    Mamma Mia Afternoon Tea
    Ella M.

Very sweetie very camp. Delicious food, great service, adorable location, and knowledgeable staff. I love the system of visually prompting waitstaff with a strainer so the mental energy of both parties isn't taxed trying to figure out if we want more tea or not. They also steamed the milk that came with my tea and that was new and much appreciated. It was very quiet for a Saturday evening but even full capacity I can image the space would feel spacious

This is the first time to the Kirkland location for afternoon tea and it was nice. There are street parking as well. This month they had kpop demon hunter themed , which was why we decided to try it out. You get to choose from a selection of tea to try. Total we tried 5. They are very good and distinct. The butterscotch smell was sooooo good. Foodwise: the savory section was ok. The cheese bread was soft and cheesy, the cold noodle with egg was good but bland, and the meat wrap was good but could have use 1-2 more lettuce wrap. Scone was probably my favorite of the entire thing. It was crispy outside, soft inside, goes really well with the butter, jam or on its own. Dessert tier was also top notch. The macarons was so soft that it feels like you're eating air. The cheesecake has a nice balance of flavor and creamy texture. The cream puff reminds you of a caramel apple, but I did wish the puff had a better crust. Service was good, the waiters were really nice and attentive. Overall it was a nice experience, and good for special occasions.

Yesterday, I had one of the most unexpectedly magical birthday experiences -- and I just have to share it. My friend made the reservation as a surprise, and I had no idea what I was walking into... but wow, am I glad I went along for the ride. The concept was simple but brilliant: you pay for the experience and get unlimited tea, with the most heavenly in-house snacks and pastries included. And let me tell you -- this place did not hold back. The highlight? A mango cheesecake like no other. It wasn't just a cheesecake -- it was layered with sweet sticky rice. If you know, you know. Creamy, perfectly balanced, tropical heaven. And then came the Ube puff pastry -- crisp, flaky, full of rich flavor, and obviously fresh from their kitchen. Light but indulgent, it was honestly one of the best pastries I've had in a long time. And just when I thought it couldn't get better: the coconut macaron. Are you kidding me?! It was bold, sweet, and absolutely knocked my socks off. I wanted five more, no shame. But this experience wasn't just about the food (even though that alone would've been enough). It was about the people. Ana and the gentleman who served us -- let's call him the main tea man -- made the night truly unforgettable. He shared so much thoughtful detail about the teas, from why certain ones should be steeped at specific temperatures to how ingredients affect the flavor. It wasn't just service -- it was storytelling, and it made every sip feel intentional and personal. The atmosphere? Immaculate. Clean, chic, and the perfect vibe if you're looking to dress up, grab your besties, and make an event of it. They even host events -- and now I know where I'll be gathering the girls next. Honestly, stumbling into this place (thanks to my amazing friend!) was the best way to celebrate my birthday month. If you're a tea lover, a pastry enthusiast, or just someone looking for something different and delightful, please go. And go soon -- because those Ube puff pastries won't be around forever. Treat yourself. You deserve it.

The ambiance of this place is really well done! You get the whole vibe of an English tea party for sure! Love the soft colors and seating area towards the back - more private. The food was great. They have a vegetarian option too. Got to try 3 teas and enjoyed them all. Love the headwear props available to take pics. This place doesn't have an official sign outside just yet so it's easy to miss. It's by flatstick pub. But we gotta talk about the service...and the outfit...Service was very slow and not up to my expectations - for a 65 dollar tea time experience. Our server forgot to bring milk even though she was asked twice. We were a party of 7 and all of us felt like our table was "ignored". On one of the pours, the tea wasn't even fully brewed and was a pale color. This should have been checked before it was brought to the table. For a cute, posh, sophisticated high tea experience, I was not expecting that our servers would be wearing miniskirts that looked more like sportswear and that you could see their bottoms. If we're trying to stick with a classy ambiance, I would suggest changing the outfit to something more classic.

Picture perfect cafe for an afternoon tea. I'd recommend not eating beforehand as they give you so much food. I really enjoyed all the savory and sweet treats and trying the different teas. The only downside is parking is hard to find in downtown kirkland on the weekend. Love that they change up the menu depending on the season. Below was the Garden in Bloom menu in April: Savory Tier: -Asparagus Bechamel Vol-au-vent -Lemon Shrimp & Beet Hummus in Endive -Prosciutto & Tomato on Focaccia -House Scone and accoutrements Sweet Tier: -Pistachio Rose Cheesecake -Earl Grey Lavender Macaron -Jasmine Jackfruit Cream Puff It is quite expensive though at $90 per person after tax and 20% mandated gratuity.

