true, it's surprising that a store specializing I donuts wouldn't know how to accurately plan their supplies. Now that I'm stung, I'm not driving another 60 minutes round trip hoping they'll be open when they say they will. My family stopped by to try this place. We were happy to find something for everyone. My youngest does not eat donuts, but he found a muffin instead. My oldest loves donuts especially ones with chocolate. We decided to purchase 2 dozen donuts plus food for the family-we we're taking it to feed the staff at my kids summer camp. After purchase, we went to sit down as the kids were eager to enjoy the food. NOPE!!! Owner changed their sweet tone to a firm one and told us we can't sit there.
