This was the Kraken. Made with Empress gin and garnished with lemon. Very good, very strong. What more do you want? Lol

Staying at this hotel on my first ever trip to Washington state. It's a beautiful place located right in (what feels) like the heart of Kirkland. The interior design, the laid back atmosphere, how clean and presentable everything looked- and of course the helpful and friendly staff. I had breakfast, lunch, and dinner here and I honestly can say that every single item I got from their menu was perfectly delicious. Their drinks and selection at the bar was also very impressive. I'm already thinking about what I'm going to have for breakfast this morning lol

    Turkey sandwich with greens

Weekend brunch menu is not extensive but has all the favorites. My wife and our friend both ordered the turkey sandwich and absolutely loved it! Good portion of turkey matched well with the havarti cheese, garlic mayo, and cranberry sauce. I had their Hearth Breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon, potato, and sourdough bread. Scrambled eggs were very creamy, I imagine this is how Gordon Ramsay makes his. Appreciated them making the bacon extra crispy how I like it, but the bread slices were paper thin. We finished off with beignets which came out hot and fresh, and we preferred the creme anglaise dip to the raspberry preserves. Service was friendly and took care of our needs quickly.

Went to Hearth for Seattle restaurant week, and had a nice experience. Ambience is nice - it's in the Heathman hotel and it's located right across from a free garage. The waitstaff was friendly, and the starters were good - roasted vegetable salad and a seafood soup. My preserved lemon risotto was definitely on the tarter side - seemed like regular rather than Arborio rice but balanced nicely with the purée underneath. My favorite was the crème brûlée dessert! We liked the food but didn't love it and I don't know if we'll be back for the price point.

SRW Chicken schnitzel; thicker than a typical schnitzel and super juicy

We had a super chill and well timed date night here during SRW. Jason was a great waiter throughout the meal. The temperatures and flavors were also just right--salads dressed lightly, warm toasted bread, greens that weren't too bitter, fried chicken that's juicy and flavorful without relying on salt, fries and steak were both quality, and the balance of the chocolate cake with fresh raspberries and whipped cream, thanks Chef!

We tried their brunch after a long time and enjoyed it. We were seated immediately even without a reservation. We got Mushroom Egg skillet and Classic Benedict. Benedict was great, perfect runny eggs and a delicious hollandaise sauce. We loved the Mushroom egg skillet, especially the collection of mushrooms. The breakfast potatoes were really good.

    Margherita pizza - decent.

This restaurant is located inside the Heathman Hotel, so it was convenient for me to have dinner there tonight. The service is great. My server was attentive and very friendly. The ambiance is cozy and has lots of seating spaces. Here is what I got: - Small Caesar Salad: this was ok. The lettuce was too big to eat and the croutons didn't feel mixed in with the salad and dressing. - Margherita Pizza: this was ok. Nothing great. The sauce was a bit bland for my liking. Overall, decent place to dine. Limited vegetarian options.

It's a cute place, with a little sidewalk seating area. Great for summer! Everything I've had here has been great. Drinks are great. Prices are a little high and service is a little slow at times.

    Pork belly hash

Must be a fluke because our service was great and the food was pretty darn good too! We arrived at 8:05 and our waiter, who said he was here only two weeks now, was named Chris. Chris was spot on as was the PNW scramble and pork belly hash! Delicious as my husband kept humming indicating he was enjoying his breakfast! The PNW scramble is a beautiful blend of salmon, eggs, spinach and a cream sauce. It came with potatoes (also great) and sour dough bread. You must try the Bonne Maman blueberry preserves that come with it. The pork belly hash has pork belly, mushrooms, pickled onions, poached eggs and hollandaise sauce, with potatoes. Truthfully my husband ate both and said both were very good! Not sure where all the bad reviews are from but if you come, I'd strongly recommend asking for Chris!

    Charcuterie
    Sheri H.

I purchased the bacon cheeseburger with fries and a charcuterie board. Excellent burger. Not greasy, fresh meat not frozen and yummy bun. Fries had the right crunch outside and soft inside. I could've done without the crackers on the board and had some bread instead, but loved all the cheese and meats. Spicy mustard was spot on.

This place is oddly a restaurant. The service was good but only came here when everything else was closed.

Sat outside in a beautiful covered space with plenty of heaters and enjoyed the rain tapping on the roof while dining. The service was amazing, friendly, willing to answer questions, all you could ever want. But, the star of the show was absolutely the food. Starting with the birria tacos that immediately stirred up memories of my times in CanCun when I was younger. I will be going back for lunch this week just to have those tacos again. The rest of our party had ribs, steak, sliders, pasta, and oysters, everything was perfect. High quality ingredients, perfectly cooked, well balanced flavors, some delicious twists.. 10/10 WILL go again.

However no bread, but you can add for $4. How are you supposed to eat steam mussels without bread or fries?. It's a fundamental part of the dish, as Belgians! The heavenly aroma of freshly prepared food wafted through the air, teasing our senses and building excitement while the cozy decor instantly elevated our mood. With an exceptional selection of wine and drinks, plus captivating indoor and outdoor seating, it seemed every whim was thoughtfully catered to. Despite arriving at 1:00 to a lively crowd, we were seated promptly, thanks to the impeccable and exceptional service. Our server's remarkable attentiveness and expertise set the tone for a truly unforgettable meal, and another staff member exceeded our expectations, sharing delightful stories about all their special events, such as Happy Hour and Wine Wednesday, and inviting us back for dinner. She shared that the biscuits we inquired about were made in-house, a testament to the restaurant's pursuit of excellence. With customer service that inspires and leaves a lasting impression, we can't wait to return and relish the experience once more. I highly recommend the Biscuits and gravy, Eggs Benedict, or the Cottage Breakfast; all were truly spectacular! This place truly deserves a spot on your must-visit list, and I highly recommend it.

Obviously the person on the grill wasn't trained or wasn't paying attention. Pacing was also a problem. Waited pretty long to order. Then salads came while we were finishing last bites of the appetizer. Then entrees came while I was literally in the middle of my salad. Talk about rushed. That salad would have been good if the shaved parm had been shaved. However, the pieces of parm were huge - really thick. Can't imagine who would think that was a good bite on a salad. The Broccolini was half cooked. I could barely cut the stem with a steak knife. Obviously. I couldn't eat those stems. They did not have a flight of wine that was all reds (i don't drink white wine). So why 4 stars instead of less? The mushroom toast appetizer was fantastic. I shouid have stopped there and would have been happy. The ceasar dressing and large crouton were good, even if the shaved parm was a bust. Once the steak was served to me medium as I'd ordered it, it was delicious and the fries were crispy and went well with the steak. I enjoyed the glass of wine I ordered. I hope they get their act together - such potential!