We came here on a Sunday with 6 of our girlfriends for our friend's surprise baby sprinkle and it was perfect. It was a cute setting in the downtown Kirkland area, with lots to do nearby. We enjoyed the 3 tier more than we have expected. The $60 pp also comes with unlimited tea service, the tea green tea was my favorite. The service was decent, can be tricky for one server to pour tea for the whole restaurant as there were moments where we really wanted more but everyone was busy. I would come again here for special occasions! What a treat!

Labubu pastries. I don't collect them. I eat them!

BEST TEA SERVICE! Yes, ALL CAPS! If you want to savor an atmosphere of whimsical romance, indulge in a curated (&humorous) experience of culinary delights, and the most luxurious and flavorful teas then I recommend FogRose Atelier. Tea service would be nothing without TEA and I loved that we could try all the teas (my favorites were Earl Grey and Secret Garden). Some folks compare FogRose to the Fairmont (which gives you one pot of tea that will be watered down over time). Each tea at FogRose was made and served with perfection by skilled staff who provided us with a brief history of each tea. In our fast-paced day, it was a true indulgence to relish the simple ritual of hot tea with family and Labubu pastries. Each month is a different theme and we can't wait to return.

it's pretty expensive but the inside is cute for photos with your girls! so many good tea options to choose from and the food was good. the staff are very attentive and friendly! :)

I would say super just OK experience and not worth the price overall. It was a one and done thing for me. The BAD: - Service can use improvement. I had to ask for a new plate and they left the dirty plates. They also left the menus on the table and everything was cold on the tiers so it was ready as soon as we got our tea. - The food was just okay. Nothing was super yum, and nothing seemed homemade. It looked better than it was. - The tea never stayed hot. I also felt like I had to keep asking for a refill. - The price, it's not worth $90 after tax and tip. There wasn't anything super special about the experience - Giving them a call for my baby shower they never gave a call back and then when I went to try this tea place out with my sister I could only make reservations online. The GOOD: - Location is great in kirkland. The day was sunny and I liked the big doors with the sunlight coming in. - Decor was nice. The setting and the place itself had great atmosphere that was picture worthy. Loved that they let my daughter wear a crown. - The welcoming and explanation of the menu and how it works was done right. - It's quiet in there. It definitely feels like a tea room.

Came for afternoon tea. Cost is $60 per person with a 20% surcharge. I tried each tea off the menu. Each was delicious but my favorites were the earl grey and rose congou. Food selection included eggs Florentine, smoked salmon on ciabatta bread, roasted beets with couscous and a blueberry scone. Dessert included an ube cream puff, coconut pineapple mousse and I had my macaron swapped for a sorbet. Savory dishes were decent but the sweets and desserts were very tasty. Service was exceptional. Staff was friendly and very attentive. The experience was very pleasant and the restaurant was clean. Bathrooms were outside of the restaurant down the hall with a combination needed.

I love the idea of FogRose Atelier, in the sense that their Afternoon Tea was traditional with a twist of flavors. I'm sure not all visits are the same, as they are seasonal and have an array of flavors. Cool that they have different types of teas, and you could try all of them, just ask as they refill your cup with a communal teapot dependent on the flavor of your choice. Not a large space at all, we made reservations and ended up at the bar which is actually quite cool to witness the workers setting up teas, and plating. Good service overall. My main reason for a knock of a star is despite the unique pastries and savories, I didn't find it to be exceptional and the price point is a bit steep for what you get. Been to more affordable and delicious spots for sure.

I had a lovely afternoon tea here for my birthday. FogRose is currently mid-move and doing pop ups at various locations. This week, they were at NYB Art Gallery in Kirkland. It was a fun vibe with bright paintings on the walls and the more traditional tea service set up. My friends and I really enjoyed the atmosphere! Onto the tea and food - the unique thing about the FogRose tea service is that you order by cup, meaning you can try as many teas as you want rather than committing to a pot of one type of tea. I enjoyed the Cameronian and the Lychee Green. We were also offered a non-alcoholic glass of champagne to start - very cute! Overall, the food was good and filling. I enjoyed the smoked salmon sandwich the most and the desserts were all very tasty and unique! My party had one vegan and one gluten free diet restriction that FogRose kindly accommodated. Everyone said they had enough food and enjoyed what was offered, but for the price I definitely think my vegan friend should have gotten more food and more of a variety. I'd recommend FogRose Atelier to any tea-lover!

I took my mom here for her birthday and we both had a lovely time! The savory options were probably some of the better I've had (compared to a few other high teas I've been to in Vancouver) - they were more than simply cold little tea sandwiches. Desserts had an interesting twist as well - lychee rose macarons, blueberry lavender cream puffs, and mango mousse dome cakes. Tea service is unlimited, with a few options each of black, green, and herbal teas to choose from. I wish the flavors were as creative as the desserts, but were just standard to me. The staff were kind and prompt, and didn't make us feel rushed at all. The 90 minute slot was just the right amount of time for us to enjoy the experience, and we were quite full afterwards. My main criticism is that I don't think they emphasize enough that Fogrose is a pop up, and that the location changes and is hosted by another business! If I hadn't looked at other reviews, I would have simply used the address on Google Maps and not realized it was different from the one on the reservation email. And even getting the right address, I still would have been confused that it took me to a different business (The Rouge Lounge this time) which looks completely different from earlier Yelp pictures in a bright white setting. Only until I got up to the door was there a small sign marking Fogrose. All in all, just make sure to follow the email, and go early to make sure you can find the right place!

Decent amount of fries, definitely has cheese flavor but not that much truffle oil aroma. I liked the wings which you get 6 per order. They weren't fried, but rather tender and juicy. My favorite dishes are the PHAD SEE EIW with chicken ($16.25) and the THAI GRILLED BEEF SALAD (cooked medium) ($20.50). The PHAD SEE EIW has the perfect sauce balance of sweet and savory flavors and comes with broccoli and carrot. The noodles are super long and wide so you know they are fresh and not from the box. The THAI GRILLED BEEF SALAD definitely has a kick to it. This dish comes with raw cucumbers, carrots, onions, and basil and is served in a tangy and umami fish sauce vinegar mix. The beef is extremely tasty, tender, and well-marinated. This past visit, my friends and I also tried two new dishes that I've never had at Isarn before- their CHIANG MAI NOODLES (aka Khao Soi) ($17.25) and the MINCED LAMB WITH THAI BASIL ($16.50). The CHIANG MAI NOODLES were beautifully presented with a nest of crunchy egg noodles on top of a creamy yellow curry with soft egg noodles underneath. It was served with pickled mustard cabbage and onions for extra punch of flavor. The MINCED LAMB WITH THAI BASIL reminded me of Vietnamese larb. However, this dish was more savory and less tangy than larb and the basil really shined through. It is quite oily though so make sure to enjoy it with a side of JASMINE RICE ($2.75). Portions are generous for all dishes and I always leave with leftovers. The atmosphere is modern, clean, and trendy. It's a great place for catching up with friends and not too loud. I will say the restaurant is a bit on the darker side, but that's just how they set the ambiance. Service was good and we got our food promptly within 15-20 minutes after ordering. It took a bit of time to waive the waiter down for to-go boxes, but they were attentive otherwise. Note that Isarn doesn't take reservations and it's street parking only. However, they have a waiting list kiosk inside the restaurant and so if they're busy, you can sign up for notifications and walk around the downtown Kirkland shops while you're waiting. Crunchy outside with tender shrimp and sweet chili sauce - a perfect appetizer to share. Isarn Fried Rice (4.25/5): A fried rice unlike any other. Was my personal favorite dish of the night. The rice kernels were separated into individual grains and coated in grease in the best way possible. I'm a kale hater, but the combination with salted eggs and the purposefully chewy fried steak pieces was just super delicious! Northern Style Sweet Curry (3.75/5): The curry itself is fantastic: super balanced between savory, fragrant, and sweet. The steak chunks unfortunately were just a bit overcooked and chewy. Durian Sticky Rice (4.25/5): Sticky rice has a super satisfying chew and I appreciated that the sauce wasn't overly sweet. Durian itself was sweet and creamy with just a touch funk. If you've never had durian before, this is a fantastic intro.
